Everything on this plate is a MUST, but that sauce that comes with it is the real GAME changer! The sweetness from the onions and savory-ness from the soy sauce concoction makes every DIP very satisfying!

A good deal with the amount of food you get!!

I saw this restaurant on TikTok and decided to check it out! I ordered the number one on their menu
"cơm gà chiên 1/2 con + trứng," it was really delicious. The dish comes with pickled veggies, but I decided to get their salad instead!

The chicken was hot and crunchy, and the sauce was delicious! The restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere, and all the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating!

The total came to about $48.68, which was reasonable considering I ordered four servings of the chicken and rice, and my family enjoyed it! We plan to return to try their other dishes soon! :)

OK this is a no frills place to eat that reminds some of us of home cooking.

The only thing I get here is what they are known for. No it's no longer $1.99 it is like $10 something but inflation right?

The only thing that bothered me a little
Is the fan lighting because the fans move and the light keeps moving so it really does feel like you're at someone's house.

But the food is solid. Came out freshly cooked, hot,
And the pickled veggies were fresh. The onion sauce whatever that is, is magic. If you like this sauce you will come back for it.

Sometimes you just want to eat something that is home cooked and isn't overly dressed up. Is this a place you take your first date? Probably not but my husband and I consider this a go to spot in our rotation.

Still one of my favorite spots for a simple comfort dish. Yes, it does cost about $11. No, they do not provide free water, everything must be bought. But regardless of everything, this dish still tastes the same after 20 years of eating here.

FYI- this place does not take any cards... got me frustrated when I had a big order Togo... supporting small business like this is a "NO" if you know what I mean!

Delicious Vietnamese rice plates! No frills, just great food. Ordered the Cornish hen + the bbq pork plate. Both came with rice, egg, & pickled veggies. The Cornish hen was fried to perfection with a great crispness. The bbq pork was very flavorful. The place looks a.l bit dated, but was clean. The servers were very kind. FYI, the Yelp page says they accept credit cards, but we didn't see a card reader. Luckily I had enough cash for the meal. They have a large parking lot in the plaza. Will definitely come back if I want something simple and satisfying!

Came in for the chicken and rice. The sauce is where it is at. They had a promo that day and it was 1.99 for chicken rice with the drink. It was a long wait we waited about 1 hour. I think that the chicken was a little dry. Coffee was sweet. Would come back to try other dishes when it's not as busy

I used to come here as a kid for their com ga chien, and it is just as good as I remember! The sauce is AMAZING. I wish I knew what was in it so that I could make it myself. It goes so well with the chicken and rice. Pour some sauce on the rice, and dip the chicken in the sauce as you eat it! I wish the pickled veggies were a tad bit more sour, but they go really well with the meal! I called to order ahead, and when I arrived a few minutes later (~15 minutes) it was already ready! Note: this place is cash only.

This place tastes just as good as it did when I was a kid.

Five stars just for the Com Ga. I usually don't get anything else because I come here just for that.

The red rice is so good. Simple but delicious. The chicken is good too and I love the flavor on the skin. The sauce is EVERYTHING- there is no sauce as good as this one. I love that it also comes with an egg now too. Definitely not $1.99, but I feel like it's still a decent price compared to any other restaurant now.

Sometimes the chicken is bigger than others, but still good nonetheless. We always come back for more!
