This place is amazing and for a small donation you can wander around and enjoy so many different gardens. Bring the kids and bring your camera for an awesome/beautiful photo shoot. Pack a lunch and enjoy a serene picnic on the grounds; they have benches and picnic tables at different locations throughout the grounds.
Visit and visit often to enjoy the seasonal changes in the garden.
Trails are mostly paved but you can stray and wander. All the volunteers there are awesome, some may even give you cuttings to root at home if you ask.
They operate a small nursery in the back with awesome pricing and a lot of interesting herbs and butterfly attractants.
They also host many events throughout the year, the fall plant sale in November is my absolute favorite.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 21, 20241 check-in
We visited Mounts Botanical Garden for the first time. We went to see the gardens as well as the Origami exhibit.
We entered through the gift shop and bought our tickets, card only no cash. Entry is $30 or $18 for seniors. There are many paved and gravel walking paths. The was a QR code to scan for a map but after scanning we had to download an app which I did not do. There are different areas representing different ecosystems. The plants and trees are very well marked with their name and a brief description.
There were markers throughout the gardens for a kids scavenger hunt
Mounts is very close to Palm Beach airport and planes flew overhead head constantly.
We spent just over one hour in the gardens. They have a very well stocked gift shop with garden items and tee shirts.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Donna L.West Bridgewater, MA5190101Apr 18, 2024

Great views!
Highly recommended for all ages. I, personally, could've spent a full day reading under the shade of the trees. Quiet and serene. This is a great way to spend time in nature without the nature trying to spend time with you.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Apr 12, 2024
What a beautiful serene place to visit. Definitely buy the fish food in the beginning to feed the massive koi fish. If you're into Morikami, you will love this garden. So much to look at and many photo opps. Beware of the influencers in the wild but you can spend hours and hours here and have a lovely peaceful afternoon. The girls at the front counter are super sweet and the gift shop has some nice items! Do not miss the vegetable garden, you may see a plane flying overhead.

We were so excited to finally check out Mounts botanical garden. We had seen pictures online that were absolutely gorgeous. We purposely waited for their free day to attend since the tickets normally cost $20 per per person. We were so excited and arrived promptly at 9 o'clock when they opened. There was also a very long separate line for the tree give away but sadly we didn't have a place to plant the trees so we went directly to the garden. Upon arriving, we were told in the gift shop that we needed to pay $20 per person because we did not get the free trees. Clearly, this didn't make sense. It was not listed on their website. It was not listed in their flyer. We assumed the people in the gift shop were incorrect and proceeded to the garden. A few minutes later a young man came to the garden to tell us that we had to get our free trees or pay.
Fine, we walked back only to be advised that they had run out of trees. At this point I felt like I was in the twilight zone. According to these people In order to get free entry you have to get a free tree, but they were out of trees.
After I showed the employees their own website and explained once again that I didn't want the trees but would take them if I had to in order to gain free entry and asked them to please produce 6 trees (I already knew they were out) they agreed it didn't make sense.
I don't know if the intention behind this policy is to punish the PBC residents that are living in apartment buildings condominiums, or trailer homes but that is how it comes across.
Do better!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jan 7, 2024
This is a really lovely place to go to. Especially when the weather is cooler. In the summer it is quite unbearable. But nonetheless it's definitely a must see. The lady there told me that they are open even if it is raining. So there are no refunds. There is quite a bit of grounds to cover so it's best to wear comfortable walking shoes. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot. There's a lot to see

After much uncomfortableness and confusion upon entering through the gift shop whereby entry was supposed to be Free due to give away trees which were gone by 8:50 am but establishment didn't open until 9:am. She then demanded $20 entry fee. After much disputing their advertising flyer verses their website access was then granted. Once all was resolved Mount Botanical gardens was a nice experience. Thanks for allowing me to rate my experience!

This is a beautiful botanical garden. Parking is free. You pay the entrance fee inside. You can also buy pellets to feed the fish.
They have a really cool/nice gazebo in the garden that's a highlight there. It was nice to walk by the ponds and feed the fish. There are benches in the trail where you can sit and admire the garden if you like.
They have different plants, trees and flowers throughout.
The staff was really friendly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Roger S.San Francisco, CA021Feb 19, 2024
The Garden should be open on Presidents Day.
It would be the perfect get-away for families on this day when parents are home with their kids.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Catherine M.Boynton Beach, FL40196303Jan 23, 2024
This is a nice place to see local flora. There are different gardens including vegetable and butterfl. The hedge maze was fun. The only reason for nor 5 stars is tgat it is in the flight path of the airport and the air traffic is distracting. All you n all I'd return at different seasons to see the gardens at different stages.
