Are dogs allowed here?

I would think not unless marked service animal. It's an inside food market with tiny aisles. The exterior area is all asphalt. Some of the asphalt or sidewalk area has picnic tables for eating. I don't remember seeing dogs but I might be… more

Not sure where to start?. How do you review this magnificent place?!
Just go there when you're hungry and... EAT!
Eat anything... it's all great.
Sample around. Try different things.
From Italian, to Lebanese, to Indian, to Greek, to Polish (The only Polish food offering in town by the way), to BBQ, to Jeni's, to Sarefino's Pizza, to Belgian waffles, to Katzinger's, ..... and best of all Hot Chicken Takeover the latest addition upstairs.
North Market is the best spot in town where you can sample and fall in love with different ethnic cuisines.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 6, 20241 check-in
Oh I love this market!
There is something for everyone here.
Polish food, Mediterranean food, sushi, ramen, oyster bar, pasta, fried chicken, BBQ, mexican, indian, Somali, Vietnamese....and Coffee!!! Delicious Staufs coffee, btw. Yum
Then there are the shops: fish monger, butchers, bakeries, bread makers, pretzels, cheese, fresh vegetables, flowers, spices, wine, beer.... Oh it goes on and on.
The downstairs is full of venders and people trying to navigate to their favorite destinations... upstairs is Hot Chicken Take over (to the left of staircase) and (on the right) a lot of seating that all over looks the historic market.
Come see what the hype is all about!
Its fun and I bet you find a new favorite place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 23, 2024
This north market is like a miniature scaled fresh food market you can find everywhere in most Europe.
It has foods from various regions and countries, most of them were delicious and authentic except couple. If I stayed in Columbus long enough, I would've tried them all. We had some of the best tasting pretzels, polish stuffed cabbage, Jamaican bowl, Asian style dumplings...
Every spot we visited, the services were decent. The cheese stand was especially friendly and of course we couldn't walk away without some delicious cheese, salami and cheesy lemon cake.
This market can get real busy especially during weekends and meal times. Thats when the upstairs seating area comes in handy for over flow dinners.
There are many parking options near this market.

North Market in Columbus is a food lover's paradise, much like Quincy Market in Boston. It's a bustling warehouse of food venues offering everything you could possibly want, from pasta to Polish, Asian to artisanal cheeses, cupcakes to barbecue.
I recently visited North Market and was blown away by the incredible variety of options. I indulged in the barbecue beef brisket, which was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The housemade coleslaw was the perfect side dish to complement the smoky meat. My friend opted for some delicious Polish pierogies, which were a comforting and flavorful choice.
To top off our amazing meal, we couldn't resist stopping by Jenny's ice cream for a sweet treat on our way out. The ice cream was creamy and decadent, the perfect ending to our food-filled adventure at North Market.
Every bite we had at North Market was out of this world. The flavors, the textures, the aromas - everything was a true culinary delight. If you find yourself in Columbus, do not miss the opportunity to experience the foodie heaven that is North Market. You won't be disappointed!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 2799462470Apr 2, 20241 check-in
This place is truly awesome. There is a lot of really good food in North market.I really enjoyed the pretzels and so many other bites. The vibes and amazing smell it's just one of the many reasons you should definitely visit if you're in the area. I would come with an empty stomach so you can try lots of different things. Don't bother looking for parking because it can be difficult especially on weekends. You can park in the garage and if you buy some thing they validate your ticket so the fee will only be two dollars no matter how long you stay, or at least that's what I was told. I would definitely want to be back.

What a fun place to visit! This market is one of the better downtown markets of this type I've been to. They addressed everything you would want as a patron - somewhere to sit and eat the food you've purchased, and accessible restrooms! There is also a great variety of shops - every type of cuisine and browse-able shops like spices, jewelry, gourmet foods, cheeses, etc.
It was busy on a rainy Saturday night but not unmanageable. As a party of two we were able to find bar top seating upstairs twice.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 10, 2024
A foodie heaven in the heart of Columbus, Ohio!
Heard this was one of the food markets that are popular in Columbus, so of course had to check it out. It's filled with diverse food options that has something for everyone! A few that stood out to me was ramen, momos, artisan cheeses, flowers and so much more! They also have a second floor overlooking the entire market and was filled with lots of seating and tables for people to dine in. There's also another restaurant on the second floor so don't miss checking that out.
I opted for a gyro shawarma plate from Firdous which was a 3/5. Portions were a little small and it was spicy! The staff were super nice and friendly and their store front looks so appealing!
Overall the market is definitely good for the eyes and tummy to feast on with the amount of different options here. Make sure to check it out and do a full walk through of the market before you settle for what you want to eat (or eat it all!).Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Mar 7, 2024
North Market in Columbus Ohio is a great place to visit! Cool vintage building made into a cool eclectic indoor open market. The offerings from local vendors range from Indian to Thai. Barbecue to pizza. Fresh lobster rolls to German cabbage rolls. There is an also a mini grocery, as well as a cute flower shop. Oh and wine too!

I could spend all day in here. I had the breakfast bagel sandwich which was really good with fresh ingredients, Jeni's ice cream which was sooo good (gooey butter cake and bramble berry crisp) and the dumplings. The variety of food is enough to appeal to everyone and the workers were all very nice! The place was well kept with each stand having its own personality

I love this place!! One of the best food markets I've been to. So many food vendors from all different cultures--not enough space in my tummy and time to try it all! There's something for everyone (bagels, fried chicken, momos, seafood, pasta, pizza, curry, perogies, pastries, tea, juice, ice cream, and so much more!!). I ordered from a few vendors and was pleased with all of them!
There is also ample seating upstairs, so you can sit and really enjoy your food and people watch. The lively ambience is contagious. North Market is a must if you're visiting Columbus!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 9, 2023Updated review
12/2/23 update: I saw some newer restaurants here. They're doing construction so it can be a little difficult going to the back entrance from the convention center. You'll have to go in from the front.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Nov 8, 2023Previous reviewI love this place. A multitude of different ethnic food and snacks. There is literally something for everyone here no matter how picky you are. Prices won't break the bank. You get a generous amount of food. I like to grab different kinds of food to try out.
