I agree with Chris K.
They lie to you for your business and put taking your money priority over you getting in shape. Two things they lied to me that really ticked me off were:
1. They said they would expand their gym by the end of August 2014. It's now February 2015 and still no expansion.
2. No cancellation fee. They charged me $35 for cancelling.. twice.
DON'T GO TO THIS GYM.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Thanh N.Houston, TX543Apr 27, 2017
Do not go to this gym. I paid for a years membership in full and never gave then my approval to renew my membership. I used my membership like twice and never used it again. They call me a year later saying i owe them $250 for another year. I never gave then my permission to renew my membership at all.
They will try to keep billing you so bill you until they cant bill you anymore then they report you to the credit bureau and ruin your credit. Avoid this gym at all cost. My law firm is in the process of filing a lawsuit.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dec 18, 2015
Stopped by here for a personal training session with Alan....It was a really good training session used to gage my skill level. It wasn't light by no means and by the end of the session you could really tell he put me through the test. The gym seems small and I don't know how packed it gets, but it looks to have effective results since one of my friends has been training with them and within a year she tried out for her first body competition. FYI...the blue mat has the perfect cushion for anyone with knee or lower back problem to do any type of exercises that require jumping.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! It is not your 24 hour or lifetime fitness, but the people work work and work out here are serious about fitness. Just being in this gym motivates me to do better not just in fitness, but also in life. And the eye candy!!!

This is without a doubt the best gym in the Sugar Land area.
I'm often asked 'what amenities does my gym have?' the best answer I can offer... work. This is not a 'pick-up' scene, or a large chain that pushes people through like cattle. The owner are both knowledgeable and personable. People come to One 2 One to work and get results plain and simple.
So, if you are someone who needs 'amenities' in your gym, this isn't the place for you. But if you like working hard, then working a bit harder, and being around people who all work hard and share in one another success this is the place for you.
I always use the Cheer's analogy. It's a local spot, run by locals, where just about everyone either knows your name, or at the very least will go out of their way to encourage you.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marisol Q.Sugar Land, TX01013Sep 18, 2015
I was satisfied with this gym in the beginning but not towards the end. I paid for my membership for the whole year upfront towards the end they screwed me into paying for another year. VIOLET said that if I didn't pay the $250 then she was going to send me to collections!!!! I never signed up for a renewal. She was very rude. I will never recommend this place to anyone!! I eft there and signed up back at lifetime fitness to me its with the extra money.

I love the fact that the gym is what a gym is supposed to be. They have personal trainers that willing to help out everyone in the gym. The equipment is set up in a way that allows one to focus on their workout, not deal with the chaos of a typical gym in Sugar Land.

The best compliment I can pay to a gym is
that it is what Hank's Gym used to be. It is the epitome of "real gym". Not for everyone but that's the appeal of this gym. A more raucous, hardcore smaller more personal venue where men are men and the women sometimes are too. Great trainers, occasional drama, sweat, grunting and no shortage of muscle give this place the atmosphere that is reminiscent of the bodybuilding heyday that was the 80s.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Richard D.Sugar Land, TX7239213Jun 29, 2015
If your serious about working out this is the place for you. You dont have to fight for those equipments...its a gym for serious people...

Customers should be aware of this business. It is not registered with the better business bureau, so if you have a problem(and you most likely will) you will have a very difficult time obtaining the money that you are owed or canceling your contract.

Bad business practices such as charging you amounts they quoted at lower prices verbally, changing your training times, cutting your training times short or starting late, hidden fees, etc. Not to mention, they are impossible to reach when you need to settle an issue. I read a few bad reviews but decided to give them a try bc of the great reviews of the other location(which was too far to drive). The two stores with the same name are not affiliated any longer and so I was mistaken to think I might have a good experience. Don't make my mistake!
