OKA Sushi & Thai

I love this place. I always get the Mexican cut-up roll, edamame and dumplings. All so good and fresh.
Service is good. It's usually busy and they do a lot of take out!

My wife had seen a Duck Curry photo on Yelp online for this restaurant and that is what brought us to Downtown Lake Worth. It was early so we were able to find close by street parking,
They feature quite a large menu with both and Japanese and Thai dishes. This visit, I decided to go with the Japanese side of the menu. I ordered a Kanisu roll and some Salmon sushi pieces. My dishes arrived and I enjoyed them.
The kitchen stays very busy with take orders, but they get to the dine in customers also.
They also feature Lunch specials that we might try when in the area.

The sushi was good, pad Thai not so much. Would go back for sushi! Pad Thai was too saucy but the sushi roll
I got was loaded with fish and meat so that's a plus.

Wonderful restaurant to get some sushi and ramen. I enjoyed both their tuna tartar and their Shoyu ramen. Both were flavorful and the fish was very fresh.
The restaurant is small. A couple tables inside and some outside; may be difficult for larger crowds. Service was friendly and quick. Definitely a good choice for dinner.

I was craving sushi and I was in the area, so I searched on Yelp for sushi near me. This was the first place that popped up and it looked good (judging from the reviews). I looked at the menu and ordered the Blue Ocean Cut Up Roll and the JB Cut Up Roll. The overall cost wasn't terrible, it was $27.82 after taxes (pretty average for a sushi spot).

I placed the order via Yelp and since I was so close after completing my errands, I figured I'd just swing by the restaurant and wait for my order in the area. I walked in and right off the bat, didn't seem friendly or receiving so that was off-putting to say the least. Then, I told them I was there for a pick-up and my name. They said "it's not ready yet" in a rude tone as if I was rushing them (which BTW, I wasn't whatsoever). I responded "That's fine, I know I'm early." Then they proceed to repeat that same statement to me twice in the same unfriendly manner which I responded "it's fine" two more times. Talk about totally unnecessary! They made me feel like I was a nuisance when all I did was tell them that I was there for my pick up (knowing I'm early and they could take their time).

Overall, the sushi was ok and the service, not the vibe. It's a one and done for me, I'm not coming back.

Leaving another 5 star review for them because they are so good to their customers! Had a party this weekend and they did not disappoint with their trays! This was a very large order and they knocked it out of the park. The food was delicious and presentation scored major points as well.

I came with my boyfriend for dinner for the first time the other night. The place is small, but the sushi was delicious. We really enjoyed the Miami Heat Roll. The Spicy Tuna Roll and Tuna Lover also did not disappoint. We were not fans of the Special Wahoo Sashmi. It was just ok. We will be back though.

The best sushi in the area!!! the sushi is fresh and delicious every time we go. The tonkotsu ramen is amazing always, creamy and extremely flavorful, the pork melts in your mouth and the egg is perfectly seasoned. Service is always good in this cute little spot. Has become my go-to for ramen and amazing sushi!

We ordered pick up from this restaurant a week or so ago. They followed our instructions to a T. My extra hot red curry was spicy and just how I like it. We ordered several rolls of sushi, all of them were delicious and fresh tasting with generous amount of fish. Thai iced tea was made perfectly with the perfect amount of tea, milk, and ice. It wasn't watered down at all and absolutely delicious.

Overall, I found the quality of the food as well as portions here really wonderful, and would definitely order from here again.

I've been coming here for years and it's my favorite sushi spot in lake worth. Best roll is the Miami heat. Also recommend the JB tempura for beginner sushi goers. Gyozas are amazing! Got three orders one time. Great service as always. The restaurant is very small with only a few tables so be patient with the staff cause it gets crowded. Definitely worth it if you're in the lake worth beach area.
