Nicky's makes great pizza. We place an order for a bar/lounge in Agawam every Friday night. Place is usually crowded which means every piece of 2 party size pizzas are gone...quickly.
Highly recommend this place.

OKAY, so the five stars wouldn't be about ambiance. But it's about EVERYTHING ELSE that is more important! Give me tablecloths and fine china with moderately good food, and I will RUN to Nicky's Pizza every time, even with their vintage tables and modest decor. It's clean and comfortable enough. So...
First of all, the food is incredibly delicious and memorble. The pizza sauce is so amazing I want to go back for all of their pasta dishes. Everything is homemade, and I think they must be hiding an Italian grandmother back there somewhere, cooking up an authentic savory storm. The crust is fabulous, including their cauliflower crust. No pizza in the area even comes close to being this good on quality products (NO CANOLA EVER), taste, and preparation.
Second, we tried the homemade clam chowder. Wow. If this is the example of New England chowder, it ROCKS.
Third, this place gives family-owned and family-run a good name. Nicky hires his family. Tony, his son, and the spokesperson at the counter, couldn't be friendlier or more efficient. You feel like family even as a customer. He will chat, but his eye is always scanning, making sure every order is perfect. And by the time he introduced me to Giani, Pat, Enzo and problably someone i missed (maybe that grandmother), I was sure it was a happy family. It says something about a man whose relatives want to work with him.
We haven't indulged in fried pickles, poutain, fried dough, or much else--but we will. I don't know why, other than the 8 mile drive, I don't go here more, but I will now that I have re-visited and recalled how good it all is--and very affordable!
They only deliver in Agawam and Feeding Hills--not Enfield sadly, and they only take cash, so we imagine that is one reason their prices have stayed so low.
Try Nicky's Pizza. It's a hands-down winner.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Jul 11, 2019Previous reviewMy friends clued me in that Nicky's Pizza has cauliflower crust pizza now. Wow! What a find. I ordered a Margarita personal size pizza and it was better than any I have had yet.
Even though Nicky's is 7 miles from home, it is kind of on my way to and from things I do--so I will now put it on my list, when I am out doing errands.
Kudos to this avant garde local eatery for catching onto the trend and making it affordable. I will be back. And, now that I know how good their food is, I will try their rather vast menu for a pizza place--clam strips, soups, salads, and lots more.
My only concern is they do use Canola as a frying oil--but they have a vegetable oil that is NOT Canola I can request, and they are very accomodating and caring. I had three people perusing labels and listening. Good job! Just have to ask. - R P.Phoenix, AZ32163572Apr 20, 2024Updated review

Feb 18, 2024Previous reviewKeep in mind, this place is cash only but they do have an in the restaurant. We stop here for a bite to eat since we're new to the neighborhood.
The food was pretty good and decently price. We will definitely will be coming back.
Update: we did a party size pizza and it was great, there was plenty of food leftover. This looks to be one of our new spots. - Alexis K.Spencer, MA01Apr 20, 2024
went to six flags and wanted something local instead of spending a arm and leg on six flags food. the second we walked in we just knew the food was going to be amazing. i got a single slice of pizza it was $3.50 and oh god it was absolutely amazing. nothing could prepare us for the size of this slice. got the mac bites and salad, it was all delicious and cheap. 10/10 would recommend. definitely will be coming back.

Excellent pizza. I couldn't believe the size of the large. It was enough to feed 7 of us. Absolutely delicious. Customer service was great, everyone was very friendly. We are outside at the picnic table. I would definitely recommend Nicky's!

Why have I not ordered here before? This place is one of the best pizza places in the area. I got the small Hawaiian cheese pizza, a large chicken parm grinder, and a side of fries. The pizza was very cheesy (just the way I like it) and the small was a very generous size. I also like how the crust and bottom wasn't burnt (I don't know why I tend to get burnt ones from local pizza places). The chicken parm grinder was also generously filled with meat and cheese. The crispy side of fries tasted delicious and was still hot by the time we ate it at home. The best part about this place is that it's also inexpensive and quick! I will definitely become a regular here.

Like others my family just finished our day at Six Flags and were ready to head home to Maine. My wife wanted pizza and I wasn't interested in the sauce covered overpriced cardboard you get at the amusement park. A quick search of area restaurants and I saw Nicky's with great reviews. Took the wife and 2 young kids (8 and 10), and ordered a couple of large pizzas. The pleasant woman at the counter showed me the size of the large and I was amazed and appreciated her insight as it would have been way more than we would have needed. The small pizzas were as big as a large most places and the kids half and half cheese and pepperoni, the bacon with white sauce for the wife, and my pastrami grinder were superb. While we waited there was a steady stream of customers who were greeted like family and quickly taken care of. I wish we lived closer so I could try more of the menu. Best beleive I'll be back next time I'm in the area!

The pizza is good here. The best thing to order is the individual slices they are HUGE! always a fun time to go with the kids and see their faces when you hand them the slice!
