Kleanrite Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

Like others before me (I should have read the YELP reviews) I purchased an Offer for them from Angie's List. I called them and the owner said his wife had recently had a baby and could he get back to me ... never did. I called again about a month later and he said he was in his vehicle and did not have his scheduling book and could he call me back ... never did. I called him again, he had the same problem not having his book and could he call me back ... never did. I contacted Angie's List to get my money back and they said that because it was beyond their 30 day refund policy all they could do was contact him. They said they did several times and he has still never contacted me even though he was paid by Angie's List ... Nice.

If I could give him 0 stars I would. STAY AWAY!

We hired Rob based on the stellar reviews and we're glad we did. Rob owns his company and he's located in Carmel Mountain Ranch. Presumably because of his location he prefers to do business in the area, which means he's on time and unlikely to get lost. Check out his website: the guy's internet-savvy.

He did an absolute bang-up job on our dirty carpet after we moved out. He cleaned it better than Domingo who did it upon our move-in. We were impressed. His rates are quite reasonable. He's friendly, he's English and he's a small business owner. He also uses green products, which is a big plus for us. What's not to like, eh? I would hire him again.

Rob cleaned all of the carpets in our townhouse and did an amazing job. One of my pet peeves with service providers in general is that they tell you that they will be at your house at a certain time and then they ended up coming hours later than they commit. Rob though really blew me away by calling in the morning to see if it was ok if he came half an hour earlier that afternoon. That actually ended up working out better for me, so I said yes. He gave me a follow up call closer to the appointment to let me know he was running about ten minutes late, which I thought was very courteous, and he did show up exactly when he said he would after that.

In addition to his timeliness, Rob and his assistant worked quickly and carefully on my carpets, putting up special wall protectors so that the hoses would not mark the paint as they wrapped around corners. He provided the standard shoe coverings afterwards and gave clear instructions on how to keep the carpets clean and get them to dry as quickly as possible. Most importantly however, the carpets looked brand new, and the house smelled amazing. It smelled like citrus, rather than that chemical smell that other carpet cleaners leave afterwards.

I highly recommend Rob and his team, and will use them again. My husband couldn't believe how reasonable the quote was compared to the competition, he was amazed to see the high quality results afterwards as well.

We had Rob clean the carpets in our condo after we were tired of seeing that entryway grime build up. He showed up on time and completed the carpets within about an hour (for an entire one-bedroom condo).

Wow. I've never seen the carpet so clean. It was cleaner than the day we moved in--almost shiny because of how clean it was. Rob was personable, did a fabulous job, and charged a very reasonable rate. Even better, he's the kind of guy I trust to be in my home. While he was working, I took my dog and went out to lunch--and didn't think twice about him being alone in my home because I could tell immediately that he is a trustworthy and honest businessman.

Next time we need our carpets cleaned, I won't even consider using anyone else.

I found Kleanrite here at Yelp and based on the reviews, I called to have my carpets clean. Rob came in on-time, cleaned my carpets which hadn't been cleaned in over 5 years, and came out spotless! Kudos to Mr. Rob for doing an awesome job!

The cost of the service was (I thought) too good that I just had to give some extra! 'Would definitely recommend him to everyone I know who needs their carpet cleaned.

This is the second time we used Kleanrite...great job on my Dad's carpets. Rob is very thorough and let's you know what you need and what you don't, without trying to up sell services. And the carpets look & smell great!

I had nothing but a horrible experience with this company so far. I had an appointment for last Thursday in the middle of the day and was called a few hours before the appointment saying they couldn't make it. So we rescheduled for a week later for Friday. I was offered a 20% discount which was fine. Then tonight, the night before my 2nd appointment I get another call saying they can't make it and this time offered me only a 15% discount to reschedule (not an additional 15% just a 15% discount). Two reschedules, and with the 2nd time having a worse discount than the first. Very poor management and a very poor customer service experience. Both times I had set up my work schedule so I would be home for the appointment and each time I was given significantly less than a days notice that they couldn't make it.

Do not waste your time with this company. If I could give zero stars I would.

I hired Kleanrite to clean my down sofa, which my cat had unfortunately urinated on. They have an enzyme treatment that's supposed to break down the pee. I kept asking the technician if he thought it would really work, and he assured me that, once the chemical dried, the urine odor would disappear. It didn't. At all. It's almost worse now, smelling the pee and the chemical. I've decided to replace the entire sofa - and I just wish I hadn't spent the $100 already on the sofa cleaning.

They also cleaned our carpets, which do look better, but they took forever to dry. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with this company and I wish they were more honest about the challenges of dealing with cat urine.
