So as we were traveling through the Beautiful Seaside towns we stumbled across Grapeview, Washington. We actually didn't visit this establishment but since I couldn't find anything close to the pictures that I took and wanted to share, so others could see how beautiful it is there. I promise on our FUN-venture that I will make sure that I visit here but until then enjoy the pictures.

We came here the other day for a cone for my son, and we were fairly happy with our visit.
There was not a lot of stopping spots on the way that seemed really kid friendly until we came to this place, and so we stopped. The ice cream was a little of the spendy side, just a little.
The part that threw me off a little, was that it was $1 to have the cone dipped, but then they also charged almost .50c to add sprinkles, so it kind of felt like we were being nickel and dimed, I didn't mind paying $1 for it to be dipped, but I really think that light sprinkles should be included when you upgrade to the dipped cone, but then again, it is a small town, so I know that they have to make a living somehow.
Everyone here was so friendly, and really made us feel welcomed, so we will make sure to stop here again.
I really hope that we can come back as a family to rent some Kayaks.
I think that this place is in connections with the Allyn house Inn, so we will have to look into the cost of staying a night too, glad that we found this place.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Jeffrey S.Seattle, WA436458519Feb 20, 2014
This is a funky little place. Across the street from Lennard K's Boat House - NBK&K boasts 28 flavors of homemade ice cream. Most of which is a bit pricey (even for Seattle prices). But really hits the spot on hot saltwatery days after sailing around the Key Peninsula.
Unfortunately, the first time I'd been here my friend and I opted for the house specialty ice cream during one of their local festivals. That being the Allyn, WA Geoduck Festival. Yeah, you got it. Geoduck ice cream in both a lemon chiffon and a lime sorbet.
"Yum...mm....ck. Yuck, yuck, yuck. Omg, pfft, pffft, pffffftttttttt!"
I'm not sure what genius thought this was a good idea.
But without describing it using verbs for fear of getting nauseous (again), let's just say it's a real surprise. Everyone should be forced, I mean 'encouraged' to try it. Not just because I'm a sadistic SOB and like watching the looks on people's faces once the fishy taste kicks in 3-5 minutes after the citrus flavor wears off. But like all things that go into our mouths, you just can't have good without having bad to compare it to. Apathy vs Empathy. Yin vs Yang. Geoduck Ice Cream vs everything else on the planet ever eaten by Humans since the dawn of time. Including everything ever shown on Adam Zimmern's show. Yeah, it's THAT good.
So grab a seat on the patio. Relax. Order coffee and one of their regular flavored ice creams. Wait for the kids to exit running out of there crying their little eyes out, spitting out geoduck ice cream. It's the best show going on for miles.
As an aside, I love geoduck. Sushi, sashimi, Chinese-style sautéed, Korean style, Vietnamese, Spanish. Even geoduck chowder. And I love ice cream. But please, for the love of all that is holy...I think this is what the ancient Romans had in mind when they stated no dairy with fish. Okay, geoduck is not technically a fish. But still.
Humor aside, the other ice creams are DELICIOUS!! I know this because we bought two each to get rid of the geoduck flavor.
So go at it dear readers. Try their geoduck ice cream. I double-dog dare you. Everything else will taste awesome after that.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Tiana F.McCleary, WA6716911Aug 7, 2014
5 stars across the board!!
Yummy ice cream flavors, decent prices $2 average for a cup of ice cream, we got mega cones for $5 and a sundae for $3. The ladies that worked there were absolutely wonderful! Such sweethearts. We brought our dogs outside and she went out there spoons of ice cream for them. Definitely going to be my new ice cream place. Also kayak prices are really cheap too :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Whitney G.Seattle, WA71267Sep 1, 2014
First of all, great price for a few days worth of kayaking. Everyone there was super friendly, knowledgable and helpful. A nice, older man, who I'm assuming was the owner, helped load us up and gave good pointers before we headed out. Beautiful location right on the water! You can push out right from their beach though we did not. They also have a lot of ice cream which we will have to enjoy next time we go.
