Redeemer Church

I am in town for a week visiting family and wanted to find a church to go to. I had seen signs for Redeemer walking up and down Broadway so I looked up the web site. It seemed like it would be a good place to check out, so I decided to go to the 4:30pm service. Redeemer is a newly opened church holding services in the Vida Real International church building. I arrived and was greeted by Grace who gave me a program and told me a bit about the church service. I went to sit down inside and was approached by a few other folks, including the lead pastor Claude. Everyone was very kind and welcoming, definitely not overbearing...very friendly and humble. The service consists of music led by a guitarist/singer as well as a message from Claude. I really enjoyed the intimacy of the service, as the group is not large, and the casual nature of everyone attending. If you are looking for a place where you can go to worship without pressure or fear, Redeemer would be right for you. It's ashamed I will not be in the area longer because I would like to see how the church grows under the leadership of what seems to be a very gifted and talented minister.
