I have been going to many different gynecologists over the past 40 years and I have to say that Dr Korman is one of the very best that I have seen! She and the entire staff are efficient, on time, friendly, kind and professional. Dr Korman reads women well, explains things with respect to your intelligence, is kind and gentle. I wish that I had found her years ago!

Extremely unprofessional!! I definitely do NOT recommend, all of my questions were left unanswered, I felt extremely judged by both the doctor and medical assistant and did not feel comfortable enough to continue asking questions. Please look for another clinic I do not recommend this sad excuse of a clinic, ESPECIALLY if you are a younger woman, they do not take your concerns seriously.

I saw Dr. Greenberg to get a second opinion on whether I should go ahead with a surgery to diagnose endometriosis, and whether she might be the right person to do that surgery. When I made the appointment, I explained that my insurance won't pay for anything coded fertility, and asked if a discussion about endometriosis surgery would be coded as an initial consultation or surgery consultation, which my insurance would cover. They assured me it would.
The Dr. spent less than 20 minutes with me. She didn't seem to be listening very well to what I was asking and jumped to talking about IVF, even though that was not what I was there to talk about. About the surgery, she basically said we don't know that much about endometriosis, its your call whether to do the surgery, I could do it for you if you want. She also questioned why I had taken the time to get a second opinion instead of just letting the first doctor I saw do the (expensive and invasive) surgery!! I learned very little from this visit.
A month later, I got a bill for $500 (reduced to $360 by insurance contract). The visit was coded as a 60 minute complex/comprehensive fertility visit. I called to ask why it was billed as fertility when it was primarily about endometriosis surgery, and why it was called 60 minutes when the doctor spent less than 20 minutes with me. The answer: because that's how the Dr coded it, so please pay up.
In sum: Dr Greenberg didn't listen well to what I was there for, gave me almost no helpful information, and then billed me as if she had spent a full hour thoroughly delving into my concerns. I do not recommend.
PS: In case this sounds like just how it goes with health care, I should note that I got a third opinion from an endometriosis specialist who talked with me for more than 20 minutes, gave me lots of information about endometriosis in general, my situation in particular, and the surgery options, and coded the whole thing as a surgery consultation, which my insurance paid for.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 18231556Jul 26, 2016
The facility is very clean and well staff. The two front desk ladies are very nice and friendly.
Personally I see Dr Wendy Vannoy. She is amazing! She is a naturopathic doctor who specialized in women's health. She is extremely professional and practical. Highly recommend this clinic and Dr Vannoy.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lindsey G.Portland, OR10942418May 1, 2020
Had an appointment a few months back. Called and asked them prior to making my appointment that my insurance covered the visit for birth control, and the lady making my appointment stated my insurance will cover the visit/birth control. I proceeded to make the appointment, and asked on the phone while making the appointment if I would be able to get the procedure done the same day which at that point she said yes. I had already spoken to my primary provider about birth control options on 2 different occasions prior to my visit to Synergy Women's Health Care, which I stated on the phone to the receptionist while making the appointment. I arrived for my appointment and upon arrival the nurse stated I was going to have a consultation first prior to having the procedure done, which was completely the opposite of what I was told from the receptionist that took my initial call for my appointment. I had to leave work for 3 hours this day, to go over something I already went over with my primary care provider. I proceeded with the consultation and told the doctor I just wanted to get the procedure done and there was nothing I needed to discuss with her. She said unfortunately I will need to make a 2nd appointment in order to make that happen, after wasting 3 hours of my day taking time off work. I proceeded to make the 2nd appointment, which at that point they said they would be booked for up to a month out. I then asked to see a different doctor in order to get in sooner. I then booked the 2nd appt with doctor Sheryl Horwitz a week later- which caused me to request an additional 3 hours of time I had to request from my employer for the 2nd appointment. Less than 24 hours before my scheduled appointment I received an call/email from Synergy staying that my insurance would not cover the birth control or visit and I would have to pay around $900 out of pocket for the procedure. Which is complete false information I received from the receptionist. I then proceeded to cancel my appointment and shortly after received a bill in the mail for $110 for the visit- that did absolutely nothing for me. They lied and said my insurance would cover my visit and then billed me back for the visit. I would have never booked with them if I knew my insurance would not cover my visit. I did not pay the bill, as I was given false information, and should receive a full refund, as the cost of my lost time far exceeds the costs of the bill I received. My visit was on 11/26/19, and they didn't process my insurance until 2/11/20, and then sent me a revised bill for $81.27. The whole thing is sketchy. I would definitely NOT recommend this place for your health care needs, as this place will try and take advantage of you!

I can no longer see my Gynecologist of about 2 years because they decided to stop taking my OHP insurance (FamilyCare). This was not communicated to me by their office in any way. I kept calling to make an appointment and was told repeatedly that my referrals were not coming through. So I called the nurse at my PCPs office and she said that I had enough referrals for 25 visits.
The nurse ended up calling this clinic to see what the issue was and they told her that they were no longer accepting my insurance. Again THIS WAS NEVER COMMUNICATED TO ME.
Completely unprofessional and now I have to find a new doctor.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lisa H.Portland, OR4811949Apr 29, 2017
This is specific to Sheryl Horowitz, WHNP. I have been seeing Sheryl for years for my annual gynecological exams/needs and I have to say that she is extremely knowledgeable, professional, as well as warm, friendly and personable.
I can't recommend her enough.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kirkland K.San Diego, CA7118Jun 22, 2018
Dr. Laura Greenberg is a highly respected physician. Her practice runs paperless to show respect for the earth. She is capable, sweet, kind and thorough. Dr. Greenberg's knowledge of hormones, stages of life, surgery, preventive health and integrative health is impressive. Other physicians refer to her with confidence. I trust Laura Greenberg with my life.

Hoping to save other women from horrible experiences by writing this. I urge you to stay away from Dr. Greenberg. I saw her once and she was the most unprofessional condescending doctor I've come across in my life. Just don't go to this clinic. Seriously.
