I have a leak in one of my tires so I called in to the service department today to try and get it taken care of. I purchased the tire protection plan at a substantial cost so I am pretty much stuck getting the tire repaired/replaced at a dealership. The woman I spoke to on the phone had absolutely zero interest in helping me and told me the next appointment was 6 days out, and the next available loaner would be "next month".
So the question becomes, "what the hell good is a tire protection plan if you have to go a week without a car every time you need to use it." Normally, I would just call a local shop and get my tire fixed/replace same day, but having wasted thousands of dollars on tire protection plan I would be silly to pay for what I should be getting for free.
Total bait and switch. If they told people at purchase that they would have to wait a week to get a simple tire repair/replacement no one would buy it.
I get the feeling they just don't want to be bothered, especially when their answer is "you could just try another Mercedes dealership". A new BMW is sounding better every day.
Edit: After my review the service manager Lou reached out and was able to get me in that week. Tire was fixed and car given back detailed/washed. There was still a big SNAFU where they held it for 2 days before even checking to see if they had the tire in stock (they didn't) but I appreciate Lou resolving the issue.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

My vehicle has had a water intrusion problem since October 2021 and they still have not fixed the problem and they have had my vehicle for 2 months for the latest repairs.
Yes, they gave me a loaner, but it is too small to meet my needs. I also can't take my dog to the Vet or to the groomer in the loaner because animals are not permitted in the vehicles. Oh and another thing, I cannot take the loaner on my annual vacation to Cape Cod because I am limited to the tri-state area, so now I need to rent a car for 2 weeks.
All I want is to get out of the vehicle because it is unsafe. I'm sure it must have a mold problem and it has developed multiple electrical problems due to the water damage.
Now I know why Consumer Reports ranked Mercedes-Benz 26th out of 28 auto manufacturers for Owner Satisfaction!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

We had a great experience leasing our new SUV from MB of Greenwich. I credit our Sales associate Tommie Chen with helping us find what we needed within our set budget. He was honest, transparent and steered us in the perfect direction. Tommie heard what we wanted and what we didn't and never made us feel like we were being pushed into something. We love our new vehicle and our experiences with the entire team at MB of Greenwich have been great. We would highly recommend either leasing or purchasing a car from them!

I had my car in the shop, and they gave me an electric car as a loaner. I didn't know at the time there was a difference between the different charging ports. I went to Mercedes and they informed me that I needed a high energy port, or it would take six hours to charge my vehicle. Thomas Chen sat in my vehicle with me and helped me find the nearest port, and explained everything to me in such detail it made my experience less stressful.

We have been buying cars from this dealership for approximately 30 years and have bought many cars and had them all serviced there. In recent months our experience with Greenwich Mercedes has deteriorated considerably. Things started to go south when we bought a car that was missing several key features we had requested. We were then passed around within the company and ultimately told there was nothing that could be done and offered a small compensation. We were also told we had to wait many months before we could get the car, only to find out it didn't have the features we had jwanted. In addition, I was told things like the staff felt " threatened " by me. Obviously I was extremely frustrated with this whole ordeal but that was a ridiculous over reaction.

If you want the worst service for a "luxury" car dealership, you found your place.
I've been here multiple times for service and each time it gets worse and worse. First initially the communication was awful. They would never update me on my car. I always dropped off my car for appointments made early AM for routine service. Once it started getting late and I never heard anything I would call to get an update. They would say they need to keep my car overnight. I was not planning on my car for being longer than a night and would've liked a heads up so I could make work arrangements since I wouldn't have my car.
Now my most recent time, communication was improved. They give you a nice video and text you updates on your car. Once I was called that my car was ready for pickup, I got to the dealership and paid. It took over a half hour to get my car. Apparently they were "backed up" but I didn't see many people going about. Not to mention two men who came in after me got their cars within 10 minutes. Finally after going up for the second time and a half hour of waiting my car was brought within 5 minutes. I had wanted to forget my experience with Robidio and MB of Greenwich last summer but then I came across the reviews on Yelp. I made an appt for warranty work last summer. Instead of performing the work, he presented me several days later with a $5-$6000 work estimate for work that was mostly not necessary such as new tires and oil leaks that did not exist. The abs system had a 25 year warranty and that was the cause of the warning lights flashing in the dash as I learned later because the work was later done effortlessly by another dealer. I passed on the MB Greenwich work proposal and informed him I would be stopping by early Saturday morning to pick up my car because I had to travel upstate for an event. Instead I was kept waiting over an hour while every twenty minutes the story kept changing regarding the whereabouts of my car. The place was not that busy so someone, you would have thought, could have focused on finding my car. After completely rearranging my plans, I informed him I had to leave and asked to be contacted once the car was found. As I was traveling north I thought my car might have been stolen so I called the wonderfully helpful Greenwich police and asked if I should file a report to which he responded yes. Ten minutes later I received call from Robidio. The car was on the lift in the shop. This is the most obvious place in the world that the car would have been yet after over one hour, he did not leave his computer to check the shop?
And yet I have received dozens of emails requesting 5 star reviews. Seriously? I spoke to the customer service rep about my experience and I think he was equally frustrated. He never responded to my last call. The only employees who were helpful were the valet personnel on the other side of the dealership who tried to assist me.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information
