So glad I finally made it here! I've been seeing reviews on it for a bit now, decided to take stroll and stumbled right upon it.. Place is extremely clean (I mean obv it's still new) has a few high top tables w bar stools, perfect for the place.. Menu items are good and decently priced.. We split a small bite since this was the snack after the dinner lol... Decided on the biscuits and sausage gravy with brisket and it was delicious.. Could have had a bit more gravy but I'm one of those people that always loves more sauce/gravy.. Brisket was tender and flavorful but the biscuit was the winner.. Warm, flaky but airy just melt in your mouth..it reminded me of the best biscuit I ever had which is the one my dad makes lol... All in all it was amazing and I'm looking forward to coming back again and trying the entire menu. Would highly recommend...

Ya know what would be the best... If they tossed 2 poached eggs over the biscuits and gravy... MMMMMMM

This is my decadent guilty pleasure place. They have all the best comfort foods put together in one place - what an amazing place! Plus it's reasonably priced.

My favorite items to eat are the mac and cheese, which is made with a Gouda or other sharp, rich and more "funky" tasting cheese than traditional cheddar and the burger, which is perfectly cooked and on super tasty bun with a good garlicy sauce. Their Nosh fries, which come with a sausage gravy, are great as well. Everything on the menu looks so good, but unfortunately I live far enough away that it's a bit of a trek to go up and pick up food (first visit was returning to the subway on a walk of shame-type journey).

The people who I presume to be the owners are very friendly - I've only ordered pickup but they have a couple basic tables in front where you can sit and eat. I'm sure I'd be able to get to know the owners better if I ate in.

I'll note that the hours do seem sporadic and confusing, kind of like our current political climate. Highly recommend calling ahead.

Take out order, burger, nosh fries with sausage gravy on the side in the circular container, mac and cheese in the rectangular container.

We are in Astoria area, and when you're nearby, this is where you have to grab a bite!!! It's my 3rd time here, and I LOVE IT!

When we got here, I got sooo excited , I wanted to order everything. But of course, I don't have a big tummy of to accommodate all Nosh Borough's dishes (thinking their "Dirty Rice", herb-brined roast chicken, grilled corn elotes, Nosh Fries with sausage gravy and poco de gallo anyone). But I finally decided to get my usual order-- the Nosh Burger.
Despite it being absolutely HUGE, Nosh Borough's Nosh Burger is THE BEST. You'll fall in love on your first bite. The melted cheese, crispy yet soft bun, delicious, juicy patty, fresh tomatoes and lettuce, the Nosh Borough makes you SUPER full-- in a GOOD WAY-- that you would want to nap after this meal .

Although we didn't plan on ordering sides, Jen, the super sweet (didn't say sweet enough) owner of this lovely restaurant, presented us with complimentary Nosh Fries and Pumpkin Beignets, which were superb and don't think you can find in any of New York restaurants.

In the end, we left very happy, cravings satisfied, super full (again, in a good way) and I CAN'T WAIT until my next visit.

P.S.: Sweet Jen loves me so much that she gave me some of their homemade green sauce (cilantro and jalapeño sauce) home because it literally goes with everything!

Top notch down home cookin' that will sway your mood directly into comfort mode. The cure for any day, will definitely turn your frown upside down.

The owners/operators of this establishment are always there with a friendly greeting and a smile. The best part about this place is the consistency of their food.

I am extremely fond of their process and approach to food. Its the recipe I enjoy the most. FOOD MADE WITH LOVE!!!

Seasonal rotating menu, but majority are classics or special offerings. I have rounded out this menu, and my favorite 3 things are the burger (crafted to perfection) pico fries, and my most favorite the pot pie.

Was not expecting the food we got here! Went to this place last Saturday for lunch. The storefront and interior decoration does not prepare you for the food you eat here. I had the marinated pork, roasted sweet potatoes, biscuit, and spiced pumpkin beignets.
The pork was extremely tender and packed with savory flavor! It was served in just the right portion with a warm flakey biscuit on the side. The sweet potatoes were melt in your mouth good and had caramelized onions and bits of bacon on top which were also great!
The beignets were light and fluffy!
Would definitely come back here again soon!

We were the only people there around 7, and they unfortunately didn't have any pork left. So, we ordered the special which included 8 chicken wings and fries, the beef brisket wafco, and the nosh fries.

The beef brisket was well cooked, and the taco waffle shell itself was tasty. It was kinda like a waffle cone, except really soggy. It crumbled under the weight of the daikons/etc. The ratio of the brisket to the veggies was like, 1:3, so you could hardly taste the meat.

The nosh fries were yummy. They give you large portions for 6.50, and there are chunks of meat inside the gravy, which made it heartier. The gravy definitely adds, in comparison to the plain fries.

The chicken wings were well done, and together within the special for $10.50, was worth it.

Tasty food, but kinda expensive. Wish the wafco had a better ratio of meet to veggies, and wish the shell could actually contain everything without soggily sliding off. I'd come back, I wouldn't be excited. Very friendly cook/cashier.

It's a hidden gem tucked away in Astoria! It is actually open at 12pm. You can't fool me yelp with these misleading business hours. Foodies will always find their food.

I ordered the Nosh Burger, a side order of their mac n cheese and a soda. First thing that I noticed was the amazing customer service. She smiled and took her time taking my order. Best service that I ever received. The second time that I noticed was that the cook was very thoughtful in the preparation of my meal. This thing came out looking perfect. I was impressed with the food presentation- take a look at the burger and the soda can next to it. The mac n cheese is very good- I do recommend eating it while its hot. The taste diminishes as the cheese gets cool and harden. The food was very tasty- well flavored. The food is a bargain given the prices. When I was finishing my meal- the cook came over and gave me a pumpkin beignet on the house. Ummm....yes! I like ya from the meal, but now I love ya. Another customer got one as well. No special treatment here- just very good service. Good food w/ amazing customer service. I'm now a fan!

Beef brisket wafco is the BOMB! Try it spicy, if you like fresh jalapeno peppers! Also, please do not skip out on the Nosh fries, which comes with gravy and pico de gallo. Trust me you will not regret it & it is worth every single calorie!

We ordered a Nosh Burger, Pulled Pork Wafco, Mac & Cheese, Fries, and Pumpkin Beignets. The food was excellent, and so was the atmosphere!

My burger was cooked perfectly medium-well per my request. The pork in the Wafco was tender, and the veggies & sauce made for a fresh, crunchy sandwich.

I especially loved the fries - they were nicely seasoned, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside.

A cute little place in Astoria. I ordered the beef brisket platter which came with a biscuit and 1 side. At first glance it doesn't look like much but it's a not too bad of a portion size. Brisket was very tender but a little fatty.
The size I chose was the Mac and cheese (based on reviews). It was good, not the gooey cheesy kind of Mac and cheese if that's what you're looking for.
Overall I'd say this is a decent spot based on food and price.
