I really enjoy this day spa. Its quiet and the staff is very friendly. They have a good list of services and are well priced.
I'vve been several times and plan to keep going back. They also own the east side 'N Dulge but its not as nice and nowhere near as relaxing. Make the drive to the west side.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Liane E.Tucson, AZ039Sep 22, 2012
Place is clean and very friendly. I got a hot stone massage and a microdermabrasion. The facial was nice but definitely lacked in the massage department. Because I've had facials where they massage you instead of leaving the room while the client has the mask on, I'm spoiled and wish all places did that. I found myself antsy and bored. That being said, my skin looks great though. The massage was great. Super relaxing and the therapist was able to really work my sore shoulders. I'm going to try out other day spas but I'll definitely come back if they have specials going on.

Update: went back for a mani/pedi with some friends. Much more impressed with the staff and the service itself. But, my manicure lasted all of a day and a half before totally chipping/peeling. Not worth it!
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Mar 8, 2013Previous reviewI went here for a much needed pedi based off the recommendation of a friend. I wasn't really impressed with the service -- the two girls that were there seemed happy to just chat with each other and they kept having to stop because there was no one else there to answer the phone or greet people coming in the door. My pedi was just okay, didn't last very long (the polish not the service, although that wasn't very long either!). I got my eyebrows waxed as well and was extremely disappointed. I told them I have very sensitive skin and was assured my skin wouldn't even be red after. Yeah... I not only had glowing red skin, but I had scabs from the layers of skin removed. The only plus was the military discount.

I booked a party for my daughter's 10th birthday. I paid $150 for the "party room" and another $240 for manis and pedis. I was told we'd have 2 people dedicated to doing the girls' nails. One of the nail techs acted like she was doing us a favor by working on them-so rude. Three girls were done when one of the stylists left to do a haircut, putting the party well behind-the last girl wasn't done until 3:30 (the party started at 1). No one ever spoke to us, except to tell us twice to be quiet because a woman downstairs was having a facial. There was the usual giggling of girls at a party, but nothing wild. I'd visited the salon twice before and had decent service. This time, though, in spite of spending over $400 at the salon, a potentially lovely experience for my daughter turned out to be embarrassing and kind of sad. There were only a handful of customers that Saturday, but I guess they didn't need or want my business.

I had a lovely deep tissue massage but my scheduled appt started 30 mins late, reportedly because the client before me sat in the sauna in same room over the time limit, presumedly because no one told her what to expect, I.e. Instructions from staff on time limits and scheduling. Not a big deal but I chose the 90 min massage solely based on my mother getting both manicure and pedicure (75 mins). So she wouldn't be waiting around for me for long. Then my masseuse pardon himself and left the room 3 times. (You knew you had a client today, maybe hold off eating things that make you have to excuse yourself from rooms that day). That was also something I tried to overlook because the actual massage was doing well to my back injury I came in with but... Next crap thing to go wrong, I brought my mom as a Mother's Day gift (mani pedi), I came out the massage, mom was bored to tears and didn't look impressed at all, her toes were NOT done and I said what happen she said the woman told her those are done strictly on appt basis only and they "didn't have time for her"... Folks... These appointments were made weeks ahead of time FOR MOTHERS DAY. And PREPLANNED to treat my mother. I picked this spa because it appeared to be a high end classy place online. But the quality of service was ... Let's just say I had better service and benefits in 3rd world countries where they don't have much to work with in the first place. I feel ripped off and for what was suppose to be such a special day between mother and daughter for Mother's Day. If it weren't for the actual work my nice masseuse did this place would get no stars. This place is really expensive, and for how we were treated... It's really hard for me not to curse in this write-up. Thanks for ruining our day.
