Wow, this place is SMALL. I mean really small.

I walk in and I see exactly what I feel a comic book store should be (aside from the fact that it's really small). The stains on the floor are where they should be, a wall on the right side with new issues and the back issues inside long boxes stacked on top of each other making it difficult to go through. The owner is very enthusiastic about discussing back issues and other assorted comic book topics.

Yes, their back issues excruciatingly limited, a total of 12 boxes stacked on top of a brown collapsible table, but hold back issues I have never thought I could ever find. I scored issue 23 of Negation for $2 (take note, this title has not been around for almost 10 years).

All I know is that I can't wait to go back.

      Nuf Said.

Mint Condition was the place to go to in the 90's for comic books in Port Washington. Very friendly, and would hold comics for you in their "comics club".
The sports card section seemed foreign to me, and in retrospect they didn't have enough Don Mattingly rookie cards. If only they were able to get their hands on a copy back then...

Ahh, Mint Condition! When I was a kid, I was an avid collector of baseball & basketball cards, & this was my haven. The comic section seemed foreign & weird to me (& in retrospect, it seemed understocked). That's not my style. I was the sports kid. The owner used to try to pry my Don Mattingly rookie card away from me, but I never relented.

To be honest, I haven't set foot in this place in about a decade, but judging from the exterior, it's the same it's always been.

Tiny little place with a surprisingly big selection of back issues for it's size and a friendly staff. I always enjoy my time visiting this store, though parking is sometimes an issue.
