Stopped by here to enjoy a quick bite and flight. This is way off the beaten path but a cute little spot to stop by on the way back to DC. Had the mixed flight and it was decent. I had a glass of the sweetest white but can't remember the name. I also enjoyed a Turkey sandwich :)
Checked in on Yelp and got 15% off my total check. Alex - the manager made sure I received it :)Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 123164Jul 8, 2023
We had a wonderful time here for my mother in laws 80th birthday. We rented the sun room for 3 hours and brought our own catered food from Wegmans. It was such a nice space and accommodated our party of 30 people. The Naked Mountain staff was awesome - friendly and accommodating. Wine was delicious.

The whole crew at naked mountain are fantastic! They're a big reason we're still members! Their wine list never disappoints. Bring everyone you know to drink naked!

CHECK-IN ON YELP for 15% off.
WINE: Self-Guided Flight was $10 for 7 samples.
Favorites:
2019 Chardonnay/Riesling $28 was an amazing combination which was crisp with a sweet finish.
Soar V Non-vintage 'solera' style port $38 tasted like bourbon soaked cherries. It reminded me of the Luxardo brandied cherries you use in an Old Fashioned.
Worst wine:
2019 Unoaked Chardonnay tasted like straight vinegar I winced and then spit.
FOOD: I would not recommend ordering any of the food items and would bring your own food instead.
Focaccia $8 which came out cold and was a very small loaf. I asked for it to be toasted and it was microwaved but that was better than cold focaccia.
Aged White Cheddar (3oz) $6.50 was sharp with a crumbly salty texture, pretty solid.
Salami (2 oz) $6 was sliced, spicy cured meat, just ok.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar (2oz) was a large portion in containers, we ended up taking it with us so we wouldn't waste any.
"Base Weight" Panini $12
Black forest ham, salami, prosciutto, provolone, and mayo
*very thin small sandwich which was pressed regular bread on a panini press, extremely poor value for $12.
AMBIANCE:
There was live music on the deck but it was very loud and most of the tables were occupied or reserved so we opted to sit inside which had a log cabin feel. The vineyard itself was not very pretty or appealing but I did enjoy the bottle of port that we purchased. I would come back if I was in the area and was in a port wine mood.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Mar 8, 2021
For COVID, this winery has pre-set tasting flights for red, white, or a mix. They use small plastic cups as shown in the photo. The pours were the smallest of any of the wineries I've been to in the area.
The inside of the winery was set up with socially distanced tables, but it also had quite a few bugs (alive and dead) hanging out on all of the window sills around the room and next to the tables, which was a little gross. I think I would be nervous to order food from here, but the wine was decent!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kay B.Winchester, VA023Nov 21, 2023
The atmosphere is warm and the people there are very nice and friendly. The wines are great and have a variety of dry and semi sweet. I have been a member for several years now. Very happy with the service I receive when I visit which is several times a month.

For 25 years I have been enjoying Naked Mountain wines. In particular, their Chardonnay. Service is spectacular. Snacks are good. Wines are typical of Virginia. You either appreciate the terroir or you don't. The current set up is a real improvement over the old barn. Still, I loved the early days. Buy a shirt, Drink Naked. Be h
