Great selection of Italian food. You can tell that the recipes had that original feel. Had a great wine and a great waitress. Loved the Italian music playing.

So good to find a restaurant while we were staying in Andalusia that didn't fry everything . We had great food. Nice Italian music playing with our meal. Waitress was excellent.

The lasagna was not good tasted like it came straight out of a frozen meal. Would not recommend this place!!

The food has always been excellent with large portions. All the staff are always accommodating and smiling. I love the intimate atmosphere. There is also a bar with large selection. Highly recommended.

I really hate giving a bad review to a place like this, but unfortunately the food experience was so bizarre that I felt I just had to get if off my chest. I have never had worse Italian food at this price point. Not sure where the recipes came from, but it was unlike anything I have ever tasted, and that's not a compliment. The two stars are for the decor and atmosphere-- the restaurant is in a renovated old home and the comfortable inside decor does make you feel like you are dining in some Italian mother's kitchen/home. Spaghetti and meatballs ($11.95) was simply not good--marinara sauce had a bizarre sweet taste to it--I could not finish it. Two others in my dining party concurred. Chicken Piccata ($16.95) is where it really went off the rails. It was unlike any chicken piccata I have eaten anywhere. Seemed to be a tomato based sauce va the traditional white wine/butter/lemon sauce and the chicken was chopped with the dish being served in a bowl instead of on a plate/platter. A complete miss all the way around. I could not finish the dish.
Other unusual misses: A $1 charge for tap water and a $5 charge for table bread--haven't been to an Italian restaurant that charged for bread (and bread did not come with either dish). To make matters worse, the hand held electronic payment system the restaurant uses didn't seem to provide an option for a tip--it closed out the total apparently without offering the option...and I never carry cash.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nate B.Salt Lake City, UT067Jun 17, 2022
The eggplant parmigiana was amazing, and so was the chicken and the meatballs. As a warning, all of the food was VERY hot and you might need to wait a few minutes before eating, but the heat just makes it taste better and gives it the authenticity of burning your mouth while eating. The service was excellent, and complementary bread with their secret sauce was an amazing start to the meal. They'll even refill it, and you get plenty of bread each time. Also, while there, make sure you purchase a minimum of two quart jars of secret sauce. Currently priced at around nine dollars.

Delicious food and good service! Lasagna is yummy and the chicken Marsala nice too. Cosy old house makes it nice.

I'm not really one to complain but the experience I had here was not good at all. I ordered the cheese ravioli and it was clearly microwaved all of the sauce was burnt to the edge of the plate and the plate itself was so hot I'm surprised it didn't burn a hole through the table... my friend ordered the chicken alfredo only to get spaghetti noodles in a very watery sauce and canned chicken. I also couldn't even get lemon with my water. It was something straight out of kitchen nightmares. I was very disappointed and won't be back.

Absolutely love this little place! The BEST Italian I've ever had! Homemade sauce is like heaven! Family business and such nice people! And it's like you're eating right at home!

Lovely place!!! Great service, had a great time chatting with Ms. Ophelia. The food is delicious, and I seemed to share the same sentiment with other customers, who I heard exclaiming the same words. The eggplant was delicious, the best I have had. Other eggplant Parmesan pastas I have tried from other restaurants are rock-bottom in edibility compared to Ophelia's Italian restaurant. I highly recommend this charming place, a hidden gem amongst the town of Andalusia. The food was homemade and scrumptious. It's a must try! :)
