BEWARE Mr. Auto Fix It Mobile Repair AKA Mr. AGGRESSIVE ‼
Reviewing based on a HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL encounter that a relative just experienced. (I am not speaking under her direction.) At NO point should Calvin (the mechanic) have INITIATED assault against a pregnant customer by throwing her into the hood of her car! When my relative went retrieve her car (for services already paid), she found car parts sprawled about based on her refusal for additional overpriced services of $400 for an oil and light bulb change, and $120 for a diagnostic performed months earlier when the vehicle was first acquired. Calvin refused to reassemble the parts (again, my relative had already rendered payment for the original requested service), and even began further disassembling car parts despite her asking that Calvin refrain from touching her vehicle until police arrive. TACTLESS AND UNPROFESSIONAL! If you want a side of aggression with your services, Calvin is your guy!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nikita H.Mableton, GA190106292Apr 19, 2018

Stay away unless you enjoy being treated like dirt!
I called Mr. Auto Fix It Mobile Repair to finish up a DIY repair job that turned into a nightmare. He seemed professional and it seemed like he fixed my car right on the first try until a week later when I looked under my car and saw that the leak was still there and he didn't do a good job of cleaning up the scraped off gasket maker that holds the transmission pan onto the transmission.
His failure to clean up properly could have resulted in me needing a new transmission if one of the scraped off pieces got sucked into my transmission!
When I called Calvin to get things fixed, he agreed to fix my problem but this is where things started to go south causing him to lose my business permanently. Here's what happened:
1. Rain caused me to reschedule my appointment for another day but Calvin never contacted me to confirm what time he would stop by my house to fix things. I had to call him.
2. Even though he was supposed to come to my house, on the day of the appointment he told me that I had to bring my car to his shop to get it fixed and that I had to be there within 3 hours notice or keep waiting for him to get it fixed.
3. When I got lost and politely called for directions a 2nd time, Calvin yelled at me, was rude, and treated me like an idiot for not being able to find his shop. No customer should be treated that way!
After I hung up (and blocked him from contacting me), I immediately took my car to nearby Autoville (a great Honda/Acura/Japanese specialist shop). The knowledgeable man who inspected my car could not believe that my transmission pan gasket was replaced a week ago. He had to ask me twice just to make sure. In his words, "they did NOT do a good job of cleaning the pan."
My advice to others; don't waste your time. He got the job done quick and at a very, very cheap price but he didn't do it right despite it being one of the simplest jobs a mechanic can do and his customer service skills stink.Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I have been using this service for 6 years. I found him when he was a mobile mechanic to do some repairs on my car. He's always been fair, trustworthy, and upfront. He does all of my major repairs and I because of him I still have the car today. I've never had any issues with his work. I recently got my calipers, spark plugs, brakes, and wheel bearings done. He has reasonable prices and will do the job he says which I value.

This review is waaaaaaaaaay overdue! Where do I even start?! I have a 2001 Chevy Blazer that I'm emotionally attached to. After a freak accident, where my left axle and tire collapsed on me, I was told that I was better off scrapping it. I was recommended to a mobile mechanic after two other mechanics told me not to do any repairs. I went to Mr. Mobile Mechanic, which is a ridiculous joke (and thats me speaking "nicely" of him). My car started acting up after I had just put in $hundreds$ in repairs! I was extremely lucky that his half as* repairs didnt land me in the hospital!
Beyond disappointed, in desperate need, and extremely skeptical I called Calvin, Mr. Auto-Fix-It. When I tell you, this man is an angel! From the very beginning, he put me in such ease and reassured me that he was the right man to get the job done. He was beyond professional and went above and beyond to get me back on the road in no time! Not only did he fix the faulty repairs from the other mechanic, but he also did additional repairs for me. In all, he has done several jobs, basically all my front suspension, and I will definitely continue to do and also bring in business for him.
I am due for another visit and asked when will you be available Calvin? He responded, " I work around you ma'am. I want to make sure that you don't have to worry about your safety or miss anything else again because of your car." Words of a true business man and a genuine, professional, and trustworthy person!
PS When I say he is affordable?! Best prices in the area and great customer service and beyond with this guy here! Thank you a million Calvin! You have truly gained a customer for life!!!!!!
PSS this is not a friend or paid to endorse this business. Calvin is truly that amazing in what he does! On behalf of my baby boy (my truck) and I, thank you a million for all that you've done sir!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Drew N.Snellville, GA03Feb 11, 2019
Calvin came within an hour after being contacted, quickly addressed the issue with my car. My car's transmission had a piece that broke and I physically could not move my car, so Calvin's ability to repair it exactly where it was before the end of the business day without even having the specific part needed on hand is an amazing service. I live on the other side of the city from where he found me, and I still got home at the end of my work day at the normal time. He's a professional guy that will level with you, and very patient. Highly recommend.

Calvin of Mr.Auto Fix It is amazing. I called about my 2010 Mercedes and Calvin immediately responded that he has experience with my vehicle. Calvin's professionalism and extensive skill set mixed with his outgoing personality is spot on. He's my go to guy going forward.

I have a 2002 Chrysler Sebring Convertible that another shop failed to tell me needed a starter and fuse repair. I was stranded with little funds to make more repairs and found Calvin and this shop on Craigslist. Even at 3 pm in the afternoon Calvin told me to go ahead and bring my car. I towed it 45 miles to get to him! Calvin and his team immediately found the problem, went to the warehouse personally to pick up parts, and spent 6 hours making the necessary repairs. At any other shop they would have inflated the cost of the parts and charged me all 6 hours of labor costing me an astronomical amount. Calvin charged me $220 and bought me pizza for waiting so long. As a person with a fixed income I can't express how grateful I am to Calvin, William and his staff for all their help. My car starts like a dream now....Calvin also identified other issues that can be addressed later (and you better believe I'll be taking my car back to him to fix them)! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all your help! (His shop is RIGHT across from Camp Timber Ridge and Girl Scout Headquarters for all my Girl Scout friends!)

They don't give you a break down of the repairs done and just are really broad and jot down a price. We drove 40 minutes to get our car from them, they called us to let us know the car was done. Not once did I get a phone call of do you want us to fix it because this and that is the issue every mechanic I have used calls you before making repairs and says this is what the problem is and it will run you about this much do you want to authorize repairs? They just called said come get it, it is this much. So at this point we obviously don't have a choice we finally get there and we take our card out to pay and they say it's cash only. Seriously? This could be addressed at the beginning it was a huge hassle after missing work to get to them. I should have done a little more research and really taken my time to choose a certified licensed mechanic, lesson learned. I got distracted by all of the reviews and I should have really taken into account the bad ones and trusted my gut. After spending the money there we have had to take the car elsewhere to get this car properly taken care of.

Owner: I would like to know what problem wasn't fixed that we was supposed repair in order to have your experience with our service appropriate. I'm totally baffled at this moment. I can't make your concerns or feelings change but I am interested in knowing why you would have to take a car repaired by us to someone else in order to get something fixed that we were hired to fix. The number is 678-933-2751. Please give us a call but if not have a blessed day!
