This is not the kind of place I "go."

I'm not a boutique shopper; I tend away from dresses; and I hate spending money on clothes.

But even stingy, hand-me-down-lovin' me found a $15 dress I will wear to the next fancy schmance.

And I found it quickly--I'm a hunter, not a gatherer, so any time I can eyeball something on a hanger and have a perfect match, I am a MUCH happier shopper.

They have a small but very spacious storefront with plenty of fitting rooms.

Staff was very nice, even though this brown girl strolled in wearing kicks and laundry-day jeans.

I might, just might, wander in there again someday...

I bought one of my absolute cutest dress ever for my 21st birthday just about 3 years ago from this place... truly a princess dress for the big 21.

For some reason after that, I sort of forgot about it until I started the hunt for a dress for my 24th this weekend. Re-discovered this place and although I didn't find the one here this time, I still do like their style and designs in general!

I wish I had known about this store earlier. There are so many cute, unique, and fun items here. There are stylish dresses and accessories. I tried on this dress, but it just didn't look good on me. I think I was bloated that day. They have great sales, and the sales person is pretty helpful and friendly. I will definitely stop back in to check out more things stuff there.

UNREAL sales right now (1/25/09)

Ridiculous sales, two adorable Kenzie plaid coats for $27.00 (which doesn't seem right but it's true.) Also two Shoshanna bathing suits (I was dying for the one but I couldn't buy the C/D top just because it was cheap.) VERY cute, so if more endowed ladies- get over there tomorrow and get this adorable brown and turq heart bikini!

Merchandise seemed low recently, probably because of winter but I have been before and they have great lines. Always friendly staff, and cute lines. Great stop for inexpensive, nice jewlery as well!

Love it! I try to stop in every so often to see what new things they've gotten and if anything is on sale!

Though it can be pretty pricey, they do carry certain brands that are reasonably priced.

Allot of their stuff here is so Jackie O- classy with style!

I've got three words for you - accessories accessories accessories.

I didn't even pay any attention to the clothes because I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have fit me anyways, but the selection of necklaces and earrings and headbands (!!!!) was impressive. Like really impressive. And affordable. I got a beautiful, delicate necklace for about 25 bucks and a bejeweled vintage styled headband for about the same. Obviously, none of these items are "needs", but if you've got a twenty or two burning through your pocket you will have no problem spending it here!

Mint Julep is a cute store in Lincoln Park. I like it because it carries cute, affordable clothes that you wouldn't likely see on other people. I recently bought a silk chiffon dress here for a charity event a couple weeks ago and got so many compliments on the dress. Not to mention it was only $40 on sale! They carry nice stuff - some casual, some a little dressy. I feel like theres something for everyone here at this little boutique. Its a nice store to have in my neighborhood!

This is a GREAT boutique... They carry high-end to super affordable items...all current and super stylish. I try to stop in regularly to view the new merchandise and see what I can get on sale. I just bought an amazing dress (on sale) that I would have looked over if not for the super-friendly Sarah who encouraged me to try it on. And, recently, I got a great, 'conversation-piece' bracelet for $35!!!! Seriously, you can find such unique, yet trendy things for a great price...and all with great service. What's not to love?

This boutique is amazing! Don't buy anything full price as it'll probably go on sale within two weeks. Their selection is fantastic and the owner and sales people couldn't be more helpful. Last winter I was in desperate search of the sweater dress that doesn't add 20 pounds to the frame, and I left there with three different styles that I got compliments on all winter long! Their summer line is adorable as well--oh the danger of being right next to my Pilates studio.....

I love this place! I just went for the first time this past weekend, and I cant wait to go back. Their items are priced so well, I wanted everything! The jewelry is all so beautiful and the clothes arent bad either. ;) The sales associate was awesome as well, very friendly and helpful! so sweet. I will for sure be making this a normal stop from now on!
