My city and food tour of Nashville was with Evan. We started and ended on time, which I like. Evan was a great tour guide because he was kind, knowledgeable about Nashville and provided background information on the foods we ate. The tour goers were able to ask him further questions and he knew the answers to those questions as well. I really enjoy knowing about the cities I visit so Evan was really able to contribute to that.
I highly recommend this tour and encourage you to book it at the beginning of your trip so you can take Evans' suggestions and add it to your itinerary for an even better time; that's what I did and I am very pleased :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 11, 2023
We had an amazing tour with Scott who is a font of knowledge and weaved an amazing story of the intersection of country music and Nashville's early years. We got to taste all of the classics- hot chicken, smoked BBQ, mini donuts and the Bushwhacker drink which was more like dessert. Scott knows so much about music and is a musician himself. We wanted to hear him sing but unfortunately the timing didn't work. It's a reason to come back! Highly recommend you ask for Scott if that's an option.

We started our time in Nashville with this food tour. It started at the far better distillery, which is a cute little place with a distillery set up that looked like a high school. Chemistry lab. But what came out of it was amazing. Ended up buying some of the mocha, Java and the chocolate cherry Moonshine as well as the orange blossom whiskey. After a short van ride, we arrived at Martin's barbecue, where we were probably seated and had a delicious rib and brisket and hush puppy. Everything was delicious and when you walked into the place it had the perfect smoke smell. The next step was for a cookie which was delightful, and then another short, then ride over to Centennial Park for some hot chicken. The only not great food we had was the last stop for distillery donuts. The donut didn't taste fresh. Evan was our van driver and tour guide. He was great, can't say enough good things about him he really really brought the city to life. Highly recommend this tour to anybody who comes to Nashville

As with any tour the guide makes all the difference, our guide Scott Hinds was the best. A wealth of knowledge about so many aspects of the city.
But calling it a food tour is a stretch. We did stop at a rib place and hot chicken place which were great. But the other three stops were questionable, started at a cookie spot (why start there), stopped at a pie shop and ended up at a distillery where we got samples of liquors. Could have used more food.
If it wasn't for Scott, it would have been a bust and I would have rated it 2 stars.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ashley W.Royal Oak, MI876Jun 25, 2023

Red was great!! Took us to the non-tourist/local spots for distillery, hot chicken, chocolate, cookies, and BBQ. Great way to see the city, she did a great job giving us the story on all the historical spots we passed along the way. Highly recommended!!

What a fabulous excursion with Scott! Wow! This guy knows the history of Nashville and it's music. He entertained us with many fascinating stories of people and events. We were introduced to many areas of Nashville we had never seen before although we have been here many times. Scott's friendly personality and passion for his City shined through the entire time we were together. He was inspirational and funny! Great day tasting local food. Highly recommend and we will do it again.

This was a fun adventure. Not the best if you are looking for a true "Food Tour." We made a few stops along the way - the BBQ joint was great. Actually a good tasting and size. Cookie was good, but kind of silly. The Hot Chicken was good and seemed a local favorite. There was more site seeing and talk of culture than actual food. Our Guide; Scott Hinds was very good however!! He made it more interesting and entertaining while driving around neighborhoods.
