Ambiance-good. Service- been waiting nearly an hour for food so far. In the 1-2pm hour. Seen waitress only once thus far. Found out our order was skipped over. Got some fries at 58 minutes, very good. Still waiting for Reubens. At the 1:01 sandwiches delivered. Rueben is atypical yet tasty. No sauerkraut but coleslaw on Rueben. Mine had Pastrami on it not corned beef. Tasty but not what I was looking for. I still give them a A for food and effort. The three ladies that are working are working hard. Do still tip your waitress.

Awesome corner sandwich shop in Wyalusing. Large open seating area with wraparound windows. Welcoming staff with an open view of the kitchen to see what is cooking. Nice cooler with both water, soda, and beer. Had a great neighborhood feel and got pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon. We got the strawberry salad which was nice and fresh. Also there's chalkboard special which was a Ruben burger. I would definitely come back to try their other Reuben and pastrami sandwiches.

Enjoyed my visit yesterday to the American Sandwich Company.
It is a nice friendly family owned place that works very hard to make your visit satisfying!
Ordered the Denver Mile High corned beef sandwich. This is the kind of sandwich that will tell you if the shop knows what is doing.
1st. The bread. It was not your typical rye. Which was a disappointment. However the bread it's self tasted very good!
2nd.The corned beef was very very bland. Not sure if it was actually cut in house.
3rd. Normally a good Rubin or corned beef sandwich would come with Sour Kraut. I asked for cole slaw.
4. Cold Slaw was excellent with a nice spicy vinaigrette flavor. It altered the flavor of the sandwich from bland to good.
5. Asked for the cheese to be melted which it was not. But then I had to send the sandwich back because the cold slaw was not on the sandwich.
Over all the sandwich was decent and acceptable. My guess that being in the middle of no where in a tiny but pretty town on the scenic US Rt 6, this business just does not serve many
Corned beef sandwiches.
The shop was clean, plenty of comfortable seating. Street parking was good.
Excellent WiFi. Prices are very very good!
I will go back and try a burger or another sandwich. Something more in their wheelhouse. I give them credit for trying very hard to give me what I ordered.
Interesting thing is this sandwich shop sells a variety of beers and hard seltzers. Along with the usual soft drinks in bottles and with fountain.
Have to mention Tanya. She was my server. Tanya worked very hard to get me what I ordered. I appreciate her work ethic. Her tip was above the normal percentage because she tried so hard.
Stop by. Have a sandwich with or with out a beer. Enjoy the friendly comfortable atmosphere.
For a small business, this family works very hard to stay afloat!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Taylor F.Pittsburgh, PA137311194Sep 12, 2017
This is exactly what downtown Wyalusing needed! Shout out to the owners. They transformed this establishment into something truly amazing. The interior and exterior are top-notch. Hands down the nicest interior for 20+ miles. They've got a great atmosphere and it's exactly on trend for modern day restaurants. If this was in a major city it would be one of the hottest lunch spots. I applaud them for what they've done with this space.
I stopped in and ordered the special, which was a Buffalo Chicken Panini ($7.99), served with a pickle and chips. I had my choice of blue cheese or ranch on the sandwich... obviously went with blue cheese. Also, grabbed a drink from the cooler. The sandwich was delicious! They're definitely using fresh ingredients. After leaving a 15% tip my total order rang up just under $12.00. I have no problem paying that for a good lunch (which is hard to find in this area). My only concern is a lot of people in this area don't care about quality... they just want cheap food. I hope this place can survive the local market and that people appreciate how great this restaurant really is!
I plan to do my part in supporting them. See you again SOON!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Mar 1, 2018
The food is excellent, the atmosphere is casual & the employees are so friendly! My husband and I had lunch today - he built his own burger and I had my usual 'Oven Roasted Chicken Panini'. The first thing I said to my husband today was how the bread was perfectly toasted and NOT saturated with butter on the outside! My husbands burger was perfectly prepared and super tasty! We finished lunch off with their home made slice of peanut butter pie and it was to die for! My daughter loved looking out their beautiful windows, too! It was a perfect lunch date!

My friend and I stopped to try a sandwich and we wound up spending two hours eating four.
The sandwiches are all from different parts of the country in style and flavor. We split and shared them.
The craft beer selection was incredible. We had never heard of these beers before but they were delicious.
The staff was kind and courteous and quick to desceibe any sandwich or beverage we asked about.
This is by far my favorite place for a sandwich and a beer in Bradford county, or the southern tier.
It's also kid friendly as I saw the kids menu and families enjoying meals together as fathers relaxed with a brew and a big sandwich.
I'll be coming here again and again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Linda K.Towanda, PA0385Nov 22, 2020
Good food, good staff, pricy Sandwiches but worth it! Some of the girls can improve on their manners but other than that, 4 stars.

New and clean. Cool modern country atmosphere. Service was friendly and helpful. My Goodness chicken salad on a pretzel role was very good. So was the Cole slaw. My wife's veggie panini and Mac and cheese which they only have on Fridays was good too.
I'd love to see reusable cutlery or at least individually dispensed compostableHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dan K.Wysox, PA33813Aug 2, 2019
My wife and I stopped in here for lunch one day she wanted to try it so we stopped. My wife had a chicken cheesesteak and I had a cheesesteak. Well our portions were small for the high price we payed. The subs were ok but for the price I was expecting better. Will we go back more then likely no.
