In the early nineties I took a computer course here. I think of this incident often feeling it's now time to speak... so that's why I'm late on this review. The teacher was Mr White. Upon completion of one of our tests he noted at the top of my test... that I passed with an A. Noted that I NEEDED SENSITIVITY TRAINING. Well Mr White first of all it was not your job to address what you might of thought I needed, your job was to grade the test and second I never meant what you were accusing me of... seems you may need the sensitivity training for thinking that in the first place. I'm not rating the college with a one star here, I'm rating this teacher.

Has a call line you can connect with 7 days a week.
4 remote locations you can access for on ground classes.
Has a wide variety of degrees and certifications to pick from.
Sign up early, don't wait for classes to show up.
Staff are nice and help you study if needed.
Would highly recommend.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Dan C.Las Vegas, NV56101May 7, 2019
If you're thinking about going here, don't. I wouldnt even consider this a school. It's a few portable buildings dropped in the middle of the desert. However, they did remodel the cafeteria, and "administration" building. Every semester they seem to drop, or add classes, and the teachers are always new. My entire time here I learned very little, and it seemed like they're more concerned about getting money. Now to the fun part. On my two year degree (I was on the Dean's list for most of my enrollment) I completed all my required classes but one semester. I had personal issues the semester prior, and has to retake my last semester there. When I applied for an appeal for my financial aid, the counselor that I spoke to told me that she was going to recommend denying it because she didnt feel that I could graduate. I asked her why she thought that considering I have had a 3.9 GPA there the entire time, and that I was four classes away from my 2 year degree. Her response was that she didnt actually look at my transcript. But, she just felt I couldnt do the last semester... I asked her about paying out of pocket, and she said that I could. I paid out of pocket, and was dropped immediately from my classes because I was a dollar short in my account at 2 am when they tried to make the withdrawal. Called the school that same day at around 9 am, and asked them to make the debit again. I was told.that it was too late, and that I now owe them for these classes that I cant take. Long story short, I have tons of debt for a degree that I gained nothing from, and have nothing to show for. Avoid this dump at all cost.

Make sure you do your own investigating of which classes you need. I finished all the classes that I was told I needed in order to get into a program and then went to apply and they told me I missed a class. I was never told about the class. Also if this happens. There is a way around it. You have to get paperwork that allows you to skip a class and still move on or you can test out of the class. Always ask what your options are. ALL the options. Also I put in for my diploma in March and it's been 9 months and nobody can tell me where my diploma is, if it was sent, when it was sent, nothing. So here I am. A graduate without a piece of paper for 9 months C:

The admissions office is ran like a welfare office, with people waiting in one line just to wait another line. Thank God I only have to step foot in here about once a year. Get your act together please.

Cannot recommend, many of the best instructors have been run off by a mean spirited micromanaging administration. The school is the most soulless, anti-intellectual place I have ever witnessed. A few good programs survive in spite of horrible leadership from the administration. Welding is one of the great programs, Culinary has recently been decimated and there is nothing left. Most of the science programs are underfunded with a high turnover of instructors. Registration, and student services are a complete mess, resulting in low enrollment and a campus that looks like a ghost town. A very sad place and it's the upper administration's fault.
