We love this place. The food is always wonderful, whether we order sushi, tempura, or udon soup. Several varieties of udon noodle soup are available, and all the ones we've tried are delicious. The sushi is fresh and tasty. Yum. Be prepared to wait for a table--this place is almost always full, in my experience. Service is not fast, but no slower than any other sushi place I've been to. Prices are decent, and the quality is top notch.

Visitors coming from Portland, Vancouver, San Francisco probably won't be impressed. For us in Central Oregon, though, this is a special sushi restaurant.
Good sushi, usually good service though it can get crowded and hectic. The atmosphere has a special feel. Being here is very Redmond but also gives us a window onto Japan.
Higher prices and smaller portions have been changing this spot, my family isn't going as often as we used to. When we do, it's still a treat.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Y A.Temecula, CA6313816Apr 20, 2024
Oh where do I start? Sushi tasted old. Got food to go for son-got home and smelled like old fish. Very poor service. I definitely could write more, but I won't. While I have never owned a sushi restaurant, I have owned 2 restaurants/bars. I know fresh/good ingredients and definitely know good service. Sadly, Oishi has neither.

This place came recommended from somebody that people drive here from Bend to eat here. It's been around for a while. We were not impressed. We live in LA and are used to pretty awesome sushi. It wasn't bad but we had expectations that weren't met. Maybe it's good stuff for this part of the country. Definitely took care of my Sushi fix for the day. We really wish we could have given him 3.5 but will do a four.

This restaurant came to us highly recommended. We tried it in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday when other restaurants we very slow. This restaurant was busy. I know why it was so busy. The food was amazing. I love rainbow rolls and they had some of the freshest fish I've had in a while. Peter's perfection was really good and had a different flavor than we are used to for sushi. The different flavor was very fresh cilantro. It was excellent! We loved it and look forward to going to sushi here again!

3 choices of their lunch combinations. I got Tonkatsu (pork), shrimp & veggie tempura, and California rolls, came with miso soup and rice. All for these, it's a little under $16. Loved it!!!!!

WOW! Umai! Sushi was delicious! Recommended to me by the lady working the gift shop at the Redmond airport.
The restaurant was packed with people waiting outside. I ordered online and took back to my hotel. Ordered a couple of rolls because I could not decide. I ate half as they were very filling!
Wasabi is nice and strong.
All the tools were really good but my favorite was the Wonderful roll! I loved the texture, the flavor, everything about it.
Tuna box was really good as well, nice blend of Tuna flavors.
Grammie was a nice roll as well, a little flat on flavor even with the Sriracha and jalapeño but if you're starting with fusion rolls this is a promising mellow start.
Very delicious and can't wait to visit again!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Madeline M.Redmond, OR120459Oct 31, 2023Updated review
Again very disappointed with this restaurant. Terrible sushi and charged for an order I did not make. Really poor form. Do not go to that restaurant. Overpriced and terrible customer service. I wouldn't even give them one star apparently for me to post review I had to.

The staff are lovely, but the quality of food is terrible.
I would humbly suggest to drive to Bend and have the best sushi. This establishment is overpriced. Drive to bend and get real sushi. - Morgen R.Portland, OR05Jan 27, 2024
The staff there was pretty rude. Sushi was ok but it was cold. I also got a tempura & it was cold as well. I was pretty disappointed.
