While the quality remains GREAT, and the move across the street is fine, there are probably lots of people who don't look at really old reviews. So, this update is to let you know that Ocean's REMAINS a completely yummy, extremely affordable, great place to have fresh sushi. Located in downtown Hilo, it is easy and convenient. Having lived in Japan for a long time, I am very picky about my sushi but Ocean's never disappoints.
Go there! Yum.....Itadaki masu!!

Oh no 0Jun 24, 2010Previous reviewThis little, diner style, Japanese restaurant in the heart of downtown Hilo blew my mind! I lived in Japan for 6 years. so I KNOW good food. We ordered 5 items and EACH of them was amazingly fresh and delicious. Plus, it's cheap! Don't expect fancy decor but Oceans is a great value and wonderful food.
