I purchased my wife's Acura MDX here after shopping Bridgewater and Springfield Acura. I went in after work, made them aware I was serious about buying it now, I made an offered and they accepted. My wife was excited when I surprised her with the exact car and color she wanted. They also threw in the OEM mats for me.

5 star treatment
Easiest car purchasing experience I have ever had. No hidden fees and they even delivered the car to my home. Kudos to the Open Road Acura teamHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 26, 2022
Open Road Acura of East Brunswick was the fourth Acura dealership I went to in the past few weeks to get the 2023 Acura RDX I wanted (interior and exterior color, AWD, technology package), and I had such a positive experience with Anthony Guiffredo! I dread the haggling process of buying a car, and when a salesperson is manipulative or pushy, and Anthony is none of that. He is right to the point, honest, and keeps it real, which is what I appreciate and reciprocate. My car arrived a few days after I placed the deposit, and he kept me updated on its arrival via text or phone call, and made it clear that he will continue to be available if I have any questions in the future. There were two others that wanted to see him during my time there, and I can see why, he's great to work with! Thanks Anthony and Open Road!

We were in the market for a new Luxury SUV and after many stops to other dealerships we decided to go with Open Road Acura of EB. We had many other quotes on the same vehicle we were considering. However, Open Road Acura had one of the lowest pricing available. I did my due diligence going around trying to find the best price and trade in for my old vehicle. I actually went to about 5 other Acura dealerships to shop and compare. I was very close on making a deal at another Acura dealership, but decide to give Open Road Acura a chance for our business.
After reading many online reviews from yelp and others. I decided to ask for our salesman Raymond Lee. I bought many cars in my lifetime both new and used cars. I could say that in my past experience that other salesman were pushy, rude, arrogant, argumentative, and overall not easy to deal with. Guess what? Raymond is the opposite of those typical stereotypes. Ray was one of the best car salesman's I've ever dealt with EVER. He is friendly, attentive, professional, and makes sure you are completely satisfied with the purchase before you leave the dealership. On a personal note, I just found out that he owns more vehicles than I did. I have owned about 24 cars up to date and a car enthusiast so we both definitely relate. We were just taking about other cars in the market so it was a causal conversation and did not feel like a sales pitch.
Overall, I definitely recommend Open Road Acura of EB and Ray Lee for your next new or used car purchase. He is a wonderful person to work with and I was glad I was able to work with him. He made us feel it was a no pressure environment when we were negotiating. Both him and his sales manager made us feel confident that they were giving us the best deal and trade in value that we decided to purchase from Open Road Acura. At the end of the day, we came home with a brand new 21 Acura RDX Aspec with color combo we wanted. If you are in the market go see Raymond Lee and the people at Open Road Acura of EB. I don't give out 5 stars ratings often at car dealerships, but they deserve 5 stars for Ray and Open Road during our transaction.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Michelle L.Blackwood Terrace, Blackwood Terrace, NJ01Nov 9, 2023
If I could give zero stars, I would. The General Manager, Freddy, is the absolute worst person to deal with. He is a liar and is very unfair. I would NOT trust this dealership with a stray animal. They cheat people out of money so if you choose to purchase from this dealership (which I would advise against), proceed with EXTREME caution. I will be reporting this dealership to the BBB. Acura Financial will also be filing a complaint on my behalf.

I am so extremely disappointed in the customer service we have received since purchasing a car this week. We have tried contacting the sales department several times, texts, emails, voicemails and have not reached anyone to give us information for the questions we have nor have we been called back!! We worked with Essam who has been reading our texts through read receipts and not answering. We know this is the correct number because there are previous messages to which he responded, but has not responding to questions about where to send the money. Is this the kind of treatment you give to a brand new customer that just left with a new car from your department?! I honestly want to return the car because dealing with these people has been awful and it's been 4 days. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

I called on a Friday afternoon at 5:00 pm to express interest in a blue 2020 MDX Aspec model to make sure it was on the lot. I was assured that it was and set up a 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm appointment for a test drive. After a 30 minute drive to the dealership, I arrived at 12:30 pm, only to wait 15 minutes for the sales rep to have time for me. After giving her my information for the test drive, they proceeded to bring out a white 2020 RDX. We went inside to double check, and the rep had the wrong dealer model number brought out. After another few minutes, she came back and apologized because the MDX was sold earlier in the morning, telling me she 'would have called me had she'd known' and had the nerve to ask me if there was anything else on the lot I'd like to look at. Not on that lot, and sure as hell not from that sales rep. Don't bother with this place.

I'm looking to purchase a new car and was eyeing the 21' Acura RDX A-Spec package. I send my husband out to negotiate on the price of the RDX only because my past experience of dealing with car salesman are not pleasant. It's predominantly a male leading profession and I hate to stereotype, but will. My experiences are men condescending and assuming that women knows nothing about cars and it's features.
In any case, after my husband worked on the deal of the car, he came home and we discussed. I was fine with the numbers and I decided to seal the deal. On the day to pick up the car, I met the salesman, Raymond Lee, who my husband had worked with on this purchase. He was very nice and I felt very comfortable speaking to him. I never felt pressured into purchasing anything additional as with most other business sales I've experienced. He's also fast in addressing any questions and more importantly taking any of our concerns seriously. I saw a small scratch on the car door and yes, I'm very anal about my cars and always checking. I pointed out the lil scratch and he took the car back and got it buffed out. Few minutes later lil scratch gone. Cool. He also seems very knowledgeable with cars in general and not just Acura brand. He gave us his direct line just in case we have any questions even after leaving the lot with the new car. I've never had felt such great service and in care from a salesperson. I'm rating 5 stars for his customer service. I'd highly recommend looking for Raymond if you're looking for a new vehicle.
Overall, my husband and I are very happy with our purchase experience. Thank you, Ray!Helpful 19Thanks 0Love this 12Oh no 0 - J J.NJ, NJ01Dec 27, 2022
WORST CARS SALES PERSON EVER. Completely unprofessional! This was honestly the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Essam was very rude, disrespectful and shouted at me when it came to price negotiation . Then when we addressed him raising his voice he gave the excuse of "having an accent" when that was never the case. I wanted to purchase the car for for my daughter because she got into a head on collision and needed a new car to get back to college, but I intent to take my money else where. DO NOT GO HERE. also if you think the price listed online is the final price ... you are Sadly mistaken. Overall I'd rate the experience a 0 and a waste of time I should have listened to the other reviews. There are so many other car dealerships in the area, save the headache and go elsewhere !

Considered purchasing a new vehicle from this dealer through my employer's corporate car buying program, but with both vehicles I was interested in, they refused to honor the true car price. Instead, my salesman Lou tried to convince me to lease a car versus financing - even though the discounts pertained to financing a vehicle.
My visit to the dealer to test drive went well though. I was greeted promptly and steered toward Lou who was courteous, and to his credit, he did ask the manager if he would honor the deals and was told no, which is too bad. And after the second deal fell through, I received emails from a different manager, with a lease offer and an admission that the price discrepancy was on their end. I found out from the car buying program that this is not how it works - the dealer is supposed to honor the deal. In the meantime, the search continues.Helpful 18Thanks 0Love this 11Oh no 1
