Butterfly Farm

Butterfly farm or Chase farm? They are right next door to each other and I was confused as to which place was which. I still don't have an answer to where one ends and the other begins. Last weekend I attended the Sunflower Fest at Butterfly Farm. It was very small- 5 vendors and their own farm stand selling honey, veggies, signs, sunflower painting, jewelry and knit items. You were able to see the chickens, goats and sheep. You also could walk into the sunflower field and take photos. The two 10 year old girls loves running through the paths within the field and figuring out where it let them out. This kept them entertained for a little while.

This was a cute, free little festival. kept us buy for an hour and 15 minutes. I hope they do it again next year but go bigger! Just a few tips:
1. it cost money to go into the flower field so buy a ticket at their little farm stand
2. parking is limited
3. leave the stroller behind
4. bring cash if your interested in their veggies
5. The bouquets of flowers they sell are GORGEOUS!!!
