Rob M.Chester, VA04393Apr 30, 2021Great course. Private club, but they are allowing limited public access to the course for 9 or 18 holes with a cart. There were dormant areas, as most courses are this time of year but I've played it in the summer months and it is fabulous conditions.

Have to give extra credit for how good the food is here. Some of the best of any club in richmond. See my prior review in other amenities.

Food is good and they have great Sunday brunch (perfect for holidays like Mother's Day).
Course is nice. Especially 9th hole.
Older membership so could use a little more youth. But with the golf focus this is expected. They have had many members go on to PGA careers so they do have a youth program.
Reasonable cost of membership compared to many clubs in area make it a bargain. Also convenient to downtown for business access.
Weight room
Men's grill could use some expansion and upgrades (and it is still men's only in the downstairs grill).

She was told I was standing waiting and she chose to ignore me even though she could look up and see me in the mirror. No one else was standing at the bar. I was a guest and perhaps should have been the priority. Disappointed.
