Okay I've been here twice since my original review. Still somewhat understaffed but doing a good job.
Burger and fries done well. A real plus is having a couple of local craft brews on tap.
Up one star to three.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jun 12, 2012Previous reviewI feel kind of bad for this place. We went straight to the bar and waited as the two frantic waitresses danced around waiting tables and carrying food. They were obviously understaffed, but really? Only two waitresses and no bartender at a place that's no more than a glorified pub? We ordered cheeseburgers that came cooked to our liking, but was underseasoned and forgettable. Pricing is good but I can't see any real reason to return. In my opinion there's a pizza hut down the road...try that instead. At least you'll know what your in store for...

This place was very convenient next to the holiday inn express. Good place to bring the kids for dinner. Food was good -- better than expected. Service friendly and quick. Will definitely come back when in town for another hockey tournament.

It's our normal happy hour spot, we have our own way to order the waffle fries that they never fail to make to perfection!

Good pub spot. Loved the atmosphere, the nice staff, and the food. I recently went here with my sisters and we had a good time. We shared some pizza, wings, and fries. We had some talks while enjoying the food.

Service has gone downhill since we started eating here a year ago. Waitstaff are order takers, they don't deliver the food. They don't come back and ask if everything is okay. If you ask for steak sauce or Parmesan cheese it takes forever to get it. They are quick to see if you want more alcohol. Our appetizer order was wrong, we sent it back to get the right one. Our entree came out never saw the appetizer. Waitress told us we should have told her. We told the food runner it was wrong. Waitress wasn't around. It's a staffing issue not hers. Three waitresses and full restaurant. We Don't mind waiting for good food. We understand the kitchen must be busy and understaffed if the front is.
Our entree was good. Beer menu great. We had to tell the waitress to take the undelivered appetizer off our bill, it's happened before with undelivered beverages. Watch your bill.
New thing on bill is a convenience fee. We weren't told about it or what it was. Not sure we'll return. Their menu prices increased not sure why they are charging that fee. You can tell service has gone down with Health inspection rate down from 98 to 86 that something is wrong.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Seapod A.NC, NC0208Jul 3, 2023
We stopped in from out of town and tried the place out. My kids cheese pizza looked really good and she confirmed it was. Mine and my wife's burger was pretty good. Service for drinks was a little slow which was odd since it wasn't all that busy. We will come back and try it again. All around pretty decent.

Place is trash. Beer in a plastic cup. Ordered the prime rib French dip, got a Walmart steack'em sandwich for 20$. Brought my salad out w my sandwich and asked me if I was ready to cash out. Better off w some tall bush lattes and McDonald's. Atleast you know what your getting.

Some days it was good. Some days not. They're pretty expensive for mediocre food. But it's basically the only "restaurant" around. Service was ok. I give that a 4/5. There's this girl there that makes the best strawberry margaritas tho. Those are a 10/10. Lol. But I'm a traveler I've tried many diff foods and this was not in my top 5.

We walked in and the waitress told us to seat ourselves and the tables and floors were dirty and there was only one other family in there. The food was mediocre there was no seasoning on any of the food we ordered brisket and Gouda smothered in gravy poutine and the brisket was sandwich corn beef slices. And it was frozen fries and packet gravy on the side. My sister got a buffalo chicken Mac and cheese which was completely separated, curdling and tasted like butter noodles with a mild buffalo sauce on the side. I ordered a burger medium rare which was 2 frozen 10-1 patties cooked together with a piece of cheese and grilled onions in the middle overly cooked. They put my sauce on the side and my burger was soaked in grease and I couldn't even pick it up when they brought it to me. The coleslaw on the side tasted like mushy kfc coleslaw the waitresses hid in the back and took forever to get us our orders and when we told them the food was flavorless and the Mac and cheese was separated she told us there's nothing she can do about it. It was supposed to be that way, argued with my sister about it being busy (my sister and I have worked in the waitressing and food industry for 10+ years) and she didn't know what she was talking about and continued to walk past the dirty tables to hide in the back. I would not go there. From the outside it looks like a beautiful place and it's decorated nicely but you'd have better food and it'd be cheaper at the 6 local fast food places in town.

Monday, bar busy, which makes for a good evening, until we sat at bar and bertener/ waitress served us beers, which was quick. All down hill from there. She too busy taking orders and cleaning up to take our food order( 20 minutes) then when we got it... obvious, frozen burger, patty, and cold french fries with gravy. First and last visit. Sorry

Been here three or four times. Service in the bar is great, table service was slow and seemed disconnected. Last time there we ordered a pizza, which was OK, not the best, butnot bad at all. We ordered wings, there were perfectly cooked crispy, side of hot sauce was not just a Franks. Great garlic parm wings, only complaint is Market Price means $18 for 6 wings. That's just too much, I thought an $18 order would be at least 10 wings. Honestly we didn't ask how many would be in the order.
