This place has been here forever & used to be one of my favorites.
Went a few months ago & was pretty let down by everything we got.
I'll give them another try before I give up on them. My childhood favorite was the big NY pizza that has broccoli, tomatoes and ricottaHelpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 21, 2023
Great Family owned place in Fairlawn. The owners Debbie & Mark have been married for 44 years & couldn't have made us feel more at home for our family dinner. They customized everything from the pizza to the dessert assortment we ordered. It's also a BYO wine place so we were able to keep the meal very affordable & fun.

Need a fun place with good Italian food to watch the game on Sundays? This is it! While not a huge restaurant, it's easy to see the tv's from wherever you are sitting in the restaurant. Highly recommend munching on the garlic knots, some salad and pizza while watching your favorite team play football.
The staff is friendly and helpful. It's seat yourself, so we chose a booth, which was comfy.
In addition to the menu items I recommended, they also have pasta dishes and sandwiches. All food is freshly prepared and made to order. Love the sauce here! Hint of sweetness. Looking forward to visiting here again soon!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Edie S.West Akron, Akron, OH112210Sep 15, 2023
My mom is a hardcore fan of this meatball sub!!! She said that the bread is crunchy, but crispy! Meatballs are not too much for the punch! And, the sauce makes her swoon! I have to drive one monthly to her!

I had to worst experience on December 7th with my pizza order. What I ordered is not what I got I called and was suppose to receive a return call and still today I haven't received that call. I'm very disappointed in the lack of care about customer service. If you order please order in person to ensure that you get what you order.

Advertising New York style pie, we wanted to give it a try and wanted to like it. Hard as I might want it to be this isn't the pie I grew up with, not even close. We ordered an XL and it was the biggest damn pie I've ever seen. Unfortunately, the sauce was decidedly sweet and the cheese was sparse and not the bubbling, molten mess I wanted. The crust was lacking and undercooked. Worth a try and great stuff if you have ravenous teens around but not what it was billed.

This is a classic neighborhood Pizza place. I and my family have been coming here over 20 years. The pies are typically pretty good.
Last time I ordered here, our pie was under done, under sauced, over cheesed and was miss shaped. Called back after we took a bite and let them know this wasn't the G pie we were used too. Management was more than helpful, remade the pie and made sure we left happy.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Matthew S.Peninsula, OH1471Apr 17, 2022
We dined in and it was not very busy. Service was good and prompt. All staff was welcoming. Food was excellent. We ordered the Pizza, some apps, kids ordered cheese steak sub. Mr Gs fries were really good, garlic bread meets loaded fries.
We will go back for sure.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 21, 2018
I've been here a few times when in the area visiting my folks. Solid NY-style pie here. In an area challenged for good pizza; this delivers. I always tell places to leave it in the oven longer to get that good NYC/Brooklyn crispness and char on the crust. RANT: Too many places serve underdone and sloppy pizza in the area because of rubes/dummies in NE Ohio who complain saying crispness/char on the crust is burnt! Uh, wrong. Go to NYC, Brooklyn, or New Haven. Nice dark char on certain parts of the crust from those coal fired ovens especially. Crisp. So, you dummies are ruining it for us pizza purists. At least that's my theory why there is such sloppy pizza everywhere here. The businesses have to make money so they cater to you rubes by serving sloppy and soft/underdone crust pizza. END RANT.
I8" pie with sausage, banana peppers, basil. Big slices!! Fresh and everything homemade. My parents had a coupon in some local calendar so the pie ended up being around $8 cheaper than what it would normally cost for a pie that size...low to mid $20s I believe. Not cheap but not some garbage chain/conveyor belt-toaster oven spot.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
