O'Sung Auto Body & Paint

I called Auto club for a dead battery and they sent O Sung .
Neven was the employee that came with the tow truck and checked out my car, jump started and then checked a few mechanical things just to make sure the cause of dead battery. Once I called AAA and he got the call he immediately called me to verify, check my location and immediately came to Nuuanu within 10 minutes . He was excellent !
In addition I highly recommend OSung for auto body work and mechanical as in the past they had great customer care and did top notch work.

Nearly one decade of calling O'Sung Auto Body & Pain our go-to for any and all car issues and will never look back.  The owner and his crew are always 100% professional, kind, and honest.  Sometimes when I go in for a routine oil change/check-up, I think something else may be wrong and if I were with a company/business not operating under strict business ethics, I am sure by now I could have been taken advantage of and paid for things I did not need done to my vehicle.  More often than not, I am wrong, and I pick up my car with a bill MUCH lower than I anticipate paying when I drop it off.

Once again, I am THANKFUL I followed a friend's referral to O'Sung in early 2014, and I am GRATEFUL for their awesomeness!  Thanks, O'Sung!

I cannot thank Chen and Yun enough for their expertise and service. I was recently t-boned by another vehicle. This was my first accident so I was quite unfamiliar and lost in the process. I am so blessed that the tow that picked up my car was O'Sung. Even their driver was so kind. He was so apologetic that this happened to me which really helped comfort me in such a difficult time. He was going to tow is to another lot but offered to see if he could get it in at their lot with his bosses permission, since they were closed. From that moment on they have done nothing but go above an beyond to help me get back in to my vehicle ASAP. Communication was TOP NOTCH. Chen and Yun sent me photos and constantly texted me along the way. I was back in my car in well under a month. That's with parts coming in and labor. The body work on the car is flawless. I think they are rather busy so if there is a wait I think it is well worth it. I would recommend O'Sung to anyone.

Having a flat tire while you are on vacation is no fun! Especially when your rental car company (Budget) is not going to pay for the roadside assistance!!! Luckily we have AAA, they sent O'Sung to change the tire for us. AAA told us it would be a 3-hr wait. But O'sung arrived in just 30 mins. Changing the tire was even faster. It only took approximately 10 minutes. Very nice people just like a lot of Hawaiians we met on this island. Thank you O'Sung for your help. You guys are amazing!

1st at because Yelp requires it. Owner is a terrorizing bully!!! I towed my car (in the afternoon) to this shop to get an ESTIMATE because it was his tow company that I used via AAA. Clearly told the owner i just wanted an estimate and not to start any work until I got the ok from my insurance. Provided Osung with the estimate from my insurance (for $1,890) that clearly stated INSPECTION ONLY, and told him I will call when I get the ok.

The next morning my insurance said I wasn't covered and I would have to pay out of pocket. I called Osung and the owner said he already fixed it and had some parts on order. When I told him I never gave him the ok, he immediately got unbelievably aggressive and screamed that I had to pay. I kept reiterating I never gave him the ok and he hung up on me! Mind you, he still had parts on order and was charging me for the full amount of my insurance estimate.

I then drove to his shop and when I told him he never got my approval to start the repairs he then stood up, leaned into me and said I have to pay or he's keeping my car and I can pay $100/day until I pay. He told me to pay or get the f&@k out. Be aware I'm a 60 year old woman, 5'3 and he was at least 6'2 putting his face in front of mine and screaming at me to get the F out! I then said ok I'll pay because I was so shaken by his reaction.

I told him I want to see the itemized invoice of what he did. He then told me I will get an invoice AFTER I pay CASH. I asked again and he started screaming at me to F'ck off and he will keep my car. I saw the invoice on his desk so I quickly snapped a photo of it. He then got violently angry at me that I started crying while he continued to get within an inch of my face still screaming " PAY PAY PAY" as he backed me out of his office door. The invoice I snapped a photo of was just one sentence with the amount of $1,850.95.

I was so distraught that I called the police to help me. When the police came I stayed outside and told them I would pay because I was terrified at this point and just needed my car. The police went to talk to him in his office and after about 5 minutes came out. The officer said the owner is going to undo all the repairs and tow it to the canal on Kokea Street. I said ok. I just wanted to be done with this guy and his terrible shop. It was quite traumatizing for me as I have never experienced any sort of violence like this. Personally or professionally. I cannot believe he is still in business.

So now he responds with more lies. Don't even know who you're referring to so it must be another customer you pissed off or terrorized. I don't even have a son. LOL I don't even have to address it because by the looks of all his reviews, it clearly shows what kind of businessman is. HE IS A STONE COLD BULLY, LIAR AND SHOUKD NIT BE IN BUSINESS

This place always does the best repairs and is always responsive. Definitely recommend this shop for auto body repairs

HORRIBLE SERVICE- especially the owner of the establishment.


Been to multiple places on the island but I have never had an experience as I had here today, shouldn't even say experience as the interaction didn't last more than 1 min. Drove to O'Sung to inquire about the possibility of getting a car safety the OWNER - YUN- was incredibly rude, completely dismissed us, and said " we are the way to the bush for that" as he brushed us off with his hand. I understand being busy but the lack of customer service and his overall attitude are not the way to run a business

We've taken our 2015 Ford Transit 350 XLT to O'Sung many times for body work for accident damage, however, this time it was for severe rust repair. Yun and his team managed to get our van in pristine shape within a couple of days and rust proofed it for future prevention!!! I can't recommend any other auto shop. Superior communication, quality of work & service, and efficient turn around time considering they're extremely busy. The staff are always working hard, competent, courteous, and it is apparent that they all work superbly together. Keep charting the course, Yun! Very grateful for all of you!

I found this company through AAA. Management is clearly at fault for the poor customer experience. The dispatcher was so stressed and pressed for time that she was rude with her approach. The technicians are hit and miss and almost always new to the company. One technician told me that they have really high turnover but left the reasons unsaid.

It seemed clear that there is very high pressure to up sell so be careful to be clear in your instructions on any repairs.
