I left an event and noticed I had a flat tired. This place was right across the street. Since I had never been here I didn't know what to expect. The folks here were extremely pleasant and the replacement was completed within the timeframe they told me. . Would definitely go here again.

I was able to get a quote on a tire patch and was able to make an appointment in minutes. Tire patch was FREE and was pretty quick. Only took an hour because there was a car ahead of me but I enjoyed the local Starbucks nearby and waited patiently.

With so many five star reviews here, especially with one coming from our local CM, I thought for sure I would have had a new tire shop to go to, but unfortunately, it was not meant to be.

I usually take my car to America's Tire for my tire needs, and one of my tires was in need of repair. The TPMS sensor came on one weekday, and I went to America's Tire after work to get the air pressure checked. I was told that my left rear tire was a little low on PSI and was also recommended to schedule an appointment if the sensor light came on again. It did a few days later, but by the time it came on again, the next time I could schedule an appointment was for Monday since America's Tire is not open on Sundays.

While I was searching around for tire shops on Yelp on Sunday morning, I noticed that not only was American Tire Depot open each day of the week, but they also inspect and fix flat tires for free! It sounded too good to be true, but just like a scam, it was, though certainly not in the sense of a stolen identity.

I was driving south on Lakewood Blvd and nearly turned into the rear of the shop until I saw it looked like an alleyway that led to somewhere else. So I U-turned and pulled into the lot in front. There was a car sitting by the curb next to the garages, and I really didn't know why that was there. I parked my car at a stall directly across from that car since I figured an employee would drive my car into the shop to further inspect the tires, as is usually the case with America's Tire.

I went inside and was immediately greeted and helped by one of the employees. I told him what I was here for, and he immediately cautioned that if they were to patch up my tire, it would void the warranty since I had gotten the tires from somewhere else. He further elaborated on this, and I was convinced that it wasn't worth it to get the tire patched up here; I just had to let the tire further ruin my weekend plans.

I was about to leave without having anything done until he offered to do an air pressure check, which I agreed to. He asked me to pull into one of the garages, and I was a little worried that the car sitting by the curb would get in my way while backing out. He immediately retorted back saying there was plenty enough space, calling me out like a dimwitted member of the peasantry.

And it didn't end there.

When I pulled in, I asked if I needed to stop the engine, and he simply said to park the car while walking away to get a technician to assist me. It didn't even answer the question! But after his flippant response just moments before, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

As I was listening to incredibly loud mariachi music, Raul came by to do the air pressure check on my tires, but asked which tire(s) I wanted him to check. I knew the left rear was bad, but wanted him to check on the right rear to see if that was bad as well. He did inflate the left rear tire so that the TPMS sensor came off, and he also confirmed that the right rear tire was not an issue at all.

Raul demonstrated better customer service, but he was asking me if I'd like to have his team take a further look at my tires and remove a nail that could possibly be stuck on the rubber. I just had the discussion with the first employee that convinced me to wait it out another day, but we went back and forth that I think he was trying to get me to get it done now given how low my PSI was. Drawing a hypothetical hyperbolic graph in my head of Air Pressure vs. Miles Driven, I concluded that I should have enough to wait until my appointment the next day.

While I'm glad I was able to get my tire inflated to the proper PSI, it was simply adding a bandaid, as opposed to a tire patch. I didn't get a good first impression of American Tire Depot, especially having felt so ridiculed as a customer of a competitor. The caution I was given about having your tires worked at a different place than where you got them further affirmed my learning a lesson to not do business with American Tire Depot anymore, so Henry, when you reply to this review, there's no need to mention the email address as it would do nothing but imply that my review was not read, at least in its entirety. Back to America's Tire I go!

I emailed the owner after he emailed me to resolve the issue. I haven't heard anything as of yet, it's been 4 days.

It is now 2/15/24, no response from the owner. This establishment is a rip off. I will continue to blast this company as customer service is very important and companies like this take advantage of women.

Had my Toyota Sienna serviced today ... came in and Marco, the manager was very friendly and welcoming as always ... Took good care of my service needs every time my cars need service ... I highly recommend this place for most all of your car service maintenance needs ... Highly recommend! My rear right tire has been giving me problems for about a week. Since I drive a car with minimal tire clearance, I can't see what the issue is but my tire pressure warning sign keeps coming on every few days even though I pump it up. It's probably punctured by something.

I came to American Tire Depot based on a recommendation from a friend. They told me they patched up their tires here for free. I was in disbelief...I couldn't think of any service for free these days. The guy at the front greeted me and asked what my car's issue was. He quickly asked for my basic info and said we'll take care of you. I sat down for about 15-20 mins scrolling IG and before you know it my tire was patched up and ready to go. That's it. No payment, nothing. FREE. I'm amazed and super happy about this so I figured I'd write them this review.

Everyone was friendly. I missed the guy's name, but he was wearing a maroon LA hat, glasses, and rockin' a stache. Even one of the mechanics directed traffic to help me back out! Would highly recommend coming here for a free tire patching service. Based on this experience I would come back for other things. Hell, it got me to write a Yelp review!

Outstanding service here at American Tire Depot, shoutout Jordan for being very communicative and answering all my car questions. Not replacing my tires when they were low on tread definitely caught up to me. I came here right after I got a flat tire.

Instead of patching it, I got new tires (Bridgestone Potzenas). I didn't compare the price to other dealers, but they apparently gave me a discount. They also did an alignment at the end of the experience. The replacement was done promptly and was very convenient for me. Jordan always called about updates or any questions, but it started to be a lot in the end. I'm glad I got everything figured out because I drive a lot for work.

I'd go here again for future tire needs. They're friendly, can fit you in same day, offer very competitive pricing on tires, and are transparent with their costs. I'm eternally grateful that they were an option for me after getting a screw stuck in my tire. My only feedback is that the time estimates wasn't the most accurate - took about 4 hours to replace a tire (longer line of cars in front of me on a weekend AM) rather than my initial 2.5 hour estimate. Wouldn't preclude me from returning or from highly recommending to others, though, just would make sure to leave my day open!

Driving south on the 405 after a morning hike in the Hollywood Hills, the low tire pressure indicator flashed on. I've had my share of false alarms with the highly sensitive pressure monitoring system, so I didn't think much of it. I drove back to Long Beach and stopped by a gas station to manually check the tire pressure.

To my surprise, the tire pressure on my left rear tire was less than 25 psi, while the other tires all scored above 35 psi. It took me less than a second to spot the culprit--a three-inch nail went straight through the side of my tire.

I pumped as much air into my leaking tire as possible at the gas station, and called American Tire Depot. Someone answered the phone right away. He was able to give me three quotes based on my tire model over the phone, and within ten minutes, my car was parked and ready to be serviced at the Tire Depot.

It wasn't too busy on this Sunday morning, and while I enjoyed my lunch at the newly opened Zankou Chicken, my car got a new shoe. It took less than 45 minutes for me to finish eating and the exact same amount of time to replace my tire. After a satisfying lunch (see my review of Zankou), my car was ready to roll.

If you want a new tire at a reasonable price, excellent expeditious service, and great chicken, look no further than this American Tire Depot. A Starbucks is adjacent if that's your thing.

Slow leak in tire. I brought the car in just after opening. They were busy as you would expect, people were handled efficiently, with their issues listed to be addressed, and options given. Patrick was on it! I told him what was going on with my car, Kia Kona 2021, and he got my details and I settled down for the wait. I was barely halfway through my coffee, when they were completed with my repair!
