If I could tell the whole WORLD to never stop here I would! Please EVERYONE beware of this location meineke 300 "Bucky's" totally violated my wife and I today. Stopped here to get a "Uber Inspection" while getting done we observed the mechanic loosen our rear taillight bulb. During the inspection! Keep in mind you never have to pop someones trunk for inspections folks lol caught them red handed!
Afterwards Bucky came into the waiting area to inform us we would need to pay 60 dollars to install a rear taillight bulb plus 13.80 for the inspection. Once I brought it to his attention I watched his mechanic pop our trunk and loosen our taillight bulb and I would like to see for myself. I was brought into the shop once I went to reach for my rear taillight bulb that was loosen by his mechanic I was told to get out of shop due to policy.
Therefore I asked for my car to be removed from the shop in order to prove my case. Once the car was brought outside Bucky and myself went right to the taillight bulb to witness the light was UNPLUGGED.
After proving it was done by mechanic I was then told he will bring my car back in to reinspect the car however I would have to pay another 13.80 due to the bulb not working in the shop (keeping in mind his mechanic loosen the bulb to start with) our car never had no bulbs out or missing.
For this place to lossen up our bulb to charge us 60 more dollars to install our own working bulb is very violating to any consumer. Please EVERYONE do not go here.. You may be next.
You should be able to trust places like this with you vehicles. Who knows what they will do to your car just to charge you more money I witness this with my own eyes. So so sad!!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I had my tires rotated and oil changed here a couple weeks ago. Then this week, I noticed that something seemed off with my front tires. I called and took my car in on my lunch break and when I got off work, my car was done. The best part was that they rebalanced my tires for free. The gentleman at the front desk was not only nice and helpful, but insisted that it was no trouble and I didn't owe anything. I'll be taking my car to Meineke's for as long as I live in Fayetteville.

Do not come to this store! Owner does not owe up to mistakes he makes. Only nice when you hand over the money. But if there is any problem that's messed up, don't expect to get it fixed.

Scam artists, over charging for parts, found factory parts from outer state dealer for half what they tried to charge.

Crooks . Buckey is the owner and he is pretty slick. Went 3 different times to fix my calalytic converter. They replaced the entire assembly rather than just the converter the first time. It gave out after 5 years (I used aftermarket parts) . Should have lasted the lifetime of my car. So back again I went for a full replacement at $2000. Only lasted 1 year. Luckily I was on warranty, so they had to replace it. Now, right at 5 years, the manifold converter gave out AGAIN...on the highway! Had to call the tow truck. This time I went to Firestone. Had to pay $2000 for an entire new assembly because they had welded the converters to the previous entire assembly together. I could not just replace the converter itself for $300+. AND Firestone told me that Meincke charged me more for their crappy aftermarket converter than an authorized converter. Have never had such an awful experience from any car repair shops. DO NOT USE THEM. Learn from my experience because I figured it out way too late. Will use YELP now before I have any car work done.

I took my Jeep here because the heat only worked when the vehicle was moving. They charged 400 to replace a water pump. Heat worked approximately three weeks then the same issue. This time I was told my car either had a cracked head or blown gasket. At a minimum would have to pay 6600 to fix. Even told us personal reasons why they'd fix it if it was them. I had an extra warranty on the vehicle and when the warranty called and talked to "Bucky" wanted specific records and prooff of this and that. All of a sudden if he was me; he'd true the vehicle in. Had a real mechanic look at the vehicle and 400$ later I have a working vehicle that has neither a cracked motor or a blown head gasket. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. They will rip you off.

I recently took my truck there for my left rear brake caliper was dumping mass amounts of brake fluid. They tried to swindle me by saying this is not an easy fix and would cost from $800 to maybe even over $1000 depending on what was found after taking it all apart. Comes to find out I researched it and did the work myself with the help of a friend costing me only $80. Awesome Service! Screw that place!

I think it's possible these mechanics are scamming people. Here's why:
I went into the Raeford Rd. Meineke for their free brake inspection because my brakes were pumping and shaking the steering wheel.
Little did they know, I had my brakes inspected by the service center at my car's dealership the next day for a second opinion.
Here's what I discovered.
Meineke says my entire brake system was "completely wrecked" and that I needed a whole new system, including all new pads and rotors. They said this would cost $899.
My dealership's service center said the pads were completely fine and the reason my brakes were pumping was because of a large blemish/indent on the front rotor. They said it was an easy fix.
So which is it? Was my brake system "completely wrecked" or were they taking advantage of charging 8x more for something that another service center said was an easy fix?
Or is the truth that they didn't have the equipment to fix the rotor and instead of being HONEST about this, they decide to lie and try to swindle me into paying for a new brake system?Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Joshua A.Fayetteville, NC596Feb 8, 2016
Spent $1200 on my vehicle to get fixed. Came to pick it up and the turn signals weren't working. Guy at the front desk told me to bring it back to get looked at, probably was an issue before I dropped it off. Came back to get the signals checked, he tried to charge me $109 to get the signals fixed. I refused to sign the paper. A mechanic came in at the right moment. He said he would look at it right then. He came back and told me the wire was pinched during the process of it being in the shop, he fixed it at no cost. Thank goodness for the mechanic, Justin, he is the only reason I would go back.
