If I could do no stars I would. This year I took my deer to their processing section behind the store. It was a full sized adult Doe, and I basically just wanted it de-boned and the small stuff turned into burger (a 20 minute job max in a butcher shop). He said he was to busy to slice it into jerky sizes for me which was odd, but I said I'd do it myself at home then. 26 days later they finally finished my deer, and I went and got the meat. Upon arriving home I weighed it, and it was only 19 lbs of meat, which to me was probably 20-30 lbs short. Then I opened the first bag and the stench hit me. ALL the meat was spoiled, which is to be expected 26 days later without being frozen. I took the meat back the next day since I had to go to work and asked for a refund. The butcher said the meat was fine which is hard to believe with the stench and the visible rotten sections on all the meat. I also said how is there only 19 lbs from an adult deer, and he showed me the log saying the hanging weight was only 40 lbs for my deer. I have pictures of this deer, and its about as big as me and I'm 200 lbs. Obviously they had to cut away a large portion of the meat that was spoiled and tried to pawn this bad meat off on me. He would only offer me a partial refund which I refused cause I was already getting slapped in the face not having me deer meat and wasting a tag. I also went to the store and talked to the owner, who said the meat was not his problem and talk to the other guy. I WILL be reporting them to the game commission and I hope this keeps people from going to this location.
