I LOVE Mud Honey Salon! The owner, Branka, is wonderful with Coloring and Hair cutting and makes her clients feel welcome and comfortable. Her prices are very fair. I recommend Mud Honey Salon HIGHLY!!!

I grew up going to really fancy expensive salons in Beverly Hills. No matter what I always came out unhappy with my hair. So I gave up and went straight cheapo salons because I figured if someone was gonna mess up my hair, might as well not pay a million bucks to do it! So basically my whole life I have (A) not really been happy with my hair & (B) never trusted salons to actually do something with my hair that I would be super happy with.
Well, I feel that Stefanie really transformed me. First of all she LISTENS , she thoughtfully and sincerely listens to what you are saying. But then she kind of adds her own experience, expertise and intuition by giving little suggestions, and I feel that that combo is PERFECT! It gives you a chance to trust that the person doing your hair "gets it".
It was just such an awesome experience all around. I never felt rushed. She took her time to make sure it was SPOT ON before she or I were satisfied :))
She's a super sweet lovely and funny person. Totally makes u relaxed, AND u leave feeling prettier than ever. So it is a total win-win!!
I don't care where or when, I'm going back to Stefanie as long as i can.

Go see Stefanie! I got my highlights and cut from her a few weeks ago and am so happy - she knew that I don't go to the salon very often so gave me a great style that wouldn't need much maintenance. The prices were really reasonable too. It's not a super posh ambiance but you get great, efficient and personal attention. Definitely recommend!

I don't really post reviews - I don't read other people's reviews either, a lot of times are biased and based on personal preferences or standards... speaking of which - ever since I moved to LA (I lived in many different places around the world) I've noticed that LA people don't really have standards or else I can't explain the low quality services in LA. Either you pay 500 or 50 its still the same crap everywhere you go... Hollywood, Melrose, BH or the ghetto areas. I gave up on trying to find professional good quality services.

But hey this review is not about me ranting here. it's about Branka...

I went the other day for electrolysis and I was telling that lady that Ive been having hair problems ever since I moved to LA and I used to model for hair; Ive always had beautiful healthy long hair till I moved to LA. Now I don't want to blame the stylists but Ive been using pretty much the same hair products, I'm very health conscious, I never traumatize my hair or my scalp with harsh chemicals, I don't even blow dry it when home and yet, my hair always looked like crap here. That nice lady - thank you Lois - sent me to Branka next door salon to take a look at my hair.

Now when Branka saw my hair she immediately recommended hair cut - something that none of my fancy expensive stylists mentioned before even though my hair looked like a broom. Initially i was reluctant to it, come on now, its my hair we are talking about and Ive never seen Branka before that day. I was negative the whole time but Branka didn't care, she did her job the best she could to make me look 'human' again and to my surprise she did an amazing job. My hair not only looks great but it also came back to life, it's much fuller and healthier looking, just like it used to be in the old days.

Branka this message is for you, I'm sorry I gave you such a hard time and thank you for understanding me. Thank you for making me happy with my hair again! I'm so glad I met you and I'll be coming to see you from now... Loredana

The amazing hairdresser Vladana did my hair yesterday and I couldn't be happier with the results !!!!!! I feel like I belong on stage, that's how amazing it came out!!! No doubt I'll be going back!!! Can't wait to see what she'll do ! Haha!

This review is long over due... If you are planing to get your hair done YOU MUST ask for Stephine!! I've been getting my hair done here for years.

Its always clean parking is fair (Its by the beach) and very responsive to what I want.

Branca is the best. I think I have been going to her for over 20 some years. I drive far to see her but she is amazing at cut and color!
