Yes! They're usually on a separate menu on the table but your server will tell you about them too.

Montana Grille was our stop on a Saturday night. We suggest getting there at 5:30pm, no wait and walked right in. This was our first time we visited. LOVED their jalapeño bread they provided to us. Hot and Tasty.
We ordered the fried green tomatoes and onion soup for appetizer. Onion soup was delicious. Fried green tomatoes were not your typical cuts, they were of the chunks.
I ordered the Wagyu burger, they recommended to have it MR. It was definitely bloody.
My wife ordered the Rib Eye. It was nothing out of the ordinary.
We enjoyed the atmosphere and customer service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 208002596Dec 30, 2023
Packed on Saturday night. Hostess and the staff were super friendly. It was looking like a 45 min wait at 5:30 pm. We came early thinking we'd beat the crowd. So either everyone was thinking the same thing as us, or Bowling Green just eats early. We actually decided to try Rafferty's down the street, but it too was a long (hour) wait. I figured let's go back and try MG because I think Raffertys is a chain and I'd rather try something local, although the name (Montana) had me wondering how local this place really was.
While we waited we went to the bar for some beers. While there I asked the bar tender if we could just order from the bar and they said sure. So we did.
The complimentary jalapeño corn bread in a skillet was a good start to the meal. They do have a kids meal and my kid got the little partner burger. It came with cheese, chips and a drink.
Adults got the big horn prime rib medium rare with baked potato as the side, fully loaded. And also the Carson City Ribeye medium well with asparagus spears. Both were cooked nicely although the latter has a little too much char in some places leaving it with a kind of burnt taste.
We couldn't do desert as we were stuffed by the end. The prices were more reasonable compared to what we experienced downtown the other day. And there was none of that 3% surcharge for using a credit card that we experienced downtown. Would definitely recommend this place over driving downtown for a high end meal.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - Apr 16, 2024
Enjoyed a lovely dinner on a weekday evening. The weather was nice so we sat on the covered patio. We were a group of seven and service was fast and attentive. We started off with the delicious cornbread that the entire table loved. My meal was the tasty and filling bbq chicken sandwich. The pot pie was good as well. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

You walk in and immediately get steakhouse vibes and a very welcoming hostess/hostesses. I ordered the sirloin and garlic mashed potatoes, I ordered the steak medium rare. The steak came out very tough and more on the medium side. And the garlic mashed potatoes came out cold with a bean in it and also a hair in it. I brought it to the manager attention immediately. She fully apologized for the kitchens mishaps, and offered to bring me a new steak and potatoes out . The new steak was perfectly cooked, and the potatoes were hot and fresh. The server also apologized even tho she had nothing to do with any of the mishap. Big thank you to the manager/server for making things right.

This is not our first time to Montana Grille, the atmosphere is so cozy and nice. It smells like a campfire when you walk in! Their cornbread is delicious. The chocolate martini was great as well. The crispy fried green tomatoes were a little underdone but ultimately were good. The prime rib cuts were a little inconsistent. Flavor was good, but my little horn prime rib was the exact same size as the big horn prime rib. My mashed potatoes were literally the consistency of soup. They were not seasoned at all and had zero flavor - tasted like instant mashed potatoes. I've had these from here before and I know they could be better but these were awful! Our waiter, Sebastian, was super nice and a great waiter! He offered to replace my side (I was a bit too full by that point haha) and also offered a dessert in replacement for my sub par mash. He definitely attempted to make up for the kitchen's mistake. If not for the inconsistent cuts and watery instant mashed potatoes, it would've gotten a 5 star rating.

Growing up in Bowling Green, Montana Grille was always a favorite spot for celebrations and my most recent visit affirmed how great it still is! The jalapeño cornbread in a skillet was a personal favorite while we waited for the meal. I ordered a side salad which was huge (enough for two) with fresh veggies. The chicken pot pie was hot and filling!! My friend ordered the steak and enjoyed it as well. Love the atmosphere - very cozy by the fireplace vibes, almost like you're at a cabin in the woods far away from BG!! The service was some of the best I've ever experienced! Our waiter was kind and super attentive - refilling water and checking in on us throughout the meal. We had a great experience!! Thank you so much!

Stopped here passing by after a long drive. The inside felt like a cabin. The manager and waitress were excellent. They were very friendly and efficient. This rating is based on the quality of the food. I ordered the Thai chicken with mashed potatoes. For a 20 dollar meal, I was expecting a decent meal. It came with 2 thin sliced chicken breasts. The chicken was swimming in the Thai sauce. It did not compliment the chicken well at all because it fell right off the chicken and was not "coated" in it. It turned more into a dipping sauce than anything. The chicken was poor quality and also not very juicy. The mashed potatoes were good, but they're definitely made from a boxed mashed potatoes box. It also had a bean in it from something else made in the kitchen. I did not mention that I didn't like the food to the waitress because I was starving and didn't feel like waiting for something else. From reading prior reviews, I was expecting a great meal, but was very let down. Unfortunately, wish I would've stopped at a fast food place instead.

Service was really bad, apps were served before our drinks arrived. Wagyu burger was served on a McDonalds bun. Trout was breaded too much, it took over the dish.

Typical chain lack of attention to detail. In my opinion, overpriced for the quality of the food. I had a $20 chef's salad that had an ample amount of meat, but piled on top of a cheap iceberg lettuce mix. Wife had French onion soup and a wedge salad, both of which were pretty average.
