Miller's Downtown Dentistry

An absolute banger of a dentist, put a needle in my gum and didn't feel a thing, finished a filling in like 20-25 minutes! Absolutely recommend for everyone

While the hygienist and dentist were very nice and professional, there is a problem. My dentist was very backed up due to Covid issues, so, I called around downtown to find another one who accepts Delta Dental insurance. I talked to Paige and she told me that they did accept DD. I asked if my exam will (as usual) be 100% covered, and she said she would check with DD. She asked me to email her a copy of my insurance card which I did. She emailed me that they do accept my insurance but that they can't know the amounts. After my exam, I'm presented with the bill and "DD will then refund you." DD ends up covering about $112 hout of $308 and says that this Dentist is not in their network and does not accept their insurance, and that it's disappointing how often either staff is either not educated on what "in network" means, and simply provides incorrect information. I call and talk to Paige, and says that they are not in network and that's she may have "misspoken." She has the opportunity to tell me that they don't accept this insurance twice - once over the phone and once in the email. She gave me an email where I can contact Dr Maxwell himself. That was 4 days ago and he did not reply. Needless to say, I will not return.

Absolutely one of the best dentists in the city! The assistants are so friendly and gentle and funny! And Dr. Miller is so helpful.

They all cater to your needs and make sure you're comfortable at all times. They fill you in on what's going on, where they think you can improve on your dental hygiene, and always answer any questions.

Definitely the best dentist I've been to; strongly suggest this place!

I've had teeth for nearly all my life. And I've gone to any number of dentists. I can say, without reservation, that Dr. Miller's office is the best I've been to. The staff is friendly, competent, and helpful. Dr. Miller is a knowledgeable, and has excellent bedside manner.

Most recently, I went in to have a crown placed. I was trepidatious, Many other dentists I've used in the past have had trouble getting me completely numb, leading to really miserable experiences. But at Dr. Miller's, I had no trouble. The procedure took a couple of hours, and the whole time I felt as if I was the only patient in the office.

Dr. Miller is 0ne of the finest dentist available in the Indianapolis are. I am driving 1000 miles to claim him as my dentist. I drive to Indianapolis from Florida often to take advantage of his expertise and outstanding service. Most importantly Dr. Miller is a real gentleman who cares deeply for his patients. With great concern for me and all his patients I give him and his staff (particularly Emily) my heartiest recommendation.

I've been going to this dentist for about a year and have had no major dental problems, so this review is based on regular cleanings. I've gone to many different dentists over the years (mostly places like Aspen Dental), and this is a definite step up. The downtown location is very convenient for me, located on the 8th floor of the Bank of Indianapolis building on Meridian. Although parking can be a little annoying on the street, there is usually a spot nearby. During warmer weather I just walk or bike.

The staff is very friendly and professional. Although I usually don't spend a lot of time with Dr. Miller himself, he is a very pleasant, young dentist.

I don't know why I never thought to review Dr. Miller before. It only occurred to me as I looked him up to refer him to a colleague.

I've been going to Dr. Miller for years and I ADORE him.

Everyone in the office is kind and happy and professional and Dr. Miller is the most gentle, sweet, caring, and funny guy.

Best dentist I've ever, ever been to!

I have been to several dentists in my past.

I have moved a bunch and had a great deal of problems and cavities.

Although the dentist has never been a pleasant experience for me, I am writing because I have been going to this particular practice for over a year and felt it necessary to discuss the things they have done for me.

1 - The staff is great, every time I go, the dentist spends an ample amount of time with me and I feel that they sincerely care about my teeth

2 -I have had cavities filled several times in the past and dreaded the experience.

At Millers, I had a cavity filled and for the first time ever, I was surprised when it was over... they did the work.. and said.. you are done!... I replied.. ("Really?")
- just a fantastic job for filling a cavity (I have had a handful filled in the past), I had no bite issues afterwards and the pain was very minimal.

3 - For being young, the dentist does a great job and for his location in Downtown Indianapolis, his pricing is very affordable.

I strongly recommend Maxwell Miller's downtown dentistry to many others when they are looking for a dentist.
