So glad this place exists. Julie was very helpful and I was able to try many pairs of top IEM's. That was invaluable. I ended up choosing something different than I expected because of that opportunity. Thank you Julie!!!

There are very few opportunities to hear top-of-the-line IEMs side-by-side and even fewer opportunities to do the test blindfolded. Even at CanJam it's not really possible.
When I heard about this being possible from Steve the Audiophiliac on YouTube via Dr. Julie Glick's - Musicans Hearing Solutions office, I booked an appointment immediately.

Drove down from the Bay Area for this opportunity.

First she checked my ears to see if they needed to be cleaned but my ears were already clean.
Then onto the demo. I got to try many of the IEMs maybe 12 different ones (not sure), when I went.
Ultimate Ears, Jerry Harvey Audio, and 64 Audio were available, and we did the blind tests.

I did not feel rushed, and spent at least 2 minutes or longer with each IEM which is all I needed.
My personal top 5 picks were, in this order:
64 A18t
64 A18s
64 A12t
JH Jimi
JH Layla

64 Audio A18t sounded very good, but then we put the m15 apex module in and I was sold.

All 5 of them were excellent but I drifted more into 64 Audio's direction. Although JH had stronger bass.

I ended up purchasing A18t custom IEMs via Dr, Julie Glick and was able to customize my pair, and even get a discount, and a free hearing test.

Was surprised that my hearing came back normal since I've been to over 500 concerts and am constantly wearing headphones, etc. but grateful that I still have my hearing and also that Dr. Julie Glick's shop even exists.

Not only am I happy with this opportunity, but it was worth the trip from the Bay Area (6 hour drive).

My son and I visited Musicians Hearing Solutions today to visit Dr. Glick to get my son his ear impressions. My son plays guitar at church and wanted his personal IEM instead of using the ones that church supplies. Dr. Glick was very profesional and knowledgeable on the IEM and the impression process, since I had no clue on how all of this works. She explained to my son about the process and was gentle during the process. Impressions came out good and we purchased IEM from Dr Glick. My son picked out the Jerry Harvey brand of IEM with options and Dr. Glick took care of sending in the impressions to JH and placing the order. Very easy process. We also received the Black Friday discount! Awesome! I would definitely recommend Musicians Hearing Solutions and Dr. Glick to anyone looking into purchasing IEM and or wanting custom ear impressions

Today, my son and I met Dr. Julie Glick to pick up his custom IEM's. Dr. Glick and my son went over the IEM's and helped him put them into his ears and went over the basics. Perfect fit! I have to say, for someone (me) who doesn't know anything anything about IEM's,the JH IEM's look great and my son said the audio sound was amazing. Thank you Dr. Glick for the great service and for helping my son order his first IEM's. Definitely recommend Dr. Glick and Musicians Hearing Solutions.

I had a great experience with Julie helping me pick just the right set of UE PRO In-Ear Monitors for my music production needs. Even when the fit wasn't perfect on the first try, she made sure I was 100% satisfied with a re-fitting, which ended up nailing the fit perfectly. I am in the process of getting my 3rd pair of Ultimate Ears...don't ask my last pair were stolen. I needed to have impressions made, Jen Colicchio of Ultimate Ears( the BEST) sent me to Elvera of MHS.

Julie is not just fantastic in knowledge of her field and getting the proper satisfying results, but she is also an amazing human who absolutely cares. As a professional traveling musician, I am the happiest I've ever been when it comes to my ears. With Julie's help and knowledge I feel more comfortable on stage knowing that I'm hearing what I need, and that my hearing is being protected all at the same time. Very easy to get in contact with, and always is consistent. She's the best!

I've just hit the one year mark since I started working with Julie. My hearing is significantly impaired, to the extent that I completely rely upon hearing aids to be able to converse in person or via phone.

