Take a step back in time and give your family or loved one a night to remember by adding this to your summer bucket list! Nostalgia at its best in all aspects- concessions stands with retro movie posters and food equipment, and the original "intro" theme on the screen (our favorite)
Came here as a child and having even more fun re creating memories with my family! Midway, don't change a thing! Classic is best!
Pro tips- we bring air mattress with portable pump and pillows and blankets with us for ultimate comfort. New pro tip would be to bring a battery powered radio so you don't have to worry or mess with running your car to listen to the radio station that airs the audio.

Awesome drive in that doesn't get crazy crowded! Concessions are good and everything is really well priced!

I couldn't have been happier when I discovered there was a drive-in so near my new adopted home, and I was not disappointed when we showed up there last year. We've been back many times since.

The food is more than decent, especially compared with typical movie theater food, the playground up by the screen is nice touch, so you're not stuck with antsy kids if you show up long before the movie starts. Plus, of course, you get two movies for less than the cost of one at an indoor theater.

Let's all hope this place stays open for a long, long time!

It was worth the money just for the experience alone. Then you add the fact that you can take a bit more then the average theater. It felt like hanging out with friends rather then just watching a movie next to each other.

Best drive in ever! Have been coming for years from Chicago burbs for the dusk till dawn horror fest in the fall! Food is awesome and the cheeseburgers are the best! They recently converted to digital and picture is very bright! Can't wait for the dusk till dawn fest again!

Mia is always so nice to us each time we are there in our little green Nissan cube! Mia, Mike and their staff are what makes this place so enjoyable!!! Thanks guys for all you do!

Is was a great experience overall and well worth the cost of $9 to see two movies. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. All the other patrons were quiet and considerate and focused on the movie instead of partying. There were many families watching the movie outside their cars in chairs or gates lifted. There was no overly long wait or lines between movies to push the concession stand. It was a nice evening and the last movie finished at a reasonable hour.

Love this place! good old outdoor movie fun. $10 bucks got us(2 people) in for 3 movies on this 4th of July weekend. You can pack your lawn chairs and sit outside or stay in your car. The concession stand food is reasonbably priced.

seriously why is there no review for this amazing gem of a drive in!!?? went here over the summer and it was a blast from the past. even some of the ads in the beginning of the movie were old school. very nostalgic.

drive in movie theaters are hard to find and i drove about 1 hour 45 min to make it to this one and it was WELL worth my time and i know it'll be well worth yours. check the website before you go so you know what's playing!

The Midway Drive-In is a true gem. We drive an hour to get there, and boy is it worth the trip!

It is a real bargain. You get two movies (new ones) for the price of one. They have a cute playground for the kids in front of the screen. The sound is great - you tune it in on your car radio. The screen is HUGE and the picture is nice and bright. A really nice nostalgic touch is they play the nostalgic drive-in concession films before the first movie and during intermission.

The concession stand is very clean and is modeled to look just like a diner from the 1950's (with restaurant booths and juke boxes on the wall). The staff is nice and friendly. The concession prices are VERY reasonable (about half of what you pay at an indoor theatre). Very family friendly.

My only complaint is I wish they would be open all year round!

Very good drive in. Staff is nice and the prices are reasonable. The owner goes out of his way to make sure you have a great movie-going experience.
