I had an ultrasound done today in the imaging center by a technician named Sharron. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. I just wanted her supervisors to know that she was very detailed about the scan and thorough.
Shout out to Sharron!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

This review is for the Outpatient Infusion Office! Not the hospital itself.
I currently come once a week for iron infusions. And the team of nurses that work with me in this office are amazing! I actually look forward to coming in and seeing them! They make the process so relaxing and easy!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael B.Tamarac, FL7312Feb 4, 2024
I've been here now for almost 2 weeks. I've eaten so much chicken and mashed potatoes that I'm transforming. It's never been undercooked and variously slightly overcooked but they've got grits in the morning. I never got ice cream at night so I'm good.

Memorial Regional is the only place where we trust my parents to come to if ever an emergency occurs. They are quick and have helped my parents become better immediately.

Just to reiterate they have been trying everything to silence me and say my review and experience is spam and false but it's reality. Beware. I'm still fixing the mess the nurses made on my identity. I do have photo and physical proof of nurses soliciting and facilitating sales and also the identity theft and reporting it to the higher ups and CEO and nothing was done at all. They won't care for you and you are not the highest priority to them. I got fired as a client for speaking out and I have a chronic illness. I was hospitalized and had a follow up appointment and was fired the day of the follow up appointment. I was left scrounging for another doctor to establish a relationship and had to wait 3 months for something available and my health and illness was put at risk.

This is a spam review & has been reported as such. In no way is Memorial Healthcare System affiliated with the service mentioned.
Nov 2, 2023Previous reviewI reported identity theft, drug theft and facilitation of sales and treatment at home by the nurses, and harassment with irrefutable proof where there were other nurses and doctors involved too but particularly the complaint was on two ER nurses. They did absolutely nothing about it except tell the nurses involved that they were reported. I went as far as contacting the CEO and still nothing. They proceeded to retaliate against me because I came forward and tell me I couldn't be seen for my scheduled doctors appointment the day of, with an excuse that I do not live close enough to the office to be seen. I needed to be seen because I was just hospitalized and needed a follow up care. If you dare complain don't expect an outcome because they will try to silence you. They act like they care but they couldn't care less. Proceed with caution.

I was there as an outpatient on Monday 2-5-24 everything was fine until I went to get my CD image and a girl name Jackie in the imaging department. On the first floor was terribly terribly. Rude I simply ask her that they had told me upstairs on the 3rd floor to get the CD .
then Again told me She didn't know what they were doing upstairs And I sample asked her again then she called security on me !! Wow !! I will never step foot in that Hospital again . I also let my doctor know what happened and told him to never schedule anything in that Hospital for me again... Cesar MenendezHelpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

"Sorry, there's nothing else we can do for you but you are free to explore your options through another healthcare provider."
This is a quote from a high up in the Memorial Healthcare system primary care. Apparently I'm a lost cause, I said that, they just implied it. Apparently at 60 and multiple back issues ongoing, they don't have the personnel to care for people in my position. Now they'll tell you that they do, but the only option they currently offer is a Doctor who almost killed me years ago, so I think I'll pass on her, like most normal people would. Let me tell you my story.
I was run over by a Hollywood Cop as he was leaving West Lake Park on this date, 08/08/88. Blew a disc in my back, tore my knee up pretty good. Cost me my job, my car, and so much more. But like we all must do in life, we must move on, which I did. Since that date multiple car accidents and job choices have taken their toll on my back.
In 2018 while out on my motorcycle I developed a stinging sensation along my right rib-cage which travels from my spine to the front along my right side. I immediately went to the Memorial Clinic on Pembroke Rd and Douglas hoping to find the problem . . .
Needless to say, it's been 5 years, countless visits to the ER, to my GP, a Urologist, a Neurologist, a neurosurgeon, the same pain management doctor who almost killed me in 2009 with a simple procedure.
My neurosurgeon told me about a surgery for the intercostal nerve that was very invasive (go in through the rids) but good results are possible. But he wanted to be less invasive first to see if nerve blocks and ablations would provide me the relief I needed. After 4 of each in 3 separate areas of my back failed to address my pain, I showed up in Memorial's ER on Johnson Street. I have been to the ER at least 50 times over the past 5 years to deal with the pain, and each time I'm looked at like a junkie needing a fix which nothing could be further from the truth. When I went to the ER in July, I let them know I wasn't leaving without the surgery due to the pain.
My Doctor met with me (same one as above) and said he could do the surgery the next day to my pleasure. When I woke up from it, they didn't do the surgery that was discussed, they did a different procedure of scraping my spine leaving a scar on my back. My pain was still the same. When questioned about it the Doctor said he was pleased with the result even though I wasn't.
This is the debacle of the past 5 years. This morning I was informed that they are contracting another pain management doctor but refuse to tell me what they do or how they do it, wouldn't even provide a name to check them out. So why do I give you a glimpse into my medical past?
If you're dealing with pain, this is not the place to go. Unless of course you have major insurance, then and only then will you get the care you deserve.
Cause I'll tell you this, it's all about the Benjamin's with this place . . .

Just an update since one of my kids is having a kid at this hospital as I type this. Don't have your kid here either . . . This is coming from a person who had 3 there. Your hospital has gone downhill . . . .

Just an update to add to my already 5 year journey into hell with this hospital and my thoracic spine issue. This is what Memorial focuses on. They focus on making you feel "Less Than!" rather than helping you with your pain. #Fuckers.
The fact that I even have to write this should give you pause when considering visiting this place for care.
They reached out like they usually do whenever someone gives a bad review as you can see from their reply above. Head of nursing over at their location on 7800 Sheridan street reached out by phone last week. She remembered me from when we spoke last year. She seemed surprised that I was once again complaining about the BS care I've received, but it wasn't at her location this time. You see I go to the ER at this location every 4-6 weeks.
My next appointment date for a Dr who will eventually stick a needle in my back is the middle of March. Now that visit is just a visit to discuss what to be done next, so I woun't be having that done until April or May due to scheduling. I'll be back in the ER probably 3 to 4 times by then.
And now to add to all the BS, I believe I've been placed on some type of list by the pharmacy since my prescriptions for pain medications are signed by multiple different ER doctors, so I'm probably flagged as a Doctor shopping patient rather than someone who has been through the ringer with this place seeking relief from the constant throbbing and stabbing pains in my back.
I'll probably be back in the ER sometime this week as the pain is becoming worse and now it is affecting several other areas in my body now . . .Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

My sister was taken there early March. Spent 2 days in ER waiting for room. There were 110 patients waiting for a room! When she finally got a room, they drugged her up. She is bleeding from the inside and instead of finding out why and where, they just give her transfusions. She's in her 80's, so they don't care. Would not recommend this hospital.

The lack of parking and efficient valet services are out of control. This Regional hospital should have sufficient parking to allow patients to visit their doctors. As a cancer patient I have a remarkable cancer team here but can't get access to them for follow ups. Today I tried again and again no parking available so I turned around and drove 1.5 hours back home. Perhaps the hospital's Operations Manager can go out to the chaos every day there and help. It's a stressful situation you put out there every day for patients.

Sometimes so attentive and sometimes just down right mean. Nurses are generally late. This nursing population needs lots of training and development. Right away
