Did Mr. Adams Steakhouse restaurant close for good or did they relocate??? I heard several people talk about how good the food was. They said that the music was awesome as well. I would love to treat my boyfriend to dinner since I hear everyone speaking so highly of it.

Had my dinner rehearsal here four years ago. The downfall was towards the end. They took over an hour to bring the pineapples. I actually had to remind them about it.
Haven't been to the dinner side since. On a positive note the bar and sport events are a great time.
Parking is always available. If you can't find parking on the first level you'll def find it in the bottom level.
During sport time waitresses are always on task and prices are decent.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - 2244321787Dec 26, 2016
There are elements of this establishment that are good and some areas that need improvement.
The food: I can honeslty say that what we had that night was very well made. The portions were suitable for the prices that were on the menu.
Drinks: although I though they were a little pricey they were really good.
Parking: It was a mad house. People were parked illegal all over the lot. At one point in time I though this lady was going to hit my car as she was trying to invent a parking spot. It was baffling to me because they had what appeared to be staff in the parking lot.
Atmosphere: Overall, it is a really well kept establishment. The bar area was really loud and lively and they did have a DJHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 4543291528Nov 15, 2017
Happy Hump Day my fellow Adventurers!
I had to work a sweet sixteen in the bottom portion of the restaurant for RJC Studios. Getting here wasn't too bad, nor was the parking. The only issue I had is that I'm normally used to having to pay for Valet but this place you don't. So instead of doing the smart thing and valeting I parked in the lot around back, the 'employee' lot. This was the worst idea ever. I will fully admit that I should have just thought about where I was as well as the event that was happening that night---McGregor vs. Mayweather. Big mistake because at the end of my shift I was basically trapped because of at least 20 cars being illegally parked.
Everyone was extremely attentive and helpful, from the valet to the hostess and manager on duty. Literally couldn't have expected such a great response when I was blocked in.
FYI I would have been more than happy to have stayed and had a drink but I was not going to cough up the cover charge just to wait it out. Plus it was past 12, I wasn't sure how long this fight was going to actually last. They patiently tried to get the patrons out to move the car which for the most part they did except for one jerk who really stood there fighting about how he was illegal parked. Again the manager and hostess were nice enough to stick up for me after the dude called me a drunk.
I would really much enjoy stopping in here on a regular night when I am not working. The atmosphere looked like an upscale sports bar.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Jan 13, 2018
This place had a really cool atmosphere. The DJ was pretty good. Was here to celebrate a birthday. We ordered drinks and food. Drinks are reasonable and tasty. The food was pretty bad! I ordered nachos, it seemed like the cheese was microwave because as soon as I got it..... it was hard as a rock. The chicken wings we're ok. This place definitely has potential, but needs to improve the food.

I've been here plenty of times before and had way better experiences. Let me just say the waitress was not the problem. The overall change in quality of food service and items are.
They use premade sangria mix for the peach sangria (Overly sweet, weak and just GROSS). The Sam Adams winter beer was FLAT. They didn't charge me for the pitcher of sangria after I sent it back. But when I complained about the beer they said it would not he taken off the bill. Ok.. So guess I shouldn't complain anymore.
The rodizio is good but the problem is it isn't offered on the bar side of the restaurant. That sucks! It's a shame the management hasn't improved. This place has a lot of potential. I like it because it's local and close to home. But I'll no longer make this an option when deciding to eat out.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 25, 2017Previous reviewThey have a really good happy hour. Nice atmosphere, although hard to hear. Love our seats overlooking the water. Server was great, courteous, friendly and attentive.
The food was mixed, depending on what you order. The steak entrees were delicious. However, don't get the ridizio as I did. Almost all of the meat are over cooked. One piece of beef was so over cooked it was gray and tasted like dry ash. I'm not kidding. The turkey wrapped in bacon could have been good but again it was so dry that I needed water to wash it down. There were a few slices of meat that were ok but the majority of what they brought over were overcooked. The salad bar (included with the ridizio order) was fresh and had a nice variety.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Oct 18, 2015
I came in on a Friday for a lunch buffet and paid $25 each including tax and tip amongst 3 people so total was close to $75 (gave a 20% tip).
So the food was average. The service was friendly and the cleanliness was good.
We got there at 1215p and it was pretty empty. The signs weren't complete by the buffet and I thought that was annoying because you didn't know what you were putting on your plate. Lots of different sides to choose from the cold bar such as different pasta salads, different potato salads, couscous salad, and a regular salad bar with different dressings (weren't labeled).
The hot bar had pork, beef stew and potatoes, rice and beans...it wasn't much due to the Rodizio included in the buffet.
The Rodizio included lamb (favorite), chicken wings (2nd favorite), skirt steak, bacon wrapped sirloin, garlic steak, and other meats.....it just kept on coming.
The Rodizio was just ok....I wasn't impressed with the other meats I tried. I felt a lot of the flavor was missing and chewy. I did have 2 favorites which I mentioned above.
As for the end of our meal, they gave us grilled pineapple poured with Chivas/Liquor 43/Sambuca.....they did a small fire show which was cool. I liked it but I couldn't eat more than 2 slices....it was a bit strong.
Other than that my overall experience was just average. I had to walk up to the register to pay when it wasn't even that busy which annoyed me but whatever.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sean C.Montclair, NJ12964167Jul 14, 2016
I love this place for so many reasons besides food. The bar area is my main comfort area. Depending on the night you go I can be a little lively and loud. especially during soccer games and major sports events.
The food here is pretty good too. Affordable prices and very reasonably priced drinks. I love the women at the bar. The mix drink well and pour generously. Not skimpy ass drinks around here.
Great place to bring friends and family.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - May 29, 2014
Ok, I like the happy hour drink prices (4-7 PM) and all the TVs.
I even like the appetizers despite that none of them are on the happy hour menu.
I like the smell and looks of the ribs slow roasting through the window.
I like that I can actually park here. In a parking lot and not on the street.
What I don't like is the concept. I can't figure out whether this place is a steakhouse with a sports bar or a sports bar selling steak. The dining room is much nicer than the laid back bar area, but the bathroom is a dump. This place is less than 6 months old as of this review and the door is already in need of some serious lube and a full-time bathroom attendant just to keep the floor clean.
Either way, I'll close on a positive note. I like that I could go here for dinner, order steak, and, probably just because of the location, not spend what I would normally spend at other steakhouses like Ruth's Chris, Peter Luger's, etc.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information
