Art of Touch Therapeutic Massage & Skin Care

In June of 2023 I impulsively booked a massage at Art of Touch and liked it so much that I am now a regular. Stephanie consistently provides a thorough massage and, though she seems to instinctively know what my body needs, always asks for my input before, during, and after. The facility is beautiful and everyone is kind and professional. I have never felt out of place or uncomfortable.

I tried to book on line for a gift card I was given but couldn't book a package. So I called last week and left a message for the owner and never got a call back. I understand it was a holiday week but it's been a week..:what kind of customer service is that?

Art of Touch is a great place for a massage. The atmosphere is clean and always smells nice. I have been going there for years, since it is close to home and reasonably priced. I love the Swedish massages I get, and the therapists are professional. They offer discounts if you book massages on Thursdays, and sometimes when they have last-minute appointments available. The only thing I don't like about this day spa are the reception area staff. They could be friendlier, and they always make you ask for discounts, even though specials are advertised. They also rely on you to tell them when you have a credit in your account even when they can look it up. As a customer, I would appreciate more transparency. Otherwise, it's a reliable option for a massage.

I have been a customer for a year now and have never been disappointed with the services here. Staff is really friendly and hospitable. The prices are reasonable. My boyfriend and I always look forward to the massage services. There's a reason why we drive 90mins to come to Art of Touch for our massage and not anywhere else. They are awarded No.1 in CT and I highly recommend AOT.

Art of Touch has been a staple since I decided to get my first massage last summer. It was recommended by a friend who has been going here for years prior. I was looking for a way to indulge around my birthday and I happened to be sore from working out more often.

I was nervous about getting the massage because I've had "massages" from boyfriends before and those either didn't help or I was terribly ticklish. I booked a 60 min swedish massage appointment with April online - which was very convenient. It was difficult to find the place at first so I was stressed when I first walked in but found the whole place (even the waiting area) very soothing. April was very friendly and took a moment to ask me about my history with massages and what I wanted her to focus on. Once I was under the covers with the heated pad, I felt very at ease. I loved that first massage!

Ever since I started getting massages, I've been to a few other places. They're not quite the same for a variety of reasons. Some just don't have the same atmosphere. Some massage therapists are too chatty. Some massages are too much like physical therapy (with people stretching your body with limbs in the air - which wasn't bad, but not really what I needed).

I definitely would recommend Art of Touch to anyone who wants a good massage with a great atmosphere.

I noticed that there wasn't a listing for this place so I felt compelled to add it to YELP because I find I'm often looking for a spa-type of place for a massage and now I've finally found it.
Art of Touch is in Newington Center and it's a very nice place to get a massage. I've had 2 there. The first was a couples massage for 90 minutes (worth every penny) and the second was a deep tissue massage for 60 minutes which was amazing. This place is clean, classy and nice. The rates are not out of the ordinary and they offer many other services too.

I've been coming here for almost 4 years for facials/massages. Lucy and her team are great- I always feel completed relaxed when I'm there. Every time I come out of a session, they make sure to grab water and check on me to see how I'm feeling after. They're constantly putting their clients first.

Great place for a massage. How can you go wrong at a spot that is basically dedicated to massages? Fantastic atmosphere.

I've have massages several places and in different states and I will say one thing I completely miss about CT is Art of Touch. No chain like Massage Envy or spa I have tried captures the excellence of Art of Touch.
