Our first time trying Mei's we decided to order our typically preferred items so to be able to fairly compare the results. We were very pleased with the overall taste, especially the fresh and properly cooked vegetables. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity. Our order was ready exactly in the time estimated. Great service!

Their Chinese beef noodle is so traditional that I love so much. As a Chinese student that study in SNHU, you could image how far from Manchester to that town I have to drive!

This guy should win an award for touchless take out! Great safe set up and food is consistently good and reasonably priced.

The food their is discussing!!! DO NOT ORDER! Food is old and burn. Never again. After eating and still giving it 1 more try after 1 year last time. The whole family still ends up getting sick!!! How are they still in business??? Stay Away unless you want to get Sick from food poisoning.

Not good at all got the sesame chicken lunch special. Best part about the meal was the pack of soy sauce. Pork fried rice was starched you could taste it through the soy sauce. Got my food to go with no utensils. Cashier had gone to the back do

Language barrier will have this location mishear you when ordering. Ordered scallion pancakes, fried ravioli, D8 with chicken fingers and pork fried rice, and a D11. Got D11, scallion pancake, fried ravioli, chicken fingers, pork fried rice, & crab rangoon? Im allergic to fish haha. When informing them of the error they argued and refuse to fix the order. Ended up bringing the food back and the guy argued with me in front of customers for 10 minutes before reluctantly refunding. The food is ok at best anyways.

After spending part of my day at the Pembroke/Allenstown Old Home Day festivities, I decided to break for lunch and headed over to Mei's Chinese Cuisine, which is located in Suncook Village. My former coworker who lives in Allenstown, orders from Mei's quite a bit. This casual Chinese restaurant offers full service dining, takeout, and delivery. The place was pretty quiet and empty around 12:30PM on a Saturday. I decided to get takeout so I could enjoy my lunch outside on a nice day (while it lasted), the calm before the big impending tropical storm.

I got the Luncheon Special U01: Chicken Lo Mein ($6.75 plus tax) with pork fried rice & egg roll, which was all ready in under 10 minutes. The portion of food was modest for the price, but enough food for lunch. The lo mein dish had soft noodles cooked with soft slices of boneless chicken and plenty of veggies (onions, mushroom slices, sprouts, cabbage) and water chestnuts for crunch. The pork fried rice had red roast pork cubes (some fat pieces), and traces of onion, sprouts, & egg in soft rice (light brown color). The egg roll though not huge was pretty good, which had a firm wrap (not greasy) filled with fresh green cabbage & celery, ground pork, and light seasoning.

The food I had was pretty decent and the flavors were good, not too salty. Also, I was given a cup of duck sauce for the egg roll, but there was no plastic fork/spoon provided in the takeout bag. Good thing I keep some extra plastic forks in the vehicle for such occasions.

Food is always great and owners and staff nice. Good selection although missing luncheon specials!
