This medical transportation company sucks they can't even show up to get me on time they were 25 minutes late I hope nobody decides to use this company

Providence taxis are unprofessional in general in comparison to taxi services in bigger cities. For some reason, whenever I take a taxi in Providence to/from the airport or to/from the train station, total costs for the trip tend to fluctuate more than they should, especially when I forget to confirm the price of the trip with the dispatcher prior. So in this gypsy cab-like taxi market that is Providence, Metro taxi is just like every other cab company. The driver may or may not know where he's going, the cab may be more or less clean, the driver may or may not add an additional baggage charge for a suitcase he doesn't touch but sees you handle. The only difference between Metro and other cab services is that the cars are more likely not to stall than some other sole proprietor cabs I've had the pleasure of stepping into. Cash required for short haul trips less than $25.

I was Trying to catch a bus at 11:45am this morning at Kennedy Plaza. I distinctly told the operator this at 10:45 am and he said the driver would be there at 11:30. This makes sense in the context that the distance is a half mile away. The driver finally got there at 11:44. Needlessly missed the bus. Should have walked. The driver also was threatening when I didn't want to leave a tip. Swell company

Used them at least 2 other times for trips to airport or train station. Prompt, reliable and take Amex cool. Today car is 5 min late so I call. "They are dispatched will check with driver"then get a call from driver 5 min later " I am almost there" sorry blah blah blah. Shows up 25 min late as I pull up to station he says only cash.....no cash in pocket.
