I researched farms very carefully and found that Morning Star farms was renowned for safety and care. The caring instructors at Morning star have given my daughter a new found passion for riding. We have been riding there for three years with only great things to say.. I can't stress enough to research your farms and find one you can trust. Thanks to Shelly and Judy's love and patience not only is Hayden back on the horse, but now cantering and jumping! Check out the Sunday morning morning horsemanship which not only a lesson but teaches your child about horsemanship, horses and safety.
The farm its self is picturesque with rolling hills, beautiful happy horses grazing and a very welcoming family.
Thank you guys so much for restoring our faith and teaching my daughter such amazing form!

My genuine thanks and love go out to Judy & Shelly.
It has been two years since I started my animal communication work. I didn't know where to start. I knew I wanted to work with all kinds of animals, but horses held a special place in my heart. As a result of Judy & Shelly's generosity, I had the opportunity to work side by side with their horses. At first, they weren't sure what to expect, and I was ill-advised to explain the process. I have worked with many humans but never animals. A chance was taken with me, and amazing things happened. Through our work, I learned how to communicate with horses and help heal their past dramas, and Judy & Shelly's horses were able to get the help they needed.
Morning Star farm is a special place. I have been to many horse farms since and I have never seen two humans care and love for their animals as much as Judy and Shelly do. They are true heroes, who have saved countless animals and their work with neurodivergent children & adults has left me speechless. The love they have for their animals and clients is endless and that is a special gift to have! Thank you, Judy & Shelly, for being my teachers of all things horses and giving back to this world in a way most people can't even imagine.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael M.Stanhope, NJ3673Nov 20, 2023
After 2 toxic farms in 18 months , we were concerned. Judy welcomed us with open arms. (We waited for the next shoe to drop.) The professional conduct is second to none. Our horse is top shelf. And he is treated as such. The other farms he was treated like a concentration camp. Our horse is treated like a Champion. The board fees are very reasonable and fair. We are satisfied beyond measure.

This farm quickly becomes a family. My oldest daughter (17) began riding 7 years ago and my younger daughter (11) began 2 years ago. They cannot get enough. The owners are wonderful people and excellent instructors. Their farm help is also terrific. My girls learned so much about horses in general and have grown to love "their horses" as they refer to them. Their lessons have helped them to grow up to be confident young women.

I suffer from back and neck problems. I also have had 4 concussions as falling is a major problem for me. I am a senior learner but actually started riding horses as the age of 7 years. I just started with Morning Star stables. They take their commitment to riding lessons quite seriously. They are patient and kind and are super certified as therapeutic teachers. I never thought I would be "back in the saddle again" but I am. I don't know how far I will get but I am certain Morning Star Farm is the place for me. My doctors approve. They work with seriously disabled people and people like myself. They have 42 horses so you have a range of mounts from which to select. They know horses very well and I trust them. With this stable you have young instructors, serious riders and people like me who have health issues. I feel blessed to have found this place. My schedule is set up for the next month. Horseback riding can be scary especially when you have been away from it for a long time. If your situation is similar to mine, please feel confident with Morning Star, their instructors and their dedication to teaching. If you are scared, don't be. These people and their staff are dedicated professionals.

Fantastic in every way!! Professional, experienced, welcoming, trustworthy, dedicated...I could go on. Hands down the most wonderful people you could find. We have many experiences with beautiful Morning Star. My daughter worked there for years, made many friendships and rode their wonderful horses and she learned so much, as did we. Recently we boarded our own there and, though it is difficult to leave your horses in the care of others, we always knew that they provided the very best care. We have found lifelong friends in Judy and Shelly. They help us with our own facility to this day, and we couldn't be more grateful for them! xo

Family run farm with the extra feel of coming home when we visit. We often joke that when you have a bad day - going here is a great way to reduce your stress by seeing a horse.
My whole family loves coming up - from my 3 year old to my 8 year old they all get excited. Each rides a pony best suited to them - they do the best they can to match your child with the personality of the horse.
I highly recommend you give them a call to start riding today.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I've been riding with these wonderful people for about 4 years! Shelly and Judy and their employs themselves, they are such sweethearts to me and my family, they are such a great team and couldn't ask for better! They are so amazing and I love them so much. Riding horses has been very calming for me and makes me feel safe and controlled with the things going on with my life I can't thank them enough for everything they have done for me. They are so sweet to everyone and are such amazing people I'd highly recommend them if you want to enroll your child in horseback-riding.