My previous provider (also in Beverly Hills) sold me rebranded aids, which can only be adjusted and serviced by their office. The primary purpose for the rebranding is to restrict price shopping and make it hard to move to another audiologist. It's a scummy thing to do. Further, as my hearing deteriorated and conversations became more and more difficult, they told me that there were no options for me. The aids I had were the best in existence and could not be improved upon at any price.

This necessarily led me to seek other opinions and options. And thus to Julie. She was initially concerned about whether she could help after we tested my hearing. But we discussed all the options, tested many of them, and she was ultimately able to fit me with SUBSTANTIALLY better aids. And we further explored a half dozen devices that could be used with my aids to further improve my ability to hear and converse in various situations. I bought and use most of them.

It's difficult to convey how much of a difference this has made in my life. I can hear my wife and family. I can attend and enjoy concerts. I can function and effectively communicate in my work environment. All of this was in question when I met Julie. I am deeply grateful and wholeheartedly recommend her.

I am a stenographer and rely on my hearing for work. But I'm also a huge electronic music fan and go to many festivals and local shows on the weekends. I came to Julie for a pair of custom earplugs to replace a pair I had lost.

The consultation was brief but professional and thorough. Julie was great to talk to and made everything fun and personal. After she removed the casting material, she went over usage instructions and answered any questions I had. I got them rushed because I am leaving for Holy Ship next Tuesday and they arrived way ahead of time! (I went in on 2/2/2016 and I received them today, 2/5/2016, delivered to my apartment)

I am not a musician, but I love listening to music. For years, I have had in ear, custom molded Ultimate Ear monitors. I lost them earlier this year and began looking at replacement options. I had 3 objectives-- I wanted to get the very best in ear monitors, with a perfect fit. I wanted to get a hearing exam, as I have known for some time that I have some mild hearing loss. I was hoping to get some in ear monitors that could compensate for that loss. And, finally, I wanted to investigate hearing aids, if it turned out that I needed them.

After a few hours of research, I was convinced that Julie Glick was the doctor I wanted to see. Working with musicians, she has an appreciation for their requirements-- so she had far more experience than I even needed, as far as music was concerned. I also was sure that since at least part of my hearing loss is a result of too much loud music for too long-- that she would have a good understanding of what I needed.

My confidence was rewarded. Julie Glick is one of the finest professionals I have had the pleasure to deal with. She tested my hearing and told me that I have moderate hearing lost in higher frequencies and could benefit from hearing aids. She did the ear impressions and after over an hour of demonstrating various manufacturer's in ear headsets, I selected a pair and she took care of the rest.

Best of all-- she prescribed the hearing aids that she felt were best for my particular hearing loss. And, she was able to get them overnighted. Since we traveled from Washington, DC to New York to see Julie-- I was anxious to take the hearing aids home. I have had the hearing aids for two weeks now and my entire world has changed. All of my music is now new to me in fabulous ways. I hear notes I have not heard in years. Voices are crisp and clear. Crowded, noisy restaurants no longer bother me. I hear no sounds that don't seem to belong. No odd rushes or feedback. Just crisp, clear, magical sounds. Oh-- and the hearing aids are all but invisible. I could not be happier.

In summary-- I can hear all the background noise-- it just does not interfere with my ability to hear people. And, loud noise does not seem to bother me at all. I think the best way I can describe them is that there is virtually nothing that I hear that sounds odd or artificial. It's just like I am hearing the sounds that I hear clearly in the lower frequencies-- but now, not only do the lower frequencies that I could already hear sound better, I hear the higher frequencies, too. Plus, nothing is heard that sounds like it might not belong. It's simply wonderful!

As for Julie Glick-- I love her enthusiasm. And her knowledge and professionalism. I love it when I find a professional that I can both enjoy and place my health in his or her hands with total confidence.

So-- professionalism, enthusiasm, fun and confidence. Julie Glick has it all. Julie, you make problem solving fun-- thanks!

Dr. Glick made the best impressions I ever had, I use my UE every day for the last few years and they fit perfect, I wear them for hours and I don't even feel them, sometimes I forget them in my ears.
