You can ask them to double check but I did not see any halal signs in the restaurant nor did the menu suggested so. Hope this helps.

This place has been soooooo good to me! I've been coming here for years and love it! The staff are really friendly and the food is amazing! Some of my favorite dishes include the Thai basil fried rice, pad thai, pad see ew, and their Tom kha soup. Very fairly priced as well.

I have been coming here since 2020. Food always delicious and high quality. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. Place is nice and clean.
When I look for business on Yelp I always give a try and experience myself so I can tell. Thai Chaiyo is always the best for me.
      Easy parking too.

Me: "how did you find this place?"
      Him: "saw it on IG"
      Me thinking: "Sus..."
      ...
Great ad campaign but food.. not impressive (quite disappointing)
Him: "I should've known it wasn't going to be good when we first stepped in and didn't see Asians.."
      ...
I tried looking up the history/description of this place. Thinking maybe the flavor is different because it was from a different region of Thailand... but couldn't find anything.
      ..
The Pad Kee Mao was too saucy when we are more used to it being dry and on the basil-y side.

Tom Khả soup was too salty with huge chucks of tomatoes? Not used to that. Flavor was ok but a bit too salty.

Their special roasted duck in red curry had good flavor to the curry, but the duck had a weird taste to it. And I wish the dish had come with rice because it was way too salty otherwise. It didn't so we had to order our own side of rice...

Overall, pretty disappointed in the food.

I found out about this place from my Instagram feed and looked promising. Being a foodie and a Yelp-er, I must check this out. This is a small mom-and-pop business place within a plaza. It's clean, dimmed light and has cute traditional Thai decors. I think this place is well known for take-out as it was empty when we get to the restaurant. Our server was nice and she started us off with our drinks. When I checked-in Yelp, it offers free Thai ice tea. So both me and my friend checked-in in Yelp only to be told they only honor one free thai tea per table. This is a first that I heard of; so if everyone on the table have yelp, they will honor only one per table. Anyways, we decided to order:
CHX TOM KHA: 3/10; Ive never had a very diluted Thai coconut soup. It was so diluted that you could not even taste the coconut. We ordered a large size and portion Comes with 6 thinly sliced chicken, a few mushroom and carrots. (I had wayyyy better) tom kha.
BEEF AMBER PANANG & BASIL: 5/10. Doable but again, I had better. This entree' comes with rice.
SHRIMP FRIED RICE: 7/10; comes with 4 medium size shrimps.
Bear in mind that every meat that you add on your meal is additional $2 and I think $4 for seafood. We also ordered 4 sticky rice with mango ($10.98) for take out. 9/10. Mango was ripe and sticky rice was cooked well. I love love thai food but my whole experience from this place was disappointing (sorry). I had better Thai food and wouldn't mind paying $125 (inflation) for this size of meal. Unfortunately, I wont be coming back here.

Ps: You don't need reservation as i was told when i called-in to verify if reservations needed

I'm so happy discovering this super yummy Thai restaurant. They decorate the dishes so beautifully with fresh flowers. They also make their food fresh with no MSG.

      Highlights of the menu:
      1. Thai tea sunset
      2. Chaiyo chicken - specialty dish
      3. Thai fish cake
      4. Coconut shrimp
      5. Grilled shrimp salad
      6. Tom yum - lemongrass and lime broth
      7. Pad see ew - sweet black bean and large rice noodles
      8. Roasted duck in red curry

Amazing service, super quick and friendly.

CHAIYO CHICKEN at @thaichaiyotogo is BOMB!

It was love at first bite! This chicken is nicely crispy fried to perfection with a sauce full of umami ! It's nice, sweet and tangy. Loved it!

Service is amazing. It's small yet warm because of the owner, Maple. She is super sweet and fantastic. She makes any space feel delightful and welcomed.

The menu is plentiful with many Thai favorites. I enjoyed Pad Thai, Pad Ke Mao, Pad Se Ew, Thai Chili Chicken, Pineapple Red Curry, Chaiyo Crispy Chicken, Pineapple Fried Rice, Chicken Satay, Chive Rice Cake, Fish Cake, Coconut Shrimp and much more.

Also you gotta try the Thai Tea Sunrise. It's a mix of Thai Tea without the cream with Lemonade! I loved it!

My boyfriend happened to find this little gem, and I'm so glad he did!

First off, I absolutely love to find those quaint spots that are tucked away in a strip mall or off the beaten path!

The service was warm and attentive the moment we walked in. The spot is small, but has seating both in and outside. The decor is quirky, and comfortable to enjoy, so make sure to look around. The music selection was soothing and the volume was not overbearing.

The food was incredible! We were served within a timely manner, and the meals were fresh and hot. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! I can't wait to dine here again and try out more of the menu!

Amazing food and customer service! Came here on a weekday night to spend some time with loved ones over dinner. We were looking for a good local Thai spot and chose Thai Chaiyo Tustin.

Their location is in the same plaza as other shops and businesses so getting a parking spot is very easy given the big lot.

The restaurant itself is on the smaller side but they were able to accommodate myself and 6 of my family members. Our waitress was very nice and super friendly to my niece and nephew.

I ordered the tofu panang curry and my husband ordered the Pad Kee Mow. We were impressed with the taste and quality of our dishes and heard similar compliments from my family on their food as well.

For dessert we ordering mango sticky rice for the table. The mango was very sweet and was the perfect ending to our meal. Looking forward to coming back!

This hole-in-the-wall is a hidden gem, and the perfect spot for scoring an amazing lunch deal!

Can't go without a Thai tea, and they have something called the Thai sunset which is actually a mix of Thai tea and lemonade and comes out so pretty.

The owner suggested the Marinated chicken satay to start which is so tender and packs a punch when paired with the peanut sauce.

And the sheer artistry of their Chaiyo chicken...immaculate!

If you were to get one dish and one dish only, make it the Bell pepper bamboo basil chicken swimming in a spiced coconut milk curry. It's such a heartwarming dish and loaded with flavor.

Their Pad Thai is one of the best I've had in a long time, and paired with the crispy pork belly which I haven't seen anywhere else do this!

The hospitality, service, and food at this spot is a 10/10 experience for me!

      Thanks for reading! ^-^

      Updated review

I took a family friend to join me for the Khan Toke meal today and enjoyed it immensely. The food here is excellent as usual. I want to thank the owners of Thai Chaiyo for having a shrine for those of us that participate in the water blessing. I got to give a blessing to my late wife Jen who loved coming to this restaurant with me and past ancestors. I also asked for a blessing for family and friends that are still living. We appreciated the beautiful fruit plate that you made for her after she had her breast cancer surgery back in July. Unfortunately, her health declined and she was not able to come back to eat at your restaurant which is a family favorite. We did feel her presence with us today, Thank you for making the shrine available for those of us who participate in the Songkran ceremonies. You have a loyal customer for life, here.
