Red Roof Inn Shreveport

If I could give this place a negative rating, the scale couldn't handle it. Ok.. so my first room had holes in the walls stuffed with towels or paper towels. Hole in the door stuffed with paper. Floors so dirty, that I didn't want my dog walking on them. Comforter full of cigarette holes. Shower... what shower. No water flow or hot water. But that's just the start. The water handle just spins and spins. And the shower head didn't work. Tub so nasty, had to put a towel down just to stand in it. Then, we go to the second room that's worse than the first. Not to mention the holes, the dirty floors, .. but now we have roaches. A microwave with no turn plate. A shower head that's hanging by a thread.. BUT MOLD!!!
Oh and not to mention, in the first room, the air conditioner/ heater didn't work. Or the lights. The second room.. OMG... the unit we though would explode if we touched it. If I had my dogs bed, I would have slept in it. I at least knew, his bed was clean. And it had not been cold outside, I would have slept in my car. Oh, and the room keys didn't work. What else could go wrong you ask... well, look at my pictures and you tell me. Not to mention they never dust...

DO NOT STAY HERE. By far the worst place I have ever stayed at. Stopped at this location while we were on a road trip. Trusted the "brand name" we knew it wouldn't be the best place but thought it would be descent. No. We had already paid and there was no refund. I didn't want to sleep under the covers nor take a shower at this place. Don't stay here. The hotel room literally smells like pee.
The towels were not changed they were still hanging from previous people. The bed sheets, the walls, the floor, the whole room had stains new ones and very old ones.

Re writing this review : same room we always get. Less than a year later our same room has really gone down. It's 36* and the heater only blows cold air. Called the desk and they didn't have any solution other than moving to another room. All we asked for was a space heater. Room looks like they just gave up on this property location. I will be finding another hotel for a future trips here. Thank You

This was by far the worse hotel room I have ever witnessed... and I have seen some doozies. When I say witness I kid you not. Blood spatter, smashed non functioning a/c, mold on literally everything. I can go on and on but how about you avoid this place like the plague... cuz it might just actually give you the plague.

The worst motel/hotel experience I've ever had! No remote on tv, no phone, room absolutely filthy! We requested a handicapped room but received a double full on the second floor. We were told that our room was the last available room upon check in, and, of course, there was a no refund policy, despite it being their screw up. Because it was so late when we got there, we ended up toughing it out and staying. I tried to call red roof inn but hung up after an hour of being on hold. The air did not work, could not get anyone to answer when we called! We messed around with it for a good 30 minutes before it finally turned on! My husband wanted to just leave and find something elsewhere but I didn't want to just eat the cost of the room! So we stayed and got up super early

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! BED BUGS!!!! I was awakened in the wee hours by incessant itching on my left hand. I tuned the light on to see a bed bug on my pillow. As I sat up the bed had 2 more crawling mid bed. I had welts on my left hand, right wrist, and my right side from my hip to knees. I looked across at the other bed, and my employee was sleeping with a bed bug 10" from his face. I woke him and he leapt from the bed. I captured the 3 bugs in a cup as proof. We went to the desk and canceled our stay. The clerk canceled our second night, and I guess that will eventually post a credit to my card for the night we didnt stay, but I told her that I expected a full refund as we didn't pay for the privilege of being eaten by bugs in their fine establishment. She said ok. I'll tell the manager. Both the booking agency and I reached out to them over a day and a half, but no response. Finally this morning, the booking agent contacted me to say he had made contact with the manager and was told there wasn't going to be a refund for the BED BUG infested night's stay. Sooo as of this morning, I've gone to urgent care as my left hand has swollen almost twice the size of my right hand, which was diagnosed as an infection from the BED BUG bites, and was administered antibiotics and steroids to stave off the swelling and spread of the infection. See pics attached. Upon further inspection, the room was filthy. The only maintenance being changing towels and making the beds apparently. Of course I'm like most people, you book a cheap room, you're not expecting your home standards, just a clean bed and shower. But now I will never look at this issue the same way again. You're trusting based on the exchange of money for services that those accommodations would atleast be clean and free of predatory bugs. You don't think that a single nights stay would require antibiotics and steroids for inflammation. It's hard to believe even after the gen manager was given the details and shown pics, he still refused to refund ONE night. You have been warned. Another reviewer posted his bad experience with this location, and listed a long line of issues and suggested he wouldn't be surprised if they had BED BUGS. Well speculate no more my friend. There be BED BUGS in them rooms!j

The room was disgusting. No lights worked, cracked winow, mold, busted TV, and many other things. We found pills on the floor the next day which I'm glad our dogs didn't get ahold of!!!! I wouldn't be coming back and I wouldn't recommend this hotel spot to anyone.

This place is disgusting. It took me 30 minutes just to check in, with the noticeable "no refunds, no exceptions" policy proudly posted. The receptionist lady (who was nice) informed me that they didn't have the room I reserved, and if I wanted to upgrade there would be an additional charge. She found another similar room at the same rate and it is absolutely disgusting. Holes in the wall, no lamp shades, stains and tears in the bedspread and chair. I felt like I caught bed bugs just walking into the thing. Oh yeah, and the toilet doesn't flush. I would give it zero stars if I had the option to do so.

Bathroom is absolutely disgusting. Only staying here because I have no choice due to work. I would never pay to stay in this filth.

No stars. This place was flat out NASTY. Non smoking room reeked of stale cigarette smoke. There was a roach in the sink,the shower curtain bar was falling off the wall, stains on the wall,cigarette burns on the bedding, no back on the remote control, and the ac looked like it would not even work but it did surprisingly. The WiFi was not working so I called the front desk and the lady said she would reset it and hung up on me. It never did work the whole time we were there. We would have gone somewhere else if it had not been 1130 at night. As soon as we got up we got the hell out of there. One of the absolute worst places I have ever stayed.
