Had a issue with the AC. Made an appt and they said trip charge could be rolled over into cost for fixing issue if we got it fixed. They pulled a bait a switch. Charged $95 for the trip charge and an additional $200 for the "service". Jonathan Caso was the tech. He said it was a "capacitor issue". He actually just flipped the breaker inside. It took 10 min to " fix" and the part is less than $15. So, he said the cost was $295 ($200 for "service" and $95 for trip charge). The company lied. We would not have scheduled the appt if the cost of the trip charge wasn't rolled into the cost of fixing the item. Charging $200 for a $15 capacitor that takes less than 10 min to install is crazy. Will eat the cost of the overpriced repair. But shouldn't have to eat the cost of the trip charge...again the company lied.

Called owner. He yelled at me, screamed racial slurs and said the cost was the cost now fuck off. The company is shady and racist. Dont understand why he felt the need to use racial slurs. We paid so that they would leave.

Basically when setting up for someone to come out to fix our AC unit they said it was a $95 trip charge that can ultimately go into the cost of repairs once they find out what is wrong with it. Today when the guy "Jonathan" came out the tune was very different. They came inside and had me turn on the unit, then they went outside and said that the capacitor was bad. It looked very good as there was no bubbling on the capacitor what so ever. They replaced the capacitor and said it was $200. So a $30 part costs $200 once 20 minute labor is applied. But here is the kicker. They said the total bill was $295 because we had to pay for diagonostic fee. When we set up the appointment the nice lady said it would roll over into the repair bill but now (today) $95 is just the cost of telling the customer what is wrong and will not be applied to the cost of repair. At some point of the conversation the technition stated " I got to feed my family". So jacking up prices to hard working people is a way to feed your family? I suggest that you do not use NAIL Heating and Air as they will bait and switch the diagnostic charge as it will not roll over toward the cost of repairs.
We are on a do not service list and they are on a do not use list as they will rip you off. The actual price of the 40-5 capacitor is $28.

Very professional & friendly staff, at fair prices. They were very responsible to give me a quote and set appointment for new installation. Great communication from dispatch to let me know techs were on the way, and sending me information on the maintenance plans.
Marty & Geo were very polite and knowledgeable in answering all my questions. Installation was efficient, and no mess. Highly recommend, and will continue doing business with them for scheduled maintenance :)

I can't say enough good about Nail Heating & A/C. I've used them for the last several years for a maintenance plan, but recently had new furnace and a/c units installed. Every contact with them from ladies in the office to service techs is more than pleasant. They are very responsive and make you feel like part of their 'family.'

When it was determined I needed a new unit, I got timely info from Steven - very responsive to emails - and he recommended the size unit that should have been in my house all along - a size up from the one my builder installed - and I could not be more pleased. I can already tell a WORLD of difference.

Most recently, Geoffrey and Jeremy were the ones who install new units last week. They were on time and things were done in a very efficient manner. They made sure I understood everything about new units and cost before they left. I really can't imagine using anyone besides Nail Heating & A/C. VERY highly recommended!

Had these Great guys come out yesterday to replace my furnace. Had been using another company that was in my opinion continuously ripping me off. These guys did an outstanding job! The furnace was exactly what was needed and the install was impeccable (Duct Work). They went over and beyond and the price beat every competitor in town! Thanks to Dean for getting this done so quickly and thanks Chris and Blake for an outstanding install!

All I can say is, Wow! Upstairs A/C stopped working on Friday AM, called Nail when we noticed around lunch, had the Nail repairman, Zach, here by dinner and he had the A/C working by 7:00PM. I mean, can anybody do better that that? If only it were free...

Major kudos to Nail and major thanks to Zach.

Before you hire anyone else for your HVAC needs, make sure you call Nail Heating & Air. I've done business with these guys for years. They're polite, professional, and I've seen them beat their northern competitor prices by as much as 40%. The fellow that comes to service my family's home always remembers and greets everyone by name.

The company owner serves on the local Habitat for Humanity board, and the company itself remains involved with several community improvement efforts.

Our condensate drain line appeared clogged as water was coming through the vents. I called Nail and within an hour we had a service technician (Steven) at the house looking into the problem. It was a bit more complicated than just a clogged line but Steven resolved all issues and potential issues. This is my third time using Nail and each time they have been fantastic. A must call if you have A/C issues.

The only reason I left 1 star is because you have to give this joint some kind of rating. My rating is a BIG, FAT ZERO. These clowns came to my house to fix my upstairs air flow because some of the pipes were not attached. Well, long story short - they NEVER fixed the problem. When I called them to complain nothing had been fixed - OMG - how rude can someone be? Steve Nail - who is the owner - threw an insult at me then hung up the phone. When I called back, because of caller ID, they refused to answer the phone.
Nail Hearing & Air in Hampton, GA is a fly by night operation who have no intention of standing behind their work - if that's what you want to call it. For good, reliable service, call Deason Heating & Air in Hampton. Courteous staff who stand BEHIND their work

Nail Heating and Air in Henry County was asked to diagnose an air conditioner problem at our house and let us know if the repair would be over $300. Instead they did not diagnose, and simply put $333 worth of Freon in our air conditioner( how even?!?), which then totally leaked out within 24 hours. When confronted with their poor service, they gave us a "complimentary" visit to confirm the leak, which I found himself after their first visit. They agreed that the leak I found was the root cause, and then said it would be $596 more to fix in addition to the $333 they already charged us for 24 hours of Freon (not to mention the environmental hazard they created by filling a leaking system!). I told them we did not need their assistance anymore, and found another company who did the total repair and Freon refill for 150 bucks. Stay away from Nail heating and air, they are a dishonest short cutting company
