Love Social Cafe

Our first stop when we arrive in Ojai is always here to grab two or three croissants.
Seating at the patio eating croissant and hot chocolate is so pleasant and refreshing.
Easy parking, shade, fresh breeze, crunchy croissants. What else ?

Came here for breakfast on our quick trip to Ojai. Veggie breakfast tacos with soyrizo were super tasty. Great espresso drinks.

Very chill vibe among the wait staff. The wait was not too long (which was a surprise based on other reviews I read)

Love the outdoor seating area.

My breakfast sandwich was very underwhelming- it was more like an omelette on toast. This place is supposed to be known for their bread but I didn't think it was anything special
My friend said the coffee was just okay. They were super busy when we were there since it was Memorial Day weekend so the service was just okay

My friend and I came here last Sunday for brunch. It is a small cafe located close to the ojai farmers market, but we had no problem finding parking in their private lot. You order at the counter and they give you cute affirmation cards (I forgot what mine was though). I ordered a scramble with soyrizo and mushrooms. I should have added avocado since it was a little plain, but the hot sauce made up for it! I also wanted the dos topas but they were out of it so I got the ashland seltzer on draft instead and it tasted very good! My friend ordered the breakfast sandwich on a croissant with bacon and a beer. She also got a side of their garlic aioli which I got to try and it was incredible. I would definitely come back.

I was fully ready to hate on Love Social Cafe, the logo and stuff made me think it was going to be some sort of vegan, granola place where the best I could expect was like soy chorizo and fakin' bacon or something.

What I got instead was a nice cafe that did have granola as a breakfast option but they had other choices as well.

I settled on the breakfast tacos and got chorizo added . My friend got the burrito with avo, both came out to the same cost. I got a Revel Kombucha-they have a taproom down the street but it wasn't open yet.

My order came and for the price I was expecting 3 tacos, but I got two. They were fairly large but after seeing the burrito made me rethink my decision. It's probably just how it's wrapped but the burrito seemed more substantial.

Still the tacos were hefty and filling and a good breakfast fuel up before heading back down.

Coffee is phenomenal, best in Ojai hands down. Service is great. The tacos are not good. The eggs were burnt and smelt terrible.

Love social is a local place where people get coffee, snacks, pastries, and breakfast. It's very simple and low-key. I bring my dog frequently. Weekends in Ohio often inundated with tourists, but Love social remains local. It's not fancy, but it fills the bill and it has that local feeling. Plus I can bring my dog. It has an outside patio.

Was going to be in the area and wanted to grab some easy breakfast and ended up at Love social and I'm so glad I did. They had a great outdoor space for dogs - exactly what I was looking for because I had my pups- and surrounded by so much greenery and butterflies! Placed the order and the drinks and food came out so quickly and you can taste how clean the food was - organic and full of flavor and they don't skimp on avocado! Ended up splitting the breakfast burrito and breakfast tacos both delicious! I did order an iced matcha latte but got a hot one instead but it was easily fixed and I appreciated it. The staff was nice and brought the food to us in the additional outside area and super helpful with whatever we needed. Will be back next time I'm in town.

Love Social Cafe is AWESOME. The owner, Felicia, is a wonderful woman, and she continues to create and nurture a warm, inviting, creative, cool and FUN space to grab a delicious cup of coffee (I personally love their medium roast and espresso), connect, and unwind. Right in the vibrant heart of downtown Ojai! There's even a beautiful garden with a large chalkboard and cozy lounge chairs. How can you not just...love this place?

Damn good mocha! The breakfast tacos and burritos were simple but so tasty! Service was friendly and fast and the courtyard was a lovely place to sit and enjoy a lovely fall morning in Ojai.
