Absolutely had the Time of our lives with mild to wild rafting. Specifically, Toby as a raft guide made everything just that much better.

It was my dads 75th birthday- I was with him, my step mother, husband and myself. It was absolutely perfect. If you can't get Toby, his bff on the River Kip is awesome too. 1000% will be back next summer to do it all over again. Everything was clean, safe, fun and chill with spectacular views. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic all-day Mesa Verde national park tour with Miles as our guide. We only had one other couple with us, which was nice. Miles took us to the best spots in the park, and he seemingly had answers to every question we asked. The included lunch isn't exactly extravagant, but the turkey sandwich with chips was fine, and we also got water throughout the day and snacks too. We'd definitely get another tour from them the next time we're in town.

Tosh was an AMAZING guide. He got to know each person in the group by name and our interests. He was a wealth of knowledge telling us about local plants, minerals and history. He had us laughing. He broke open ricks at a waterfall and sent us home with silver. Our family had a blast! Highly recommend!

Thank you Luke for the enjoyable trip down the river. Our group had young and old and very little coordination and we still had a good time as a group.

The river was low and relatively slow. The guides in the other boats worked in tandem to free each other on the exposed rocks.

It was on the mild side and we had opted for the half day trip.

Thank you Luke and company for the wonderful memory.

We did the half day white water rafting. Everyone was very friendly and told us everything we needed to know before heading out. You get a life jacket, helmet, and paddle. The life jackets were kind of smelly but could have been worse. Bring water bottle for the boat and put on sunscreen before.

We got a $12 waterproof reusable phone case that you can take pictures through from the gift shop. We were able to fit the car key in that rather than leaving it on the hooks they provide so I definitely recommend doing something like that.

Our guide was Brodie/Brody (not sure of spelling); he was great! Definitely seemed like an expert on the water. He was also able to point out different locations and information about the area as we went through. We enjoyed his recommendations in town and stories, it really made the trip entertaining. All of the guides seemed friendly and knowledgeable, I don't think you could go wrong.

The water was low so we did get stuck a couple of times, but Brodie quickly got us going again. It was not as fast and rough as my previous perception of white water rafting which was fine by me. It was nice to relax and float with no rigorous paddling involved. I believe there are different sections of the river to do if you want more of the thrill.

We got some good photos and purchased them at the end for $45. You get all the digital copies from your boat instantly.

Do it if you're visiting Durango!

We had a great experience at Mild to Wild Rafting! Admittedly, the river conditions were way less than wild, but we were advised of that condition before we made final arrangements but still wanted to have the experience. The company did a great job preparing us for the trip with good equipment and instruction. Most important, our guide (Ben) was amazing in the way he handled the boat, provided direction for paddling, and kept our movements effective and efficient. Ben is a great representative for the company.

First time rafting and it was incredible. The lower Animas river wasn't anything crazy - great for all ages and mostly a smooth ride. It took us about 3 hours and it was a safe and fun experience.

John P was our guide and he was very professional, friendly, and educated our group on rafting and the area as we were traveling down the river.

If you want a memorable adventure or a cool group activity - this is one of the best choices. We absolutely loved it.

      Tour: 3/4 Day River Tour

      Guides: Lily and Delan

      Overall Experience:

We had an absolutely amazing time on our 3/4 day river tour with Mild to Wild Rafting. Our guides, Lily and Delan, were top-notch. They were knowledgeable about the river, safety-conscious, and a lot of fun to be around. They made sure we had a great time on the rapids, but they also took the time to teach us about the plants and wildlife along the river.

      The Rapids:

We hit some great rapids on our trip, Lily and Delan were great at helping us navigate the rapids and keep our rafts safe. We even got to do some swimming in the calmer parts of the river.

      The Scenery:

The scenery along the Animas River is absolutely stunning. We saw towering cliffs and lush forests. It was the perfect way to experience the beauty of the Colorado wilderness.

      Overall:

A group of us did a the 4 day trip through Lodore Canyon with Mild to Wild. As with most rafting companies there is no alcohol provided, but you can bring your own and they will store it in a cooler. Since they do not have an office in Vernal they have to transport everything via vehicle. At the end of the trip the cooler was nowhere to be seen and they decided they should confiscate the beer, wine and hard liquor that was left over. This is theft. When I contacted Mild2Wild about this they blackballed me and told me I was not welcome on any of their trips. I was not rude - I just asked what their policy was in this regard.
Don't go with this company if you think you may want to carry anything of value because it might get "misplaced."

We did the 4 hour jeep tour with Jerry. We would have tipped him, but . . . We had no idea we would need cash. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE CASH!!!!!! Also, make sure you ask for Jerry! This was the most fun thing to do. We were skeptical, but we laughed the whole time! He was so funny and he had such wonderful information about the history of the town and the places he took us. Also make sure you wear a jacket, it does get cold up in the mountains. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to have a great time. Make sure you ask for Jerry@
