Good food. Good service. Very noisy and crowded at times.

Very popular and one of the better restaurants in the area.

I used to love this place! But now I hate to say the last few times I have been the food is awful for example: like baked potatoes are wrapped in foil and thrown in fridge for days not even heated up all the way before it's given to you when we put butter butter on our potatoes the butter wouldn't even melt. This is so sad also potato was wrapped in foil, which I had to unwrap what happened to presentation. Ordered the French dip my roll for the French tip sandwich and my father's was smashed and looked like it was just pulled out of a bag of pre cut rolls you get from the store (the cheapest brand) and not even toasted. The Meat was probably pulled out of a package and heated up and my au jus was overly salty, but we did not complain when it came, the condiments you use for your baked potato came in little plastic cups that you get for to go food which was also disappointing as it wasn't to go we are eating in your restaurant, should've been in a little plastic or ceramic container container like Mel's used to do. This was very tacky and just shows that there is no pride when they bring your food to the table anymore.

Service was ok no problems here. Really wish Mels was actually cooking their food like they used to do fresh! even the hamburgers have gone down in quality disappointing this used to be a really great place to go eat.

As far as the atmosphere, it is still the same very comfortable nothing wrong with this. It is a really cute restaurant.
I hope that some of this can be corrected
And side not didn't feel good after eating very soon after leaving

Forgot to bring out a meal then brought out a kids meal not even what I ordered
I tried talking to them about the situation and the guy at the pay station snatched my card and ran it and I told him he can't do that and that my order was wrong he proceeded to lie to me and ran my card and said whatever and laughed
This place should be shut down
I could complain about so much more including cleanliness but it's not worth my time

The owners are two awesome people that I adore this is the place to eat when your visiting Jackson.
Highly recommend, great food,very clean restruant you will not be disappointed.

Came here with friends after a camping trip. The staff that helped us were friendly. And the food came out relatively quickly. Pretty standard diner fare options - and they had breakfast available until 4 p.m. if I could give 3.5 stars, I would. Everyone ate their food and we had a good experience. The server also offered to let everyone in our party have separate checks- which made things a lot easier for everyone in our party. Would come back again on the way back from a trip to grab a quick, casual bite.

Not sure what happened this last time we went there, but the service wasn't what it used to be. The employees were more engaged with each other than their customers. We ordered three Reuben sandwiches with fries and the bread was soggy and the fries tasted like they had sat out too long.
Very disappointed.

Cute little diner, and right next to a Tesla supercharger! The service was quick and kind, and the food was tasty!

I thought the customer service here was great. I can't say it was speedy though. We waited probably 30 minutes after ordering for the meal to come out, it wouldn't be so disappointing if the food wasn't bland. It's super loud in there to, if your like me and like a more chill quiet place to eat this place is more rambunctious and loud.

Just came from diner. Been a resident for 37 years. Understand economy.However, we went last week, really enjoyed it. So we went today, TOTALLY different. Items a la carte. drinks 4 oz.like orange juice. at $3.98 a glass, yogurt. half the size, same price, $5.99. Then the 18%,20%, and 22% added 9.47,8.27,etc. ADDED before TIP! We wont be going back. Bart you are ruinin the business along with the government.

Food is mediocre but you get what you pay for, it's diner food. Fries undercooked and mushy. Service by waiter was good, he was attentive and kind. Problem came when the busser gal was clearing plates and spilled mustard all over my son; face, shirt and pants. All she said was "oops, should I get you some napkins?" Um, ok, yes, how else would we clean this up? I get that accidents happen but where was the apology? No remorse whatsoever and didn't even tell our server, just went about like nothing happened. I mentioned it to our server on our way out and he shared he had some concerns with her service today too and he apologized but it wasn't for him to apologize for.
