Numero Uno Pizza

We love this place so much, can't go wrong at The Numero Uno!
Awesome atmosphere, everyone is very nice..
You walk in feeling good, you'll walk out feeling great.

This is the place that will end up being our bi-weekly date night, child included

Have no fear, they were so helpful and the little ones loved it!! Yes, on an off date, the staff at Numero Uno, went to work got the Pizza's made and delivered them to the School. How cool is that

That's called the best customer service in the AV!! If I'm wrong, please tell me or point me to a place that would be willing too do the very same.....good luck with that

If I sound like I'm gushing, you are right! I'm so grateful to them for doing an awesome job on their day off! Numero Uno is the best and if you don't believe me, I got over 40 very happy people to vouch for me!

Delicious pizza! Great crust and the cheese isn't too much. Wonderful customer service. Thank you to the young guy that delivered.

Update: Bridget is still awesome as well as the food. However, the dated decor has been updated and is much better. No more signs on the restaurant. :)
Came back from Texas on 2/26/2019. Karina provided excellent service again. The food was hot, tasty and hit the spot! My favorite restaurant in the AV with my favorite server :). Win win.

This review is based on food quality. Great friendly service btw. We got a large deep dish pizza with the works. The pizza could of had a bit more flavor like in their tomatoes or meats. I tasted more of the sweet tomatoes than anything.
Same goes for their original wings appetizer, needed some flavor. Their large cannoli was on point.

I've been craving their pizza, but what's up with the hours? They are closed mondays and I just went to order (Wednesday) and all sites say closed everyday now!! What's happening

Tonight I did a pick up and got a pizza, salad, cheese cake!!
Spoke the nicest lady Bridgett and the owners son, I forget his name.
Both are just super sweet and kind.

Just ate lunch, omg, so delicious! Individual pizza with meatballs and black olives. Salad with Italian.

It was so very good! I was only going to eat one, maybe two slices of my pizza, but it was so fresh and exactly what I wanted, I ate the whole thing.

" BEWARE " We used to have a Numero Uno where I live and " THIS IS NO NUMERO UNO " The deep dish pizza is just called a thick crust and that's what it is and just baked in a deep dish pan " DONT BE FOOLED ".

The pizza was in the least mediocre it came out so fast that the cheese was only half melted and the toppings that were under the cheese were not even hot. The best part was the crust that if it was cooked any longer would be burnt. The real Numero Uno would be hot and have a lot of sauce, This pizza was nether hot or had more then a light sauce.

The topper of all this was the waitress if that's what you want to call her, she tried to over charge our credit card bringing a receipt with two different amounts. I had left 5 dollars on the table before this for a bill of $26.23 and caught the extra charge of $31.23 on the receipt that was to be signed and returned. Her excuse was that she billed us for another customer, but we found it odd that it still ended in $XX.23 GIVING HERSELF 5 DOLLARS. I promptly took back my 5 dollar tip and we asked that the bill be adjusted. After the young lady had no idea how to refund 5 dollars a manager or someone of greater importance said to just give us 5 dollars .. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ..

I ordered the pizza dough balls and works deep dish. It wasn't great by any means. The dough balls were deep fried and just loaded with butter and garlic. The flavor was alright, but that's just because the pool of butter and garlic.

The pizza was bland and unimpressive. I prob wouldn't order here again and would look elsewhere.

I love this place. Parking can be challenging depends on the time of the day. The pasta was so so. Salad was ok. But I love their Pizzas. The service is great. I used to eat Numero UNO's Pizza all the time during my freshman year in Pasadena. Inexpensive and good portion of the food. I will definitely come back for more pizza.
